Didn't see that coming!? I don't know the character but looks interesting.

Yeah, I had a potion that saved me. Was a bit unlucky and got caught between some tentacles and small fry that almost got me. It truly is gorgeous, and the sound is great. The theme song reminds me of Gummi Bears.

Played Monster Boy for a bit more than an hour today. It seems utterly great and very true to it's inspiration.

Finally got enough candy to evolve my Scyther and am thus on to the final part of the Meltan quest. Only need to catch an Omanyte/Kabuto and a Lileep/Anorith so I hope that's possible soon. Managed to walk more than 50 km last week but the reward for doing so was so bad that I won't try to do that again on purpose. I got 5 Ultra Balls, 10 Great, 20 ordinary, a 5 km egg, and 500 Stardust. There was a Torchic in the egg so not even anything interesting there. Had at least hoped to get the 10 km egg with a Shinx or Riolu. I really want a Riolu so I can get my Lucario. Psyched about Trainer Battles and especially happy that you can battle Ultra Friends and Best Friends from anywhere.

I'm getting Monster Boy for review once I get home from vacation. Guacamelee 2 will probably be my Christmas game. Gris, it looks good but I'll wait for reviews. And then Smash is already downloaded, just waiting for it to be playable. I'll get up early Friday morning to play a little before the rest of the family gets up.

Great game to buy for my Christmas holiday.

Perhaps they would fit a movie better than a book then? Not that I think this trailer made the movie look particularly good, though. Something off about it. And didn't really like the way Artemis walked towards the screen in the end, looks weird. I enjoyed the first couple of books when I was a young one. Especially translating the glyphs in the bottom of the pages was great fun the first time.

Boss Monster is a great game that works for 2-4 players. It scales for the number of players and it works great. Can vouch for Ticket to Ride as well. The Northic edition is best for 2 players but don't know if that is available to you. I find the other boards rather big for two players.

It's a very tightly knitted together Metroidvania with some really great combat and high difficulty - but it's fair. The world is also very cleverly put together with just enough tidbits about it here and there. Furthermore, it's meaty, I spent 40-50 hours on the main story and never got bored of it, just looking around and trying to figure out how to do stuff. It's just truly a remarkable game - but it starts a bit slow and only really picks up after 5-8 hours, I think.

So.. that second Nintendo Direct we were supposed to have here in November? It must fall this week, perhaps Wednesday or Thursday, I guess.

No real problems here as well. I do experience a slight lag at times when changing direction (180 degrees) and sometimes my character starts walking instead of runnning. I'm on my way to the seventh gym now, I haven't caught so many Pokémon and my team sucks. I can't trade and evolve my Kadabra and Golem becuase I don't have online subscription. I have only found some "OK" and "Good" Pokémon because I can't be bothered chain comboing looking for the good ones and I haven't found a good place to do this yet. My team is Pikachu, Primeape, Arcanine, Kadabra, Venusaur and Graveler, all around level 45-50.

I know. But this game is rather different on a number of points so actually thought this was the case here - also since catching is a bit different and grants every Pokémon the same amount.
-
Ah, I see. I thought the EXP was equal no matter what but that is only from catching. Well then.
-
Why bother having the other one in front? Everyone gets the same amount of EXP, regardless of them being in battle or not so you can just have PIkachu in front all the time to take out 90 % of the trainers in the game.
-
If you have some Premium Passes, you can do more each day. I have 9 in my Bag so I'll just do them ASAP over the weekend.
-
Oh. Bummer. :/
-
It's enough to just enter the raid (i.e. give it your Raid Pass). So you can just enter it and go out of it 10 times, I think.
-
It works with non-Shiny? Then I'll bet my money that it's the shiny nature of the Charmander that causes the game to break. Can you try other shinies (that you don't mind losing)? DLC for a Pokémon game?
-
Are you playing two players by yourself for that to work? Does that grant more Exp? Do you plan getting all 150 Pokémon to level 100?

Ugh. This Special Research is easily the worst one yet. I thought having to use 108 Berries to catch Pokémon was tedious but at least it was doable within reasonable time. For this one, I had to find a Ditto by finding a Field Research which took me three days to find, I have to evolve a Scyther later on and only have 13 Candy for that and I don't see any Scyther in the wild, and then I have to catch an Aerodactyl, which is found by finding a Field Research. If you don't find that Field Research before it's gone, you can not complete this Quest. Furthermore, if you don't get it done before the Kanto event ends, finding some Anorith, Omanyte, Kabuto, Lileep, Slugma, Gulpin, Grimer etc. is going to be a pain. I'm up to step 4 which is easy enough - find some Magnemite and walk 12 km to get the remaining 4 candy for my buddy Lotad.

Bought that Magikarp as well. I have not spent much money in the game as I keep getting PokéBalls from battles and thus, I have just bought some revives and potions.

Starlink: Battle for Atlas (do a barrel roll!)
MindFreak replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Found the Switch starter pack of this for the equivalent of £35 and tempted to buy it. But with it already hitting that price, I suspect it will be even cheaper in January.
