Friend Codes, Fruit, Trading and Photo Thread For Animal Crossing
Sméagol replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
You have Celeste there too. Your Sahara is selling a industrial wall and Racetrack floor. I'll get you 4, my favourite. What was your in-game name again?. -
Quick question, are you required to revisit missions later to do everything? Had a burning building in the first real mission, but couldn't figure out how to save the people there.

Friend Codes, Fruit, Trading and Photo Thread For Animal Crossing
Sméagol replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I guess I forgot to mention I opened my gates. Nothing special going on, but Nook is selling a black safe and white studio camera. Sahara selling a rice-paddy wall and palace floor I believe. Edit: Also, it seems some of you had some fun yesterday on my island haha. New flowers everywhere, someone gave Pinky something new to wear (it seems), and someone dropped a random wallpaper.. Which I actually didn't have yet, so thanks! -

I was hoping visitors would take some stuff as well! Maybe this was a bit too much of a surprise. I planned to open up to public later, but maybe I'll leave the stuff for tomorrow to give people here another chance. That will probably be in the evening though, I have plans for the afternoon. -

Surprise furniture market! No expensive stuff though. Gate is open now Ehm, please water the single patch of red roses to the right of the plaza! Both shops still open, Nook fully stocked, is selling a server. Edit: @Tales, was your visit worthwhile? You were there for about a minute! It doesn't look like you took anything.. -
Bumping this as I've been playing this the last few days again. Got a couple new ascensions, it's 8/9/8/0 for me. Yes, I should play the watcher more, I have actually barely touched her yet, haven't even gotten to A1, or unlocked everything. I like how she can do massive damage right out of the gate, but yeah, need to play more. Decks: Managed to get to Ironclad A8 with this shit deck: At it's core was the combust + (2) rupture combo, making me gain strength each turn. Very slowly. Too slow in fact. Limit break helped, but what saved the deck was the block (+ entrench) and a number of good Relics, especially that urn that heals you when you use a power card. That plus the reaper made me heal a decent amount during fights, which was needed. I did massive damage, but also took a lot of damage. In the end I lost to the elite before the heart. I guess I can't call it bad as I made it to A8.. But I didn't think it was fun. Unlike this deck. The act 2 boss got me (bronze automaton), so it wasn't perfect yet, but it was close.. The deck was super tight, and that makes my dick hard. 18 cards, lost all my strikes, so it was almost all block plus some apparitions which worked wonderfully. But.. I ran out before I got hit with the giant laserbeam. Since it's a small deck, i'll just fully list it: 2 Defend 2 Defend + 2 Shrug it off + 2 Body slam + Uppercut + Drop kick Berserk + Demon form + Entrench + 5 Aparition I had a lot of luck getting my deck to this form, but I needed even more luck than that to make it pefect. I needed to get rid of those defends as well, prefferably for other better block like more shrug it off, and more relics that suit the deck. Another fun one was an almost complete ice deck for the defected. Heart got me, but it was close, and I think I could have beaten it if I didn't make a particular mistake. A whole bunch (20) of good relics, Just 17 cards (of which one was curse of the bell), practically all upgraded, 3 cold snaps, glacier, a ball lightning thrown in for some extra damage and evoking stuff, loop of course, and consume, and 2 fissions which I love, they really help with setting things up. I had the relics that lets you start with 1 focus and 3 extra orb slots, so after the set-up I was blocking insane amounts. Just wish I also had a blizzard. I wasn't doing much damage, but I was blocking so much stuff I could last a while. Last deck I'll mention is another fun ironclad deck.I lost to Donu and Deca, but I had fun getting to that point. I haven't played the firebreathing card since the update (haven't played much ironclad at all since the update). it was a card I usually ignored, but now.. It's pretty good. I had 2 of them, and I coupled it with wild strike at first.. But then I got immolate. I was burning motherfuckers left and right. It's an insane combo against groups.. But the deck I had was just a tad too slow against the beefy bosses. I'm still trying to beat the heart with Silent, setting it at A1 for that purpose, I usually didn't lower the difficulty, but I want an easier time. Got close a few times, but no success yet. It's very weird going back to A1.. It's strange to realize how all the gradual bumps in difficulty accumulate to a very large jump in total. "wait, I fully heal after the boss?" "these creatures are doing much less damage!". It doesn't look like much of a difference, but it is.

@Tales Thanks for the painting! I didn't go to @BowserBasher as I was open myself at the time, and watching something on Netflix. @Glen-i I need to check, but I think I have spare cancer fragments for you (doesn't that sound ominous). I actually didn't get any at all with last heavy shower, but I still had a few in storage, but not sure if I have enough. This is because, and I believe I mentioned this theory to @RedShell, star fragments stop spawning past a certain time in my experience. Somewhere in the evening, I assume 18:00, apart from a few default ones. This can screw me over of I start the game late the day after a meteor shower, and it's not the first time. Some data: The heavy meteor shower from last week: I was up for a few hours, doing something else, but with the Switch ion tabletop mode, and me just pressing 'A' whenever I saw something shiny on screen. The day after I started the game around 17:00, did my routines, but didn't wait for them to respawn. Result: 16 regular star fragments, and 3 large ones. Yesterday I had a light shower.Stayed up a bit as well, while I was open for my market, trying to catch some stars as well. Got several before I went to bed. Not anywhere close to the number from last week. However, I got up early today. Result: 18 regular star fragments, 2 large ones, and 2 new zodiac ones. Conclusion: don't wait to collect your star fragments. Also I mentioned "default" star fragments, I think the game will still generate star fragments on start-up even if you start in the evening, those will be lying on the beach already when you start, but no more will respawn after that, even if normally they would have (i.e. you made enough wishes). There's also the lone default star fragment you get if you had shooting stars, but didn't make any wishes at all. You still get one. At least I had one appear one day, the day after I saw a few shooting stars but certainly didn't make any wishes. And another thing, I find it useful to stop whatever I'm doing for exactly one minute, whenever I notice a shooting star. There will always be several, and they all happen in the same minute. In a heavy meteor shower you may get several minutes in succession that will spawn shooting stars, but in a light shower (any clear night), it will be just one minute once in a while. So once the minute has passed, you can continue. There's a max number of fragments that will spawn however, so they stop spawning at some point regardless of how many wishes you made. Finally a note about Label.. Yesterday was the first time I "messed up" the outfit. She wasn't totally convinced, and I didn't get any Label clothing item, and therefore no new unlock. I'm pretty sure I haven't unlocked everything yet, so I guess this mean that if you fail her challenge, you get a lesser reward. I also only got one tailor ticket today, and I usually got 2 I believe.

Oh whoops! Too late now I guess? My gate is now open. Snooty making Coconut juice. Feel free to grab the other spare DIY recipes (or clothes obviously). Celeste wandering about, currently below the market. Buried another pearl somewhere, because I have too many! Finders keepers! Both shops still open at the moment, and fully stocked! -

Redd's visiting, and I believe the scary painting is real. The 2 others left are the familiar fake Mona Lisa and Girl with a star earring. I'll be open a bit later, after dinner. -

Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase 20/7 @3pm BST
Sméagol replied to Kaepora_Gaebora's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah. The problem is I can't get hyped for it. They didn't announce it beforehand (well, not early enough), so I didn't know when to expect it, and as a result, I missed it "live" (I just got up). The problem with that is that while looking for the Direct, I already saw the thumbnails for SMT 3 & SMT 5. So that's 2 surprises gone. Then the direct itself: too short, too few games, and some of it still well out of the way.. 2021? What about this year? Cadence: updates looks cool, but I have absolutely zero interest in the game. Wrestling thing: this actually, looks somewhat fun. I'm not interested in wrestling at all, but with the more arcady vibe, I might give it a try, though chances are still very small. Plus I've already seen it before the direct. Rogue thing: still looks decent, but another thing we've already seen. 3rd person view, so I'm probably not going to touch it regardless. SMT3: doesn't look as interesting to me as 5 (I've never played any of them), but I would need to see more. SMT5: still looks intriguing, but I'd like to see gameplay by now. 2021 <sigh> And then it was over. With only a remaster released in 2021 being the only real new thing announced, which I've already seen right when I was looking for the direct. This was in the Japanese Direct: which would have made it more interesting: Anyway, I'm going to salvage this massive disappointment by watching GameXplain's 45 minute prediction video, and having a laugh. -

Still no gameplay. Direct was short and disappointing. I mean I liked most of what I saw to some degree, even if most of it doesn't really cater to me, I just thought this whole presentation and the approach they took is baffling. -

All right, didn't go out after all, but got distracted anyway, so I'm opening a bit late. Unfortunately, Celeste isn't visiting, but anyone who wants to see some shooting stars is welcome. I finished my little project! -

Should have went for it earlier! Meteor Shower tonight, so I suspect Celeste will show up as well. There's a good chance I'm out this evening, but I'll probably leave the Switch running in the background. Nook is once again still fully stocked as well. Will post when I'm open. -

Cycled roughly 90 KM today, if the website I'm using to reconstruct my route is correct (don't have a cycling computer, or whatever you call it in English). I was in the mood for a cycling trip, and I need more execice anyway. MAYBE I should have gradually increased the distance, but I'm an idiot. Anyway, Saw lots of new things, so I'm happy. Next time I should bring my camera. -

I 'll probably get it eventually, but I'm only getting one game this month, and I'm inclined to go for Catherine.

I guess, there are similiarities yeah.. But this is a mod based on an ancient game. Anyway, this exploded on twitter yesterday:
