What song(s) are you really into at the moment?!

This seems to be getting one of the season pass updates tomorrow. Several new quests, and some extra items I'll ignore just like the previous ones.
-
So far only one for me, but that will change starting next Thursday. Well earlier than that probably, but that's when IFFR 2018 starts. The beguiled ♥♥♥♥♥ The new Sofia Coppola. Nice story and visuals, occasionally amusing, but was hoping for more horror or thriller stuff.

Yeah I have neglected this all year. I'll give you my favourites when I have reconstructed the complete list of films I've seen this year.. But Blade Runner 2049 is going to be at the top probably.
-
I'd like to, but I probably won't. I'm preparing for the upcoming film festival.
-
Surprising, and somewhat cool, but I can't see the long-lasting appeal of this. With plenty of games in the months around it, I'll pass on it. Edit: Probably.
-
I am going to do some unwarranted hyping anyway.

Metroidvania from Brazilian indie gamestudio Long Hat House.
-
It will be a real world version of Mom hid my game.

After 180 hours, I've finally beaten this shit game. Graphics are bad, controls are bad, enemies are hard to avoid, and you have to go everywhere to grab items. Yeah I'm not touching this game again. Anyway, here's the result:

Yeah.. I didn't make it last night. But I did play this morning, and I made it to action Queen. I think this is the first splatfest I've actually partaken in since flight vs invisibility. Anyway, it was cool to see the new Shifty station, Too bad we couldn't get any team games going.
-
I actually plug my pro controller into my computer when I'm on it. Anyway, these are the games I've amassed during 2017. I removed all demos except the one, because I like the songs. There are only a few I regret buying.

It opens up another cave, with the toughest challenges in the game. Some aren't that hard, but others ask you to do things you never have to do during the rest of the game (speedrun stuff), and you have to do all of them in one go. I haven't beaten that cave yet, and haven't touched the game in a while. One day I'll try to finish it 100%. I believe completing it also gives you another ending, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, a few days ago. Got the Monika ending. Monika is best girl. For those unaware: it's a typical visual novel on Steam. And it's free.
-
Any plans for Splatfest? I'll try to be there Saturday evening, but no promises. Also, a new map is out.
-
It's out now, and has my interest, but I think I prefer to hear some comments / recommendations on it first. That is, if there members who have played the game other than those who have already posted in the non-Switch thread.

I rushed through chapters 6, 7 and 8 a few weeks ago, avoiding all fights, except the few required ones, just to view (most of) the cutscenes (I love the sci-fi twist). Stopped when I arrived at what looks to be the final boss. Since the last few areas don't really seem interesting enough for "repeat" playthroughs, and for other reasons (grinding stuff), I've been mostly just doing (blade) sidequests, and looking for heart-to-hearts. Some of those blades are a bit annoying to develop though. Every time I have to find some specific creature to fight is annoying. "Egh, what am I looking for? Where the hell is it?" And now I have one that is pretty easy, as I mostly just have to feed it, but I also have to talk to Nopon. And at this point in the game, I've talked to most of them already, so it's just a clickfest. That said, I need the field skill, as I only got some extra blades with the Nopon wisdom recently, and before that all the hard Field skill challenges were off-limits. But now I finally got to see Bana again (:D). I wonder how many rare blades come from specific cores though. I don't have that many left to go, but I stumbled on a specific one purely by chance (Kassandra). I've barely touched a guide before now (apart from battle mechanic explanations), and I wouldn't have found it if I were specifically looking for her but without a guide. Anyway, next session I'll do a little bit more of sidequesting and blade grinding, but then it's time to revisit Morytha and climb the world tree.

The new anime and manga thread! [Use Spoiler Tags!]
Sméagol replied to Shorty's topic in General Chit Chat
On Netflix: This looks to be different than the other anime stuff they have, or at least on the Dutch Netflix (UK has a bigger selection I believe). Looks more interesting to me, because all the anime I've tried have disappointed me. -
WHERE'S MY CHIBI ROBO YOU MOTHERFUCKERS. <ahem> I liked the Direct, though I would have liked a Mario Maker Switch surprise announcement. And well, Chibi Robo. The World Ends With You: Final Remix (2018) - Probably not getting this. I have the original, and to me it seems this is not a game you should play on anything else but a DS. Extra content however.. Hmm. Pokkén Tournement DX Battlepack dlc (wave 1 31-01-2018; wave 2 23-03-2018) - Looks nice if you're into the game, which I'm not really. But if I were, I would have liked more than 2 extra characters. But since I hear nobody talk about this game, I guess two is already more than can be expected. Dragonquest Builders demo - I'll comment in it's own thread once I've played the demo. Kirby Star Allies (16-03-2018) - For someone who likes Kirby, I own surprisingly few Kirby games. I wish they'd give Kirby the tripple A treatment for once (i.e. like Mario), but I'm getting this. Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (Spring 2018) - Musou, I'll pass. Mario Tennis Aces (Spring 2018) - I've never been big on (Mario) Tennis games (I would have preferred a new Mario football game announcement), but could be a fun addition to my multiplayer library. Especially if it has motion controls, which wasn't mentioned. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana (Summer 2018) - Maybe. I've never played an Ys game, but could be interesting, especially after Xenoblade. I'd need to see more. Super Mario Odyssey update (February 2018) - That's genius. SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy (Summer 2018) - Eh, why the hell not. I only play the women anyway. ACA NEOGEO Art of Fighting 2 - Once I have a fighting stick, I'll get a couple of these ACA NEOGEO titles, but not this one. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle (Spring 2018) dlc - They went with the obvious choice. Looking forward to it! Payday 2 (23-02-2018) - Never had any interest in this. Fe (16-02-2018) - Most likely getting this. Celeste (25-01-2018) - Probably not getting this. Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (04-05-2018) - Missed out on this, and with all the praise it's getting here on NE, I'm definitely getting this. Dark Souls Remastered (25-05-2018) - The most exciting thing for me in this Direct. Getting this. Hope we'll get the other two as well, as haven't played the sequels before.

I have this on Steam, but never finished it, and the PC port isn't fantastic. Getting this. Edit: though hopefully plenty of other people will get it as well and / or the online functionality is cross platform. Hate to see it going to waste. Would love to play some hide and seek.

I'd watch a spin-off show about the adventures of Captain Killy. Both the real and the fake one.

I'm going to cry if they announce a proper sequel to Chibi Robo for Switch. I'm also going to cry if they announce some cheap mobile game instead.
