I generally don’t play with randoms as it always takes ages to find a decent group of players, I’d rather be doing quests in that time instead. There still seems to be quite a lot of people who don’t like playing alongside Prowlers too. Having said that, I did actually do a few online hunts with some randoms last night, a couple of which were ok. But yeah, I’d much rather play with a group of players from here. Definitely up for some post-MK League hunting tonight BTW. I taught my cat some new cool tricks yesterday!

WTF!? You mean to say that armour you were using yesterday (with over 900 defense ) isn’t fully upgraded? Absolutely crazy! I hope there’s some insane gear like that for Prowler too, although it’d almost certainly involve switching to a protect type as well. Think I’m gonna start training one of those soon though.

@S.C.G & @Ugh first aid, you’re both showing as unavailable now. Think I’m gonna call it a day anyway, thanks for hunting though! You too @Hero-of-Time, was fun!

Thanks for the help. I would’ve liked to hunt with you longer, but someone called me halfway through that last quest, at which point my hunting ability became severely impaired. Congrats! This battle sounds pretty awesome, looking forward to seeing it.

I just attempted that quest for the first time (solo + Palicoes)... failed it. Anyway, will give it another try tomorrow.

Credits have just rolled. 25 hours played (225 and 1 minute including 3DS ) and I’m still only at 39% overall completion. Amount of content in this game is bonkers. BTW, @Hero-of-Time I’m afraid you’re probably going to hate the ending.

Oh man, can't stop laughing! I obtained some new gear for my Prowler, and it is hilarious!: Just did my 8* urgent using it, and was crying pretty much the entire time! The end of that hunt was awesome as well... Tail cut, followed by the monster landing directly in a trap that one of my Palicoes had set earlier on in the fight! Set him up perfectly for an easy capture. Check it out: Look at his little legs going in the air! I completely lost it at that. I love this game.

Ah so you did receive them, I wasn't sure as the game doesn't really confirm it. BTW, this: also applies for me. I'm totally cool with hunting anything at any rank. Like I said before, I'm just grinding levels for my cat (still got a long way to go to Lv.99) so it's all good. Anyway, here are some of last night's shenanigans:

Hehehe. I'm not too fussed about folders, but definitely agree that some kind of messaging system is long overdue now. If it's not part of the next system update (which is looking to be the case) then I'm guessing it will be a feature of the updated online app once the paid service goes live next month. That, or it's something they can add to the Switch later on without the need for a firmware update. I just cannot believe that Nintendo will start charging for online play but not provide some type of rudimentary communication feature, especially when it's something that existed on 3DS, Wii U and even Wii!

Yeah, it would be good if they also released the software digitally or as a stand-alone physical release, for those that don't necessarily want to build/own the Toy-Con, but still want to play the game. I personally love the building process of the Toy-Con, but am not so keen on the size of them and therefore the amount of space they require to store. That's the main thing putting me off from picking up the Vehicle Kit (and any other potential kits) right now, I don't really have the space for it all. I'd much prefer smaller Toy-Con (even if they were more fiddly to build) as they would then be a lot easier to keep.

Bet you're happy about those at least. The profile icons are nice, but it would be way cooler if we could create custom ones via screenshots in the album. I'm sure they could somehow limit it to PEGI 12 games in order to avoid anything unsuitable being used, and it would allow for more personalised and unique icons.

It does indeed. Much better (and more varied, ironically ) than the Variety Kit, which I actually lost interest in pretty quickly outside of doing the builds.

Yep, think I unlocked it by doing some of the single player key quests. You need those coins earned in G Rank (and materials purchased from the girl in the Hunter's Pub) in order to use it though. And yeah, 3 sets of custom chat/shout-outs is very cool indeed. Just checked my friend list and it doesn't have anything on your page (no online since, or game info) you're just listed as offline. Are you sure you didn't set your status/profile to private? That would also explain why I hadn't noticed that you were playing this. Anyway, MK League tonight but is anyone up for some post-MK hunting at just after 9pm?
