Can't be doing with work tomorrow, so booked the day off. Except it got rejected, so booked an early finish instead. If it goes through, Merry Christmas indeed!!. And my Christmas viewings have arrived, 6 seasons of Home Improvement direct from Germany. Ordered a DVD for my sister at the same time using Amazon's UK site, whilst i ordered my DVD's from Amazon's German site. Both arrived at the same time. Which is more convieniant. Edit: As i wrote the above, my early finish came through. I'm happier now.

I'll thank it on your behalf.

You could do what i do, and hope the youth team pops someone in who is decent. Thats where some of my players have come from, and where i will be looking first to replace a retiring player at the end of the season. I gave up last season, all them losses in the league. I know my target was to survive, and i failed. My target this year is to remain in the middle league and develop a few players before striking back to the top league again.

I had prayer and hymns whilst in Primary school, and did R.E whilst in the SAT area of the comprehensive. R.E was compulsory and had to be chosen on the options we had for GCSE. Where-as, i didn't put it down along with a few others and did something else instead. The R.E teacher was one of them funny ones, she gave detention and put a few kids on report who said they were athiest. 1 kid got kicked out of school after throwing a board eraser at her whilst shouting "where's your god to protect you now?" I don't think religion is bad, i don't like to be forced to study something that i don't particulary want to study. I'm not an athiest, was born a Christian and i'll die one. Had to attend church when i was a kid, but stopped going once i was 13.

Vista is the worst Windows i've used. End of. People i give advice to on purchasing new computers with 64bit W7, i always advise them to get 4gb RAM as standard. It is more than enough to sustain your computer and allow sufficient computer usage, even as far as using graphic/video-editing software. The 64bit O/S will use 2gb RAM to run itself as standard, so the more RAM you have extra, the better the system will perform. I'll need to check my computer, see if i can up the RAM higher than 4gb (which is currently has). Or even purchase a new computer for myself, mine has started having issues (it is over 6 years old now). It's quite interesting that i purchased my computer 6 years ago with Windows Vista pre-installed with factory parts built-in, with it now running Windows 7 64bit and many of the parts have been replaced with better (graphics, dual-core processor, 3.5gb extra RAM). I had an issue yesterday when the resolution changed by itself. I'm guessing it could be a graphics card issue, they have crashed a few times in recent weeks. Oh well, i could just get a new base-PC instead.

Nearly accomplished 50 waves of Horde on Insane last night. Made it to wave 41 before we all died and the host decided to leave. If i didn't have work, i would have re-started myself.

On the subject of NHS prescriptions, thankfully living in Wales where they are currently free. Havn't the worry of forking out for a prescription, which doesn't seem bank breaking at least. Councils take the mick when sorting things out for you, but when it is the flip-side of the coin, they are quicker than a rabbit with dynamite up it's arse. Hopefully, things will be sorted for you all having issues with the council, on the good side btw. Freezers giving the Murray a cold, that is indeed worrying. Never had a cold this close to Christmas, and i don't intend to have one before Christmas either. Thought i was close to having one last year, but luckly avoided one. And thought i was getting one on Monday, but that dribbled away into nothing as well. Best advice, sweat it out if you can. Or take some Nurofen Cold and Flu tablets, they work wonders. Pharmacy only ones.

Or do they Still, the NHS is good. Yes it does need more public money to improve. But, i like how we get "near" free health-care. People say they've had bad experiences at hospitals and dentists, but i've not had a bad experience at all. I've felt comfortable knowing i'm being taken care of by professionals.

Leave It To The Americans To Declare War On Themselves
Jimbob replied to Emasher's topic in General Chit Chat
Well, i'll be damned. If i was American, i would qualify as a terrorist. Because i have more than 1 weeks food in my house. I believe most of us would qualify to be fair. -
I was young, so only recall a few names myself. A lurker as it were, so didn't really focus on remembering names to be fair.

Have fun. I've been to the O2 a few times, first time when it was the ill-fated "Millenium Dome". And most recently (ok, 2 years ago) to see an Egyptian exibition courtasy of O2 themselves.

Does anybody need help in what to get people? Yes, i always need help every year. I never know what to get anyone, so i have to ask other people as to what to get people. I'm ok when it comes to purchasing for my Mum and/or Dad, but everyone else i've got no chance really. What are you getting for Christmas? I have no idea what i'm getting, that will be the surprise on the day. What are you hoping you get for Christmas or what do you want? I have asked Santa for 2 books, 2 comedy DVD's and the new Clarkson DVD. As for what else, that is unknown until the 25th to be fair. What are you getting other people for Christmas? What i have purchased for people is a gift card each. I have also made purchases in addition to these, Twiggys CD for my Dad. Inbetweeners movie for my Sister. I'm relying on my Mum for something for my Nan. As for my Mum, i got no chance this year. So she's got a box of chocolates and £30 M+S vouchers.

Good Luck flamey, Rome is a great city and a great city for proposing as well. Enjoy!!

I was expecting someone to say this : peace:

Braveheart is one of them movies you need to see, even if you only see it once. Because of the length of this great movie, it is hard for me to find the time to watch it these days. Love his "revenge against the English" after the leader in the area attempted to rape his wife, then decided to kill her. Wallaces "No Mercy" killing spree was great.

Had a nice multiplayer session in "Hardcore Deathmatch". Basically, nothing but Shotguns and Snub pistols. Happened to be on the Locust team, with us all being General RAAM. The Cog team all Cole Train. Made for an interesting night indeed, especially on the Thrashball level. No-one dared get the weapon under the scoreboard because i was always ready to fire it down onto unsuspecting persons. Still, going to give the pack a thrash tonight.

Probably some last minute things for Christmas, not for myself though. As i work in the city, probably be asked to get some stuff in for everyone else.
-
Shocked to say the least, but not surprising really. Perhaps now the North and South can put this war behind them
-
Jeez, who ain't heard of Braveheart. That is one heck of a movie. Anyway. Christmas shopping is all done now, so made a purchase which should get here by 2012. 5 seasons (imported) from Germany of "Home Improvement". £50 (inc postage)

I'm getting used to it, it is a good improvement i don't mind saying so.
-
Downloading the pack now, it's taking the mick.

From what i've heard, Arnie has a bigger, more purposeful role in the new movie. Be it as he ain't the Governator no more. It does look pretty good from what i've seen and heard so far.

Had a few minutes on it last night, before i fell asleep. Is it me, or does Sonic sound like he's on something when he jumps??. Got to get used to the controls a little, keep forgetting "A" isn't rev.
