  1. "Excuse me, but to have THAT done here will cost £10 more"
  2. Dabs are being funny with my order at the moment, i ordered 2 hours before cut-off for next-day delivery. Order page states 14th for delivery, (i can provide proof of this if needed) so i wait all day and nothing comes up. I e-mail them and i get this back Eh, thats not next day ordering. I payed for delivery for the 14th and now i'm expecting it on the 15th.
  3. If it is possible, can i also take the Robert Cray and Ian Broudie parts as well. Only if no-one else wants them.
  4. If it's ok, could i take a part in the first paragraph 4 person section. As in the whole paragraph with Danny. And the first 3 lines of the next paragraph, only if thats ok though.
  5. Shall get a snap up later, my rooms a tad un-tidy. I blame the lack of someone not building a shelf for the Sky and Blu-ray players Edit: Here we go It's a temp set-up, the blu-ray resting on the printer and the Sky under the TV will be moved onto a shelf (coming soon)
  6. Just as long as none of the big games move over to Kinect-only controls, i shall be happy.
  7. I'm not too fussed really, i do prefer to buy my games "new" anyway. That way they are guaranteed to work, and you are covered in the event it breaks or something. Stores always try and sell you a second hand/used copy because they make more money from the sale of that particular product. It is true, we are not the owner of the game. The creator(s) are the owners, they just sell "copies". These can be classed as licenses to be fair. If this ruling came into effect on video game re-selling, i think quite a few people will be affected. Namely those who just buy cheap to get points, then re-sell. Stores won't be able to make as much money as before, just on new merchandise. Would pawning them be classed as re-selling, because they would be affected as well if this is the case.
  8. 3-1 victory for Recall, back to winning ways.
  9. I remember all the good stuff wasn't in the shop for long, because people were/are like they are on E-bay. Horde the page until the stuff goes on, then mass-buy. I remember looking for the Zelda Collectors Edition which happened to go online upon that site, all copies gone within 2 minutes. And within this time, a mass-increase of them appearing on E-bay for double the price. Never got a copy from NoE, had to go into Game to get one (second-hand obviously)

    Smoking

It varies on how leniant the land-lord is. Some pubs i know allow smoking in the doorway if it is raining, just as long as they breath the smoke outside. Other pubs i know have a strict policy of no smoking in the doorway, prevents people from coming in and out of the place. And doesn't give a good impression either.
  11. Star points, i thought they vanished for good. Some of the items look good, pity they are well out of my region of purchase.
  12. I've had no problems with Dabs or Amazon customer service-wise, both have great service and have been happy to help with any enquiry i've made. Same goes for GAME as well. E-buyer has good service, well they have for me anyway. Some of the worst i've had was from E-bay, which surprised me. Somebody said i sold dodgy stuff and e-bay threatened me, and were not in any-way going to listen to my case. I did go to shut my account down, but it got refused until i payed something like £150 back to the guy who put claims down for dodgy stuff, even though the item page stated "no refunds" and payed e-bay for something.
  13. It's only dropped this past week since getting the new internet router. It can never keep a signal above 1 bar (out of 4). It worked fine at the old place with the router there (3 or full-bar signal strength). I'm sure it is fine if i used a different router, but the one we have all new and requires new adaptors to get a stronger connection. Old ones don't seem to be able to hold a strong enough connection Had the current one 3+ years, since the first 360 i had. No real problems with it, except NAT problems but they were router-based. New adaptor is "N" compatible, which is what my router is.
  14. Freaky isn't the word to use, i say it is more like "borked" to be fair.
  15. I've had to buy a new wireless adaptor for my 360, turns out the one i have isn't picking up a good signal (if any) from the router we have. It would have meant expenditure, but lucky for me on this one. Amazon charged me for a service i don't use, so i got a refund on that (Prime, £50 a year). Ain't costing me a penny for it, and it should work. Getting one of them "Wireless N" adaptors.
  16. Some stuff i regret liking, but somehow i do
  17. 2-2 draw yesterday, not a bad start to the season. And i'm still in a press-release arguement with Phoenix, i'm only continuing because it is funny.
  18. Congrats are in order dude.
  19. I'll give it a go, and i shall think of some ideas as well.
  20. First episode i seen in a while, i have to agree with how crap the BBC is getting as well. They have replaced Christine with a clone of Christine, thank the lord they havn't replaced Adrian with a clone either.
  21. True, but not everyone probably wishes to see it though.
  22. You could have spoiler/quote tagged that.
  23. I've learned to always have some money saved somewhere for an "emergency", that was after i learned the hard-way that money is needed for life. I did scrape by a few times in my earlier years, namely when i had £50 to last a month (that was before house-keep and stuff). Usually had £20 to last.
  24. I don't name anything, except the pet. And i don't even call her by the name we gave her half the time.
  25. Forgot, i have one of them Megazords as well. Used quite a bit, and no box. Also have the Dragon-zord (again, used no box). And the White Tiger-zord, Red Dragon and Trojan-zords (Trojan has a box). Damn you Rez, thought it wouldn't happen to me again.
