  1. I'm a big Driver fan. 1 & 2 are great, 3 is shite. I played PL on Xbox and liked it. Loads of great cars, trucks, and bikes to unlock and play around with. It more than made up for Driv3r. Those screenies don't look as Sun drenched as the Xbox version but they do look better. If they sort out the excessive traffic and targeting system then this could be a great game worth buying. Only problem is the Xbox version let you play your own music off the harddrive. Any chance the Wii version will sport this feature?
  2. Cake. Packaging never lies.
  3. Happy Owenday!
  4. "I'll make you blush."
  5. Hot Fuzz From the Shaun of the Dead lads.
  6. We don't get Monster Munch round our way no more. If we do they are usually out of date. Blergh. IMO nothing beats Hula Hoops they are the God of crisps. I'm quite partial to a packet of honey roasted peanuts too.
  7. The two games I'm still looking for are Chibi Robo and Tales of Symphonia. I'm trying to find them for £20 each. 8/
  8. That reminds me of Amiga fans...
  9. That is pretty much my view too. PC 'gamers' in my experience are the worst.
  10. Don't bake the pasta it'll turn to rock. Grill it. Not a big fan of pasta myself. I'm a sandwich man. You can put almost anything between two slices of bread and have a great sandwich. (who's having naughty thoughts?) Except another slice of bread.
  11. Happy Birthday Linkster!
  12. Like The Wicker Man remake. God that's so bad it's great. Personally I get turned off by movies that have Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, or 'Marky' Mark Wahlberg in them. Still, I'll give them a chance before I walk out.
  13. I sold my Gamecube and no Wii yet means I can’t go and throw it on and refresh my memory of it, which is a little hazy. What I do remember though, it has that weird feel that Killer7 does. Visually it looks great, very clean and shiny. The main character model is great but the animations aren’t quite as smooth as you might like. The environments have a large resemblance to Capcom’s other franchise Dino Crisis 3. While it plays like a mix of God Hand and Metroid. It’s like a simplified MGS but not… and it’s not quite a bog standard shooter either. It’s an old-school shooter that’s all about score. The better the score the more you can buy, like God Hand. And just like God Hand the challenging gameplay can be condemned as repetitive but that’s what old-school games did best - test you. See how long you could go before you lost concentration and made a mistake. PN03 is all about shooting and dodging while making it look effortlessly stylish. Vanessa (a saucy take on Samus) moves gracefully under fire. She’ll flip, spin, and gyrate her way through levels and making a mistake will piss you off. You can blame that on the controls at first but after a short while of practising you’ll soon start blaming yourself. It’s the same with Killer7; you can hate the game for forcing you to play a certain way, but with every game you have to learn to adapt or you’ll miss out. It not very long but you won’t unlock everything first time so plenty of reason to replay it. It’s hard to find on the shelf in stores right now, but look around and you might find it. You can try eBay or go here. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0000A1OWD/ref=dp_olp_2/026-0163948-6322822
  14. Aleste ain't that great. It is good, I still have it, but it always pales in comparison to Axelay, or R-type. Carrier Air Wing (1990) is the arcade sequel to U.N. Squadron (1989). I remember this ginger haird guy called Nick, usually wore a cream polo neck sweater, would play both of those games down the local kebab shop on one single credit. While I would waste dozens of 10p's just getting past the first boss. I'm better now.
  15. FF7 looked like it belonged on N64 while FF8 looked like a proper Playstation version. It was great. My favourite by far. I loved that you could drive around in a car rather than the usual chocobos. Everything mentioned above about it I loved too. The beach to battle beginning always gets me in the mood. And Seifer taking down Odin was epic for me. Best FF moment ever. Seven also got boring near the end, for me, as I had go back level up my characters more. And making Ribbons was a pain in the arse.
  16. Viewtiful Joe. PN03. (I'm one of the few that enjoyed it) Wario Ware.
  17. I'm still looking around. High streets are a no go, onlines stores I have checked for months are always out of stock. I have, I think, got a copy ordered from HMV. They are waiting for stock. I think they don't realise yet it's probably not available. Waiting for a reply from DVDCRAVE. I sold my Cube and am waiting for my Wii to turn up so I need a PAL copy otherwise I'd just use my freeloader and import a US copy. If I had held on to my purple box of tricks. Thanks for the help guys.
  18. Hey, I can't find a single UK PAL copy anywhere. Can someone point me in the direction? I knew I shouldn't have waited to get this one. Bugger.
  19. Glad things turned out well. Merry Christmas to all.
  20. God damn. I love his music. He has in spades what these days is considered quite rare - actual talent. RIP. Him and Bob Marley are probably rockin' out Heaven.
  21. Eww, Japanese chavs?!
  22. Jeepers Creepers 2. Piece of Sh!t. Completey ruins any credibility the first one had.
  23. You dishonour us Ninja with your piratey speak... prepare to DIE!
