Games should use them over voice acting, it makes the experience more imaginitive.. I hated having to put a voice onto Barrett and Tifa in Advent Children. Also, kids can't read that well these days.. it will only help them improve. I say ditch voice acting for subtitles for ever.

There is a possibility Nintendo will cut a deal with Microsoft to allow the games to be released if there is enough revenue to warrant it. Microsoft would be saying no to free money, and considering there is no life in the old games.. it would do Microsoft no harm. In fact putting the old Banjo games on Nintendo WiFi would probably increase sales of the new 360 version of Banjo that Rare is working on. That's what they did with Metal Gear.. release the originals for the Cube.. get some Nintendorks hooked to the story and get them to buy a 360 and the new one.

The virtual console is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be, there could be some more N64 titles though.. however this is good tbh. We have the PC-Engine and the Mega Drive support, now we need to see the MSX and then we can start complaining about the lack of American SNES muscle. Super Monkey Ball + Wii Sports should keep me through Winter.

My gripe was with the thread title and your attitude mostly. I don't care what people think in shops.. if they think Nintendo make DVD players chances are they haven't ever played games before.

Nobody needs it, but the support of Pro Logic II over optical out is juvenile. When you compare a HD TV to a surround sound system.. the latter is extremely accesible. Bang for your buck surround sound offers a superb immersive experience on the cheap.. and wouldn't be an unreasonable expectation of an average consumer. HD TV however is expensive and not much of an improvement.. so fair play to Nintendo for not supporting it. I can't say I need surround sound, but when you look at how much space it takes on a disc.. the development costs. It would have been nice.

Yeah, if it's going to be Wiimote exclusive I just won't buy it (and be mad) they have to admit that it is flawed for certain games.. even with the steering wheel it'd be shit. It's a very sensitive high speed racer.. Anyway.. I think they're gonna have to do something about Smash Bros. the classic controller doesn't suit the game (simplicity) The director said keep your Cube controllers.. so either they're going to support the Cube and classic controller, or just keep Cube controllers in production. I think there is a high probability they might bundle a Cube controller with it.. or offer an updated Cube controller with bluetooth. I won't play it on the classic controller actually.. they could easily rebrand the controller as a "Smash Bros." controller. The game needs rumble, it needs simplicity and if it's going to be a natural progression from Melee they need to keep it the same for all players to be on an even playing field.

Here it is thus far: The intention is, to have a full scalable pdf that holds all 3 stencil files (layers) individually with some instruction as to how to make your own stencil. I'm thinking if you say paint his hat and his facial hair/arms/feet then his skin would work quite well on any background. But obviously if you want to paint that as well then that's fine.. just needs a bit more allignment. I only really wanted to make this for a little stencil for a plain jumper I have and my skateboards. Just gonna use this thread to document the progress.. which so far is poor. But basically I should be done by tomorrow and have something to show for it. Before I go to the effort of actually packaging it up and writing instructions would anyone be interested? Also does anyone have experience with spray painting clothes? I've heard it can go bad.. I am considering some like acrylic paints and dabbing them on with a sponge but that's less cool.

Not confirmed, apparently if you buy it in Japan the first 500,000 people will get this as a thank you. I don't like the look of it or the layout.. I'll probably use a Cube one, seeing as it will be required for f-zero Wii and Smash Bros. Dojo. I'm hoping they'll bring out a WaveBird plus.. with rumble and working on the bluetooth to ensure people have access to GameCube controllers when the Smash Bros. comes out. Otherwise there will be lots of people without the required controller.

Interesting geekdom (I got into the last season with Tennant) Torchwood was an anagram of Doctor Who used by the producers to stop DVDs, scripts and film reels being intercepted by pirates as they ship stuff around the world. I'm quite excited.. I'm sure it will be a lot darker and cooler. Personally I didn't like the first doctor of the Billie Piper revival.. but Tennant ruled. Looking forward to Christmas new series. BBC3 had Monkey Dust, Little Britain which were pro.. but also a load of shite like Man/Woman.
