  1. James Gunn on Suicide Squad is the right decision. But it's a shame that he doesn't continue with the same cast. They were not what was wrong with that movie.
  2. Stop being pedantic. The point is that there is no drought and games are coming out. They may not be to your taste all of them but neglecting them on that behalf is just plain ignorant. By that argument, all consoles experience long droughts. Getting an exclusive game for the Switch on average every second month is just fin, and yes, we had some ports this past year, and those of us that had a Wii U and played those games may perceive that as a drought but still not a software drought. There are lots of games coming out on the eShop, though many of those are of course ports of other games. Still, they are coming and you can't blame anyone that you don't pick them up on Switch (unless they are more expensive there).
  3. They only mention the 10 best-selling games and Xen9blade 2 has been thrown out of that list.
  4. There's not enough sex in Animal Crossing. In general.
  5. They hoped to sell 20 million Switch units in the period from April 2018 to March 2019 (both months included).
  6. New sales numbers, games: Console: https://nintendoeverything.com/nintendo-financial-results-nintendo-fy3-2019-q3-switch-at-32-million-units-total-forecast-lowered-to-17-million/
  7. Nintendo's forecast for units sold has gone down from 20 million to 17 million. Sales numbers are out now: Games: Console: https://nintendoeverything.com/nintendo-financial-results-nintendo-fy3-2019-q3-switch-at-32-million-units-total-forecast-lowered-to-17-million/
  8. I agree with Ashley, have you told them that there is this thing? It shows a lot of good qualities about a person if they want to see something through before changing jobs, commitment, passion etc.
  9. If you hadn't spent a year doing that, it may have taken longer for you to pull it off on Switch. Sure, it's probably easier but it requires training and overall, the training from previous versions extends to Ultimate.
  10. I really didn't enjoy Yooka Laylee much. It just felt clumsy and overall not fun. I didn't mind it being old-fashioned, it just didn't handle very well. It had it's moments, though.
  11. In 10 years, the well of ideas may have been filled again. After all, it was Retro themselves that pitched the idea of MP4 to Nintendo.
  12. I didn't mind the breakable weapons but I think they broke a bit too fast and it sometimes left you with just about nothing to get rid of the enemies long enough to escape.
  13. If it's out here in the beginning of February, it has virtually no competition, and given the genre it only has Yooka-Laylee to compete with so I think it'll do just fine. I'm looking forward to it and will definitely get it at some point. If not to play the game, only to support the local game developers (they are from Denmark).
  14. Local multiplayer on one Switch is amazing, though.
  15. That's right, there was GDC or something like that. I still believe we'll see something next week as Nintendo of America didn't retweet the announcement of the Indie Highlights and don't have the video on their Youtube account. They do, however, have each trailer there so there's that... The developers also made Rayman Legends so it makes sense.
  16. Last time, in August, the indie highlights was on August 20th, Nindie Showcase (US) was on August 28th. So if it happens (and why shouldn't it?), it could take place as early as next week.
  17. Oh, forgot, but Inmost looks really good. Here is that montage at the end:
  18. Wargroove out February 1st Crosscode looks good. Steamworld Quest announced - RPG card game set in the SteamWorld universe. That's about it.
  19. First official European tournament has been announced!
  20. New indie highlights tomorrow at 15.00 CET!
  21. Also, if the price on one eShop is half the price on another eShop and it sells twice as well on the first eShop because more people can afford it / are more willing to afford it, then the publishers don't really lose money on it.
