Born in 1986, don't really remember much as i was only 3 when the 80's ended. But i do listen to a lot of 80's tunes these days, an era i find had the best tunes to be fair. 90's is the decade i really grew up in though. I mean, you had some of the best TV around then. Shows including, and not limited to Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (got crap when they went to Turbo) Mighty Max Kenan and Kel Dinosaurs (yes Dazz and Nolan, cheers for reminding me. Clip at the bottom) Fresh Prince Red Dwarf (it was around in the 80's, but i didn't start watchin til the 90's) The Fast Show Harry Enfield and Chums As i said, not limited to them as i know there are a tonne more to list. Music was pretty ok i thought, at the time it was all Spice Girls and Take That really. All poppy tunes, not that i was moaning back then. It was good stuff. Movies, well yes who can forget Jurassic Park and Home Alone. Goafer mentioned Top Gun, well i remember the spoof pretty well as well. Stars Mr Sheen (not the bloke who is on the polish tins) I could keep going all night, but i won't. However, i will be back with more memories soon. @ Dazz and Nolan

MSN does beat FB chat, which is one of the reasons i stopped using FB chat. Another reason is because it is so flippin buggy and slugs my system half the time, heck FB is all buggy. At this moment in time, i am un-able to post messages properly because half the buttons are missing

I tend to be on MSN, or Windows Live Messenger as it is known as now most of the time. Have a few peeps i chat to, mainly N-E members and possibly a few others. I see it as a way to chat to people without going on the Internet properly as such. Anyone wants to chat to me, look at my profile for my address. I'll accept those i've heard of.

Agreed. And staying at home can be fun (sometimes), just make sure there is enough to keep you entertained (a collection of Arnie movies would suffice)

I don't think it can be called "Rez Daily" if there is a guest doing it. And i'm agreeing with some others here, it is starting to feel like "Comedy Rainbow".

I had a chat with my Dad, he said if the cap isn't enough he will update it for a higher cap usage. But i have to cover the extra cost (be it £5). After doing a search myself, i'm laughing. There are cheaper out there, but hey. They know best hehe And in related news, i have sorted some "temporary" internet out for myself, borrowed a dongle off someone and payed £10 for 3gb access for 30 days. So, i may be on less but i will be around until the proper internet sorts itself out.

As i said, i shall have a chat when i get home tonight. Wolfy is right, BT are scanks when it comes to Internet. The Orange deal we have is cheaper than the deal we are getting with BT, and is unlimited. I know it is up to my parents what to get, but they could consider all the needs and not just their own. Heck, i was told no more XBL as well on the phone.

Sounds good, i will have to have a word with the parents tonight and see what can be done to up the cap. Because i can see it going over consistantly, be it with my X360, mother constantly on FB, me on N-E and FB and my sister consistantly downloading Youtube stuff. It's only £3 more for 30gb more allowance, so i don't see why we can't go up 1 pack. Would keep us all happy, because i'll pay the £3 extra.

Our current provider (Orange) has unlimited download/uploads a month and 4 mg+ speeds., which was great. Only paid £15 a month for that as well. There was nothing wrong with this at all, so i didn't see them needing to change providers (seeing they had sincere problems with BT Broadband the last time they used it, idiots for going back i say). You know the old saying, don't fix what isn't broken. BT ask for £15 a month for a faster speed (which is what they want) but a 10gb cap in exchange for the bigger speed. I heard XBL doesn't use too much (from what people have said anyway), i shall see how the cap usage goes and if it goes over they will have to increase the cap. And i shall repeat the words "told ya so" if this occurs.

Well, i hope it's enough anyway. Otherwise me won't be happy at all, and will ask for unlimited (which i already have enquired about). People say XBL doesn't use too much as 10gb is plenty (that will include usage for PC's as well (mainly mine and the downstairs one).

Going to be getting a capped connection when i move house, parents are insisting that we go to BT for the broadband again. I saw nothing wrong with our last provider, we had unlimited usage internet for around the same price a month (well, i assume it was unlimited usage but i don't know will have to check on that (since providers seem to be capping all but charging more for unlimited access)) Will be getting a 10gb usage limit a month, which begs the question. Will this be enough for playing online games on the X-Box 3 or 4 times a week @ 2 or 3 hours at a time?. I'm not sure on this myself, as i could be getting into a debate with the parents about getting an unlimited usage account.

And when i have moved house next week, my parents are getting a broadband deal from BT with a 10gb* monthly cap usage limit. I said to my Dad that i don't think this will be enough, he said it will be more than enough. Yeah, for anyone not going on XBL to play games. They know i play online, and now he is seeing to it that i don't play online. Which is just flipping great really, see to it that the one person who helps the most gets screwed the most. Nice. (*unless 10gb is enough for XBL (i don't download much, just the occasional patch and maybe a piece of DLC once in a while) If anyone could confirm 10gb is enough for XBL gaming, then i shall be happy and the above rant/paragraph will be void.

I got quite a number of blu-ray disks, and here they are (in the order they are on my shelf) The Wrestler Enemy of the State Quantum of Solace Casino Royale Independance Day I-Robot Ghostbusters Predator Hancock The Forbidden Kingdom Indiana Jones - Temple of Crystal Skull Taken Dumb and Dumber Seven Pounds Commando Shinjuku Incident Yes Man Hitch Hellboy Hellboy II Top Gun Total Recall I Love You Phillip Morris Reservior Dogs Terminator Salvation Rambo (box-set) Still got a few more coming, including the new Prince of Persia (when-ever that comes out). Out of them all, my personal favorite is I-Robot. It just looks so great, the clarity is amazing the sheer detail is immense and all that. I really ought to get a Blu-ray surround sound set-up to really do High Definition justice.

At this moment in time, it is backing up my PC. Something which is well over-due, should be done monthly really. Once it is done, bed is where i shall go.

A new use for cling-wrap. Should keep things fresher for longer really.

Some mornings, could be this Quite a healthy breakfast i must say Other mornings, or if i feel like it really it is one of these The un-healthy option. Not many go on it now-a-days, there are a few people who play per session so you won't be short of gamers. I havn't been on PD for a while.
