I agree that the price is too high but you should rather look at it as a game that comes with some cardboard controller peripherals. And each peripheral has at least 2 games in the Variety Kit as far as I could read. I don't know about the Robot Kit but surely there is some more "advanced" game right there. I see these games as equivalent to Wii Play. Sadly, I don't think this will be much fun in the long run but then Nintendo can release more games and sell more different cardboard cutouts.

There should be a separate topic for this. Revealed in a short video January 17th 2018. Pricing is at $69.99 for the Variety Kit and $79.99 for the Robot Kit. Includes software and several cardboard pieces and the materials needed for building the stuff. Variety Kit: Robot Kit:

I haven't met the Gold cylinders yet. But I did do some perfect button presses on some Silver and it didn't show up. This is totally RNG, unfortunately.
-
I don't think it's something major if it's Japan only, unfortunately.

I'm doing some side-quests before heading to Mor Ardain and I came across a sidequest that split into four different ones in Torigoth. One of them requires me to salvage for a Morph Orb. I spent 8 tries and ran out of cylinders and still haven't found it - you would've thought that they had increased the likelihood of finding one when that mission is active but alas.

Weird decision. Hopefully this is just one person in customer service that does not know about future plans.

My wife wants to lose the weight she gained during her pregnancy last year (about 10 kgs) so she bought into some bootcamp thing for newly moms. It's working fine for her and she's doing a great job - the bootcamp doesn't really restrict her eating just saying that she should stick to one portion for supper and for a few days avoid sugar and wheat. She's now on day 7 without sugar and wheat and doing nicely! It's for a period of 4 weeks. She has added some more food that she should avoid - empty carbs. In support, I also stay off sugar at least - I may eat some carbs like bread and rice (though I generally don't eat much of that anyways). I'm at day 9 without sugar other than a glass of juice the other day, and I can actually see the difference. I'm still 68 kgs I think but I look tighter again. I can also relate to the ego-thing. Since getting a child my strength and fitness in general have taken a hit and I'm now just in fine shape, contrary to one year ago where I was in really good shape. My lifting has also gone noticably down, had a hard time with 6x60 kgs front squats today.

But racism is demeaning the people because of their skin-colour or "race" (I don't like to destinguish between white, black, and Asian people by using the word race as they are all the same race), thinking that you are above them. In this instance, he said "Why do we get people from shitholes like Kenya and Haiti and not from countries like Norway". Norway is an developed country, Kenya and Haiti are not and that's what (I believe) he's referring to. I agree that he is belittling the people in the other countries and they have every right to be angry. I just don't see it as racism at all, more of an insult to those countries in general, the population being black or white doesn't change anything. Funny thing, it's the very quote from UN that I disagree with.
-
Noone of importance should use that word about other countries. That's just bad manners. However, I do get what he means. And I hate that others think it's racism. It's clearly a statement regarding the general state of those countries, education, infrastructure, mentality, and nothing about the skin colour of the people.

The Direct was worldwide and since Japan already has the game it probably wasn't worth showing in this setting. That's my thoughts at least.

Coming to Europe on March 23rd. Trailer with English voices: An amiibo will also come out, big as hell. Source https://www.pokemon.com/uk/pokemon-news/crack-the-case-with-detective-pikachu/

Star Fox with and ordinary control scheme would perhaps be a possibility.

There aren't many games left for Nintendo to remaster so I think and hope they are hard at work making new ones. I'll probably spend more time with indie games this first half of the year but that's fine with me. Xenoblade 2 is still on for me for weeks to come.
-
Easy now, there will be more titles to play this first part of 2018. Not everything can or should be be crammed into a Direct (especially not one lasting 15 minutes). And while Dark Souls for instance is a port, it's a port of a game that never hit a Nintendo console before. TWEWY is a port and remaster of an old game. Yes, porting Wii U games is a bit cheap for Wii U-owners, especially when there is nothing added (DKCTF adds nothing at all - Funky Kong is easy mode) but there were also some new things, and Kirby releases way sooner than expected.
-
Well, to be fair this seems like it's only part of the content they are going to bring to Switch during the spring. Nothing here reached out further than May. Though the amount of remasters was disappointing to previous Wii U-owners, the Direct itself was really good with a nice rythm and speedy announcements. I'll probably only dip into Fe of the lot.

Yeah, I've also wondewred about that. It seems weird that they don't just cut off the battle before you win it. That happened a lot to me as well at some point where I was just having Rex on my team. Remember you can pick out an enemy by clicking R and then D-pad down to throw a rock at it.
-
That's actually interesting. But I hope not. I rather hope they announce it for tomorrow afternoon. Fits me better.
-
Haha, I love it. But I also hate that they haven't announced it yet.
-
Well, this is awkward:
-
Oh, I thought cancelling auto-attack was using Specials right after the attack hits. Now you're saying there something more? So just a little flick with the control stick right after the attack connects? Gotta try that later on.
-
It seems that we at least can expect something to be announced soon. According to this tweet from Nintendo of Russia: From NintendoLife http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/01/nintendo_of_russia_appears_to_confirm_incoming_nintendo_direct
-
Well, yet another 4PM CET came and went and no Direct was announced.
-
Auto-attack was frustrating at first but now I'm glad that I don't have to mash the button all the time. Sometimes I can actually take a sip of my coffee while battling. And you can cancel the auto-attacks a little later on and unleash more powerful attacks. So yes, it does make sense.
