Downloaded this on PS4 last week after hearing about the upcoming Switch version. Figured I might as well check it out in advance, see what it's like and also get a reference point to then judge the quality of the Switch port. Anyway, I played my first match last night and yeah... it's basically Overwatch, which is a good thing (obviously ) but it's Overwatch without the polish of Overwatch, which is not so great. Having said that, it is free, so gotta cut it some slack. Also, I seem to be better at this than I ever was at Overwatch, which is another bonus. In fact, I got Play of the game err... I mean, Top Play on my very first match!:

Looks AMAZING!! Definitely going to be worth the wait. This'll no doubt be the game to get me playing (and hopefully enjoying) a story-driven RPG again.

Forget the Splatoon 2 World Championship...

Rocket League: Gibraltar Edition. Anyway, we need to get some Rumble games going the next time we play, it's a blast! The addition of power-ups (like being able to make the ball stick to your car, or kicking other players out of the way) is absolutely fantastic. And it turns the already unpredictable Rocket League into even more of a chaotic mess! Perfect for those that enjoy super crazy gameplay. Spiky car shenanigans: Assisted scoring: Think I'm going to be playing this mode almost exclusively from now on. Brilliant stuff.
