  1. Firefox is very secure and advanced.. but the amount of features make it bulky.. and to make it useable you really need to get a lot of plugins as Moria says. Safari doesn't really warrant a review really. It does everything you could want.. and nothing of what the average user does not. No plugins required.. my only qualm is I can't get the Google engine to go to Google.co.uk instead of .com, but it's not a big deal. Basically Safari is the fastest to start up, pretty quick to render and does just about everything like flash and java faster than any other browser on Mac.
  2. I'm going to my midnight launch.. but am I obliged to pay extra for games? Hell no. Order Zelda from Amazon/other online retailers exist.. recieve my game a day early, pick up my console at the midnight launch and set to go. I don't see why going to a midnight launch means you should have to buy every launch game.
  3. Welcome to the club RST. Honestly I don't give a crap what GAME do.. they have 60%+ of the market share.. which they have earned fair and square from buying out EB. They can do whatever the hell they want with it as far as I'm concerned. I'm just enlightening people to the brain washing.. just because one company is the first to confirm.. doesn't mean they're the best to shop with. If you shop around, online for instance you'll get games and accesories cheaper. I don't like the idea of putting all your eggs in one basket. Delivery these days comes next day from major websites.. we're 30 days from the Wii.. what is the point in pre-ordering everything you might want or need when you know it will be there. (console excluded)
  4. Hahahahahahah Results 1 - 10 of about 763,000 for iron maiden cheesy. (0.24 seconds)
  5. ASPLODE. it is pretty ish blud.
  6. YAY A FREE WII PACK WHICH TELLS YOU TO BUY EVERY LAUNCH GAME! WOOT. Screw them, buy the console from a store and get the games/accesories online for £5 less. LIMITED EDITION CARD WOWZA SPEND MORE MONIES. This is all marketing bullshit to empty your wallets with the GAME group before other retailers get their bundles together. Nothing to get excited about.. certainly not warranting a thread.
  7. That could work, at least then I'll be minted. We'll talk closer to the time. I imagine most of your friends will be asking for goodies/iPods etc..
  8. If you have a Mac, use Safari RSS until that fails (on certain websites) then use Firefox.
  9. Nice little box, the OS is very graphically intensive.. where as Macs are functional but not over the top. eg. Expose.. it's 2D so it works fast, smooth and even on laptops. take Aeroglass.. it's 3D, it's incredibly intensive on the first wave of Vista PCs and offers no extra functionality.
  10. HIGH TECH CARBOARD INVITE. WHICH ASPLODES SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT THIS MISSION. DUN DUN DUN DUN! These are mostly going to be kids.. it's difficuilt to sign such agreements under 18 without parental consent.. it's more hassle than it's worth.
  11. I like to play with Luigi.
  12. USB keyboard/mouse.
  13. Someone on GameCentral had a dream yesterday that you had to pay for extra characters in Smash Bros.
  14. You can do that with SNES9x
  15. NDA on a promo day? BULL. CRAP Nobody has been called, blatantly.. because they would have posted it on the internet already.
  16. They don't have the selection, and the big bags are £3 before postage.
  17. OH man that is gonna be freaky handy true blood style. My BBC computer is still running on B discette drives.. i'll finally be able to play my All Saints CD on my computer!
  18. You're joking right? so what candy is better than Jolly Ranchers? I'm talking about the original boiled kind, and maybe the sour boiled ones too. We had them in the UK a few years ago but they never sold that well so they stopped
  19. Hello to you. To American/Canadians: Why you hang out on a European forum is beyond me.. but I know that you exist. Also this applies to anyone who is going to America or Canada in the near future.. or has a good contact there. Can you please buy me some damned Jolly Ranchers? The choice and prices of importing them on eBay is sometimes 500% of their original retail before buying the extortionate postage. I only want 2 or 3 bags.. I'll happily pay costs and postage if applicable. I've Googled it and I'm not willing to pay the prices of CyberCandy.co.uk or eBay importers.. my local American import shop has just shut down. Thanks.
  20. They had a £5000 one in my village at new year.. it costs £25 to get in and all the food and drink was free. Several hundred people came.. apparently it was one of the biggest ever made. Could be heard 10+ miles away I hear.
  21. I'd like a urinal in my bedroom.
