Yeah, probably the bitrate, so have a look in the settings and increase it if possible.

Uncharted Collection and Just Cause 3 are my only dead cert day 1 purchases from that list. Do want to check out Tearaway as well, but seeing as it clashes with Super Mario Maker will get it at a later date. Other day 1 buys for me this year (I hope ) are The Tomorrow Children and Yakuza 5 on PS3. How about you @Hero\-of\-Time? I imagine most of those titles will be heading your way.

Played some Tower Control for the first time yesterday, way more fun than Splat Zones! Matches can indeed be over very quickly, which is great when you're on the winning team (fast points/cash) but obviously not so great on a losing streak. It would be better if they adjusted ranked mode so that you at least got some points/cash when on the losing team.

More arcadey, so if you're as skilful as me you too can enjoy moments like these: without needing to worry about the car.

I reckon the 30 posts per day limit is fine, especially as it doesn't include those made while in-game. Don't think I've made 30 non-game posts on Miiverse since I started using it, let alone in a single day!

So it looks like amiibo functionality was a mistake on that early eShop listing. It's not mentioned in the manual or any reviews, and I took a look at the current eShop page yesterday and it's not on there now either. Shame. It would have been cool if it unlocked lessons for drawing each character.

Disc version or digital? Don't think it makes a difference on PS4 though as the games get fully installed regardless. Thankfully I only got stuttering like that during the main game on one occasion when gliding above the city. I might replay the Harley mission tonight, see if it happens again.

Indeed. That's been at the very top of my handheld wishlist for a long time now. Don't think it's gonna happen anytime soon though, unless we go back to monochrome, which I actually wouldn't mind. Seriously, think I've mentioned this before, but I would love a modernised version of the Game Boy with an E Ink/Kindle style screen. The anti-glare on the top screen of the XL is pretty good, still miles away from providing an acceptable level of clarity in direct sunlight though unfortunately. Anyway, as for the topic of New 3DS, I was always suspicious that it could end up being low on exclusive content, so chose not to upgrade. Having said that, I did expect for there to be at least a few more N3DS exclusives on the way. As it stands though, I'm more than happy with my 3DSXL. Managed to make G Rank solo on MH4 without the C stick, and the extra load times on certain software and Miiverse restrictions don't really bother me.

I'd completely forgotten about DLC for this game... again. Definitely want to get my hands on the enormous Ham Hammer.

Did the Harley mission last night. Man, you weren't kidding about it being short! Was pretty cool though, I like her version of detective mode. Got some weird stuttering occasionally during that mission though, you notice any of that on your playthrough? Also did the 3 Scarecrow driving missions. Again very short, but enjoyable enough. Was expecting it to be really hard after seeing the disclaimer about "high difficulty content", but it was a piece of piss! The trophies are so messed up on this game, you get a silver for that and the Harley mission, but way more challenging parts from the main story (like the cloudburst tank boss) get you bronze!

You tried scanning amiibo in a different game or the system settings? Just to check nothing's up with the NFC reader on your GamePad.

Hit the credits on Yoshi and Batman, still lots to do on both though. Wooly World was an absolute joy to play, although it fizzled out a bit in the later stages. And Arkham Knight was also a great experience, despite a few frustrating sections. I think the most memorable part of that game for me will always be this:

Finished the story on this now, finale was just a bonkers as I was expecting it to be. Still lots to do before reaching 100%, not sure I've got the patience for the Riddler stuff though. Anyway, great game. But my opinion on the Batmobile definitely changed, and despite initially loving it, the Batmobile did eventually get a bit tedious. I'm still glad it was included, and driving around or using it for puzzles was great, it's just the forced combat sections (especially in the later stages of the game) that kill it really. Just remembered that I haven't checked out any the free DLC yet, apart from the 60's Batsuit. Anyone done the Harley/Scarecrow missions yet?

Credits rolled on this yesterday. Really enjoyed it, but have to say I much preferred the earlier worlds. Not sure exactly why, but towards the end of the game it kind of lost its charm a little bit. Apart from the awesome...
