I recently installed GIMP onto my computer in the hopes of doing my own photo editing and stuff like that. Only trouble is, i havn't a clue how to use it. Anyone got any pointers on how i can get started with this?

Good morning to all As many of you are aware, i am facing the threat of redundancy from work. I recently had an appeal hearing as to why i believe my independant scoring sheet score (the sheet was used to assess everyone in the company and to make a fair decision on who is at "high risk"). I am currently writing a grievence report up because as of late since being put at "high risk" i havn't been doing a lot except browse the net. Below is the report/letter i have written so far. This is roughly what i am handing in to my boss's boss. This is open to discussion.

True, i understand. I didn't see a need to create a thread for one of the questions. Now that i think about it, a GIMP thread would be a good idea. I shall commence immediatly.

Legally they can't. If you choose to cancel, they can only charge what was agreed in your contract as and when a contract is cancelled. This can be a months rate or something like that.

True, always hate seeing high scores that are impossible to even come anywhere near. It ruins the fun. We should create our own leaderboard on here instead. Would be fairer.

Thats a darn good cheap HDMI cable there, i think i payed about £6-£8 for the one i got at home. Ok, its a gold plated one used for the Blu-ray.

You have to remember that his kids will have features that Michael had before surgery commenced hence why they don't look much like him now.

You should really have at the beginning "Dear Sir/Madam" or something like that. Otherwise its a good read and goes to the point. I left O2 when they wouldn't allow me to re-new my contract and get a new phone because my old N95 decided that it didn't like memory cards and didn't like the camera flash amongst other things. Or even fulfill my contract at all, made me pay near £80+ to end it, of which i cancelled my direct debit before and refused to pay.

With Mario Kart, it depends which version you are talking about. As for Sonic 3D, its a 3D game as Sonic is fully 3D, same goes for Tails and Knuckles and all the characters used in this game. Its just the flooring that looks 2D/3D to me.

Forza in my eyes is cack. Yes, i did like the car modding but that was about it once i played the game. I'm a PGR man myself with 4 being the best of the series so far. There is something that PGR has that Forza is missing and i can't put my finger on it. It would have been a good idea to get a Data Transfer Kit from M/S, if they still do them. That would have transferred everything from save files to gamertags to the new HDD and you could continue playing with no troubles. As for Gears 1 and 2. Awesome games, even though i have only played Gears 1 so far. Its best to get the 1st title and beat that before doing the second. Multiplayer is pure awesome, words cannot put it into context.

I know exactly what you are going through, also being someone who has been through what you are going through now. It is shocking how the J/C can put you on a pointless course to do some Job Search that can easily be done in the comfort of your own home. Did you go on the 2 week course before this 13 week one?. The 2 week course i did was the most pointless course i've ever been on. A "Help you back to Work by improving what you are weak on" course. The only thing i was missing/weak on was work experience, and that course couldn't give me that. I even told the advisors that they were wasting their time with me as i didn't need this course, but it was required the same as the 13 week Job Search course to get your benefit payment.

I was meant to be visiting my g/f today, but she made some excuse last night to avoid seeing me again. How is it when you arrange time off together and you're all hyped about it and the day before travelling, an excuse arises. And they go on about "can't wait to see you" and all that. I smell bull. So instead of doing this, i'm having one of them chill-days today. Much deserved after the week(s) i've been having. May go on the Wii and 360 online later and watch a movie. Not sure yet. And my MP3 players decided to stop working, no longer it wants to put music on and when it does it corrupts the songs. And consistently crashes.
