The Running Man Another Arnie movie, and my first viewage of it. I thought it was pretty good for one of Arnie's earlier movies. Has several memorable quotes, but not as many as other movies. 8/10

I suppose there has to be a hard/boring bit in order to have any chance of getting work. Application forms just happen to be part of it (the waiting game is another). You have to be careful with sending a tailored CV, some employers can see right through some un-truths as such. I learned that on a Job Centre course i was "forced" onto. Long story, ask christhegreat, he knows about it more recently. And thats another thing, i hate it when employers do not contact you back. You bother to contact them, so i reckon they should contact you back. So whilst i play the waiting game, i go on the 360. Unlike you EEVIL, i have the bare details of my CV burned into my brain. I even have the standard questions found on application forms in there as well (ok, i know that sounds sad but it does save me a lot of time in the long run). I sometimes stumble on the section "What can you offer" or the better one "Anything else to add that could improve your chances of being selected for a possible interview" In other news New series of Shooting Stars on tonight 10pm, BBC 2. I'm not holding much chance of it being good from the special at Christmas.

I made a similar promise, change the word "Brownie" to "Scouts/Cub-Scouts". I believe i have 3/4 broken that promise. The 1/4 i have not broken is i do help other people (now and then)

Have fun Ell, hope the weather holds up. Shall be doing the usual today, chill-out with a Pepsi or two whilst watching Fast Show. May watch a movie later, and play some Gears.

2 TV movies i have watched recently. Bruce Almighty Stars Jim Carrey. Bruce Nolan, the man who thinks God has something against him when he thinks his life is going to pot. Until the opportunity of a life-time comes about. Excellent movie, great humour and hilarious moments throughout. 9/10 Commando Stars Arnie. Excellent movie, need i say more. (EEVIL will think i probably will need to) 9.5/10 And now, for the recent Cinema trip (you may or may not believe me) Scarface Stars Al Pacino. When i saw a trailer for this to be shown again when i saw Terminator Salvation, i was actually quite surprised to be fair. I knew Cineworld was showing some classic movies again for a limited time only, and this was one i wanted to see. Even though i own this on DVD already, it would be an experience to see it. And believe me, it was well worth it. I actually felt like i was back in 1982 and i was seeing this for the first time along with everyone else. Excellent movie, 10x better in the cinema in surround sound. 10/10

Kids can legally buy 18 Certificate and even Porn...
Jimbob replied to flameboy's topic in General Chit Chat
We have to put a hope on that, but it won't happen. They will probably just put something in place properly to make sure there is no loop-hole anymore like this current one. Honestly, there should be something in place to prevent under-age sales. And it should be more tougher than the current one. -
You wanna know my friend, well allow me to reveal it. It was Scarface, the 1982 classic starring Al Pacino. It had a one-day showing in Cineworld, Newport yesterday. Well worth the £4 on the ticket, 10x better in the cinema. It had that feeling that when i watched it, i hadn't seen it before ever and i was watching it for the first time. But this movie was out 4 years before i was born or thought of.

If i gave my 12/13 year old cousin a copy of this news article and asked him to purchase a copy of Rambo from a top DVD store, i reckon he'd get it. It's a silly law, i've been able to buy 18 rated movies online since i was 15, no way to prove you are 18 at all. They should make it harder to purchase age-related stuff online and in stores, work on the law that exists. -
I'm off to the cinema tonight to watch a classic movie. Should be interesting as well. Had to also spend much of today inside waiting for the new shower-room stuff to arrive, now have to wait until it gets fitted in a few weeks time. Not really looking forward to it to be fair, that would mean i would have to have a bath (of which i cannot fit in the bath as it is too small for me) plus i hate baths because you wash yourself and go back into your own dirt afterwards, eww!!

I kept doing multiplayer bot matches with armies of Shigeru Miyamoto bots coming after me (i recall Rare putting Shigsy's head into the game). Thought it was fun, kept freaking my mates out in 4 player mode with it.

Yes, the Stone Mask is useful especially around the Ikana area. I haven't been on Majora's Mask for a long time, so i can't remember half of the game until i turn it back on then it all will come flooding back. Have you upgraded to the Guilded Sword yet (the one that is made using the Gold Dust).

A fun filled pro-active day i had on Sunday Note: the above is a lie, i have done nothing much. Saturday night however, was my Uncles 50th. He got a tad drunk, so did my Mum. Was funny trying to communicate with the pair of them.
