It's not as bad as many people have made it out to be, but it isn't the best i've seen. It's like i was saying in my first post, if Doug Naylor did the 2 series alone then it wouldn't be as good as we, the fans would expect. He is good at what he does, and yes some of the episodes he wrote and made himself are good, but Red Dwarf needs both writers/creators to make it great.

It kind of heads in that direction for me as well. But, there are several topics i find an interest in and reply accordanly to them. The whole concept of the new N-E is working in my opinion, there is a huge buzz around and all that. But i have noticed several topics always go amis and die quickly.

Even though the idea of having hundreds of books in the palm of my hand sounds excellent, i won't be making a purchase. Nothing really beats holding the physical book in your hand(s) and reading it page by page. I'm not against the idea, it just doesn't sound like it is for me.

mcj metroid is right, there are fans around on here. And guess what, you've found one right here. Now then, this is just the news i've been waiting for. Even though it is expected, and has been for a long time now in my opinion. And if filming is due around January, expect the series around Easter-time (considering B2E took a few weeks to get done) If you shall excuse me, i'm off for a dance around the room in joy. What would make me even more excited is if these 2 series will be made with both Rob Grant and Doug Naylor involved, because we all know how these happen with just one at the helm. Probably be Dave, BBC didn't want anything to do with the re-launch last year.

Indeed, that would be sweet. Play it right after the Consequences* but before Paper Telephone* (*which is something i think needs to be made a new N-E meet tradition) I'm not really a board game person. I have played Scrabble, Pictonary and Mouse Trap in the past. All great games i must add. Probably because there doesn't seem to be anyone around to play games with, except online games that is.

At least the worst didn't happen, which is a relief. Still is a shocker though when you experience this yourself, after hearing about it happening loads of times.

The DLC pack is out Tuesday, quite good for those who love the gang warfare maps. I need to get back into them, been in the free-roam all the time and am getting a bit bored of the hide-outs, could do with a break from them. Plus when i was playing in a gang room, it was a heck of a lot of fun. Shoot-outs and Grab the Bag are great. Anyone up for some later, will probably pop on around 6pm for an hour.

I don't get why countries don't wish to teach about their history, even if it is bad. Britain teaches about WW2 and the bombings of London, and you'll find that (to the best of my knowledge now) Germany teaches about the holocaust.

It's funny you say this, because i was voted out of a Red Dead room along with my mate because we were shooting a group of people on Tuesday night. They liked it being a 5 on 1, before i showed up making it 5 on 2. Then they hated it and voted us out. I know rep means nothing, i just find it funny that all my negative rep is for unsportsman like behaviour.

Xpert 11: Season 14, Fresh Blood and Old Grudges
Jimbob replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
3-0 for Recall, which leaves them top of the league for another week. -
It's a shame, i was looking forward to seeing more Craig as Bond. But i guess it is not to be, well not for a while anyway.

Your favourite arcade games from back in the day
Jimbob replied to lostmario's topic in General Chit Chat
I remember playing Daytona and Turtles whenever i saw them in the arcade, don't recall playing much else. To be fair, i didn't go to the arcades much. More of a console gamer. I did play Sega Rally as well though And also Time Crisis. -
I'm not too fond of Canned Laughter, but if it is a laughter track recorded from the audience then it is perfectly ok in my opinion. Canned laughter is just a way for the producers to encourage you to laugh, which works occasionally for me but not too often.
-
I havn't got any plans for purchasing any FPS's over the next few months, to be fair none of the above interest me as of yet.
-
I know Red Dwarf tried it on the DVD extras with 3 episodes from season 7, no laughter track at all. Didn't work too well that. Then again with Back to Earth, no laughter track but there was less of a pause between gags. Which worked better in my opinion. It does depend on how the producers make the show, if it is meant for a laughter track then put one in.

Rockstar have released an update, an Anti-Griefing update. Apparantly, it will stop people who consistantly spawn-kill you. And will give you the option to spawn elsewhere if they do this.

I'm sparing myself the opening, don't want to spoil it. Lionhead and Microsoft have released a "Villager Creator", and if you have a pre-order code you can add your created villager to the actual game. Apparantly, the villager comes with a quest and 1,000 gold. No word as of yet if the UK pre-orders will allow this to occur

Oh dear, and i thought it couldn't get any worse!!.

M'eh, just as long as it beats the soppy Spidy 3 i don't mind really.
