Would you perhaps say that, personally, you prefer the air?

It's worth noting that of all the Alphadream employees that worked on the Bowser's Inside Story remake, the majority of the ones we know of are now at ILCA. So I imagine this is more of an educated guess. Here's where they all are based on looking at the credits of games after BiS.

Fun coincidence, I bought it too. Haven't started it yet, mind. But I bought it because of H-o-T's write up in the Gaming Diary thread. Developers might have to start paying him for advertising at this rate.

I held off on my thoughts of last week's episode, what with it being the standard two-part finale.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: N64 & SEGA Mega Drive (& GBA!!)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
If that's an issue, then I know @Dufniall's time zone means he's usually up for stuff a couple of hours earlier. And provided it's Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, I'm free all day. We can make it work. Hell, I suck at Perfect Dark. Could always use a Co-op buddy. -
Time matches tonight from 7:30pm.

Feel like you're underselling the NSO version. Because you can play it online, which is a huge deal! The randomness feels cheap when playing with computers, but with 3 other people, it adds to the funny. That said, 2 and 3 are far better due to the items, which add a much needed element of strategy. Also Bumper Balls sucks. If 2 people are even remotely competent, the game will end in a draw every time! Don't believe me? Ask S.C.G, BowserBasher, or Dcubed. Awful minigame!

If you bite, you have to join us for some Four Swords some time. Seriously, it's mad fun! Anyway, congrats to @S.C.G for gazumping me at the end there. He's learning how to be a jerk and I'm very proud of him. Anyway, now that we've played a couple of games, I'll give you a tip that might help you live a little longer. If you get the Master Sword in A Link to the Past, you can shoot Sword Beams at full health in Four Swords. It's relatively easy to get that, and you better believe I'll be doing so for next week. -

15 minutes heads up for @BowserBasher and @S.C.G. -
Not a usual post from me. I just need to vent. Seriously, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, you need to chill! It's only Hard difficulty and you're throwing literally hacked units at me!? The embed is bugging out. Clicking on that should get you to the clip. EDIT: And now it's fixed itself. Complaining on the internet always works!

OK, Dazzybee and I are in for another Four Swords session tonight. @BowserBasher, @S.C.G, or anyone else. Is 8:30pm tonight good for you? -
Honestly, coming 3rd in that race was a bloody miracle! Cheers for biting that bullet for me, @Josh64!

Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven (24th October 2024)
Glen-i replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Hold up! So the original difficulty is the hardest one here? And this has an easier option, and an even easier option? OK, now I'm interested. I bounced off the original because of how brutal and obtuse it is, but having two easier options might just be what I need to enjoy it. -

Yeah, takes some getting used to, what with you losing all momentum when you jump. Those 300 rupees I got there made all the difference. By the way, heads up, but if you go to the options on the file select screen, you can speed up the text speed for cutscenes (And also, select "Dark" for brightness settings). Holding B makes it go even faster. Not gonna lie, I was legit proud of myself on the ice boss, when I had an epithany, and utilised the share screen function to show everyone where to aim. That feature is mad useful! Right, got a few moments here. There's a lesson to be learnt from that clip above, no idea what, but I'm sure there is. Such a perfect moment of pure greed being someone's downfall. That's Four Swords! -

Coolio! Just a heads up, we're giving ourselves appropriate names. So I'm Glink, and we have Dink and Sink playing as well. -

@Ike we currently have 3 people for Four Swords after Mario Kart. We need a fourth, you up for it? -
Your connection will only ever be as good as the guy with the weakest connection. Doesn't matter how good your connection is if someone is playing handheld at a McDonald's.
-
Well, I don't know what to say other than it worked fine for me. Were you playing with random people? That would explain a lot.

Player's Choice tonight at 8.

Pretty much nonexistent. It's one of the very few Pokémon games I've not played, thanks to it not releasing in Europe. Ambrella quickly became synonymous with crummy Pokémon spin-offs, so older me never wanted it. It's an interesting premise, but 90's tech just couldn't handle it. @Dcubed is spot on that it would've done better on the DS. BTW, I'm gonna assume that you didn't actually get the ending. Because that requires playing for 365 in-game days, and I'm sure you've got other games to play.

Mario Party Superstars ran like a dream though!
-
I only have a Switch, and HD-2D games always look just fine on that. So I don't really have a choice. Not that I'd want an RPG on anything but a portable, anyway.
-
I'd love to see if anyone here agrees with you. Because I certainly don't. Not with that Final Boss BS.
-
Oh, it is? I'm out then. Denpa Men is bloody hard, which is great, but not when they hover microtransactions over you.

Man, the animation is mesmerising! Definitely got the M&L style down!
