  1. Even funnier is that, despite my increasing disapprovement of big tech, I'm technically still using facebook, and I did download whatsapp on my new phone. it says more about my social life that I didn't notice anything unfortunately. Which hopefully is a wakeup call for those small companies.
  2. And while that makes perfect sense.. I can't deny the need I have to experience Big "motherfucking" Rigs for myself, now I'm reminded of it.
  3. I never addressed this, mainly becausae my point seems to have come gotten across, but to state it explicitly: I never intended to recommend that setup specifically, I was just mentioning what I would buy, but more importantly, also why I'd buy it. But you seem to be doing the thing I recommended, buy stuff as you need it. Your images aren't working for me. I was mostly happy with the camera bag I bought. You may not need one if the strap is working for you (is what i gather from the filename that is displayed), but I wanted a dedicated camerabag. I've got a ThinkTank Mirrorlessmover 20. I wanted something very compact, so I can take it with me when I go cycling somewhere. It's a tad too compact occasionally for my SLR, as I can't fit a 3rd lens in it, but should be perfect for a mirrorless camera. I'd get a gorillapod. Mind you, it's not a fantastic tripod. It won't work in windy conditions or if there are vibrations from other sources. It's will wear down much quicker than a good tripod. But it's literally flexible, so can do stuff regular tripods can't, and will mostly do the job under normal circumstances, and it's pretty portable and relatively cheap. You may also want to consider a good monopod instead or in addition. Or, if you think you're willing to carry it around, get a good travel tripod. Good ones are expensive though.. But a good (travel) tripod is probably the single most important accesory you can buy if you're serious about photography. Oh, something I won't have to think about, but consider spare batteries and SD cards.
  4. Well, in my case.. I'm not interested in the Kingdom Hearts games since I can't stand any footage (of admittedly cutscenes) I've seen of it. It makes me want to crack open my skull against the wall. I don't think Disney and Square Enix mix at all. So I'm not interested in a character if I absolutely can't stand the source material, just like Minecraft character. I wish I could just delete those from my account. But yeah, objectively, i can admit it's a fitting choice as a final character, just a massive letdown for me personally. I missed the beginning, but I've caught up. Doomguy being a mii costume is better than nothing, but it's a massive piece of videogame history which isn't properly represented.. So they need to rectify that in a sequel.
  5. Massively disappointing, never played (and don't care for) any of the games, so this character does absolutely nothing for me.
  6. It's funny how I would have completely missed this, if it weren't for the bit of news I happen to have caught earlier this evening.
  7. At the very least we can speculate which characters make it into the next game. I hope it's not minecraft guy.
  8. Sarcastic clapping in Super Mario Bros 3.
  9. My body wasn't ready..
  10. I'd love a nendo of Megaera.
  11. And while I'm busy creating threads for new games on retro systems, let me add this one I received today: I've posted it in the Kickstarter thread I believe, and now it's available. https://greenboygames.com/ The creator is working on a sequel (it's part of a planned trilogy), and for the sequel he's planning some weird hardware mechanics, something that sounds like stop 'n swop to me.. The kickstarter for the sequel will start next month.
  12. A port of the game to the console that originally inspired it. https://eldenpixels.com/alwas-awakening-nes/ One of the EU retailers is https://store.strictlylimitedgames.com/products/alwas-awakening-collectors-edition-nes-preorder Pre-orders open until 17-10. I'll probably buy it, but money is tight right now, so I might miss it.
  13. Last time I'll bother but.. @darksnowman, Celeste here.
  14. It looks cool so far. I have seen Bus Boy and the Legend of the Ten Rings. While I think the film overall is marginally better than Black Widow, Marvel has done it again: it made me invested in characters I didn't care about previously. What I liked: Most characters The addition of Kung Fu action. Only while actually watching the film I realized how much of a difference this made. The Chinese flavour which felt genuine and not something thrown in to appease the Chinese market (althought that probably played a part ) What I didn't like: Pacing They could have done the Ta Lo part better.. Either do more with it, or less and emphasize the real world action, which to me was more interesting. Some character developments
  15. Remember Rebecca Black? She's still making music, I found out when I saw she was coming to Amsterdam for a concert. So for shits and giggles I checked her recent work out. The first I checked, Personal, I didn't like. The 2nd and 3rd, Girlfriend and some remix of Sweetheart, that's a lot better. Then the 4th.. This one I was like "alright, I'll put you on my Spotify playlist".
  16. I'd have to look it up, but I'm pretty sure they already have in one country.. I think in South-Korea.
  17. They're not great.
  18. Two birthdays coming up for those interested. Pinky tomorrow (9th) and Boone on the 12th.
  19. I won't be starting 3 for a while, but between 1 and 2 I definitely prefer 1. Despite being somewhat empty, I always missed the overworld in 2, and wish they improved upon it instead of getting rid of it altogether.
  20. Gauging interest for future reference. On another forum I go to, they have these bimonthly Lego MOC challenges, where you buy a (cheap) set, then use it to build something of your own imagination with it. Then post the results. Anyones interested in doing something like that in the future? Yeah it'll cost you some money, but I imagine doing it just once and not bimonthly. They used cheap small 3-in-1 creator sets like this one.
  21. It takes some getting used to (it's no Xcom), but I think I'm somewhat interested. Would love to see more characters though, but we'll probably get those. As DLC.
  22. It's too bad the 3DS shop isn't available on my DSi. I had a look recently coincidentally. It confirmed I had some points left, 720 I think. Unlike with the Wii, I wasn't on top of the news about that shop closing, so missed my chance to use the remaining points. Also, like the wii shop, there still 1 or 2 things available, but I forgot what they were, one was the browser I think, which is practically unusable of course at this point.
