Bit pricey for my liking, do the chips = money at the end of the night? I mean for 80p down Tesco Express you can get a 2 litre bottle of drink, tickets are £5.50 at a typical ODEON.. sweets and crisps are far from expensive. I'll be seeing it Thursday or Friday.

Yes but pressing the electronic eject button on Wii might take you to the Wii Channel menu and close your session unless the game specifically tells the Wii 'we're moving onto disc 2 now' for example.

EVERYONE WHO SAYS MONKEY BALL SUCKS IS AN IDIOT.

Wii Launch Period Racing games, anyone getting any?
Nintendork replied to dannbrownn's topic in Nintendo Gaming
F-Zero, providing they don't support those shitty controls as Miyamoto suggested. Also I expect custom soundtrack support after the attrocious nature of the last one. Mario Kart, providing it's online and fun. Nothing else. -
Progressive advertising is very popular.. for 2 weeks Channel 4 was just advertising a date.. then two weeks before Film Four they started rolling more and more adverts. It kinda gets people in a thinking mood, where as most consumers (mentally) switch off in adverts.

This Sunday is the biggest shopping day of the year before Christmas eve. All consoles launch then, Malls and crap have big promotions.. it's the equivalent to our late night shopping. Why Wednesday? (in our town it is Wednesdays) Tradition. I imagine you'll be able to buy the console that weekend.

Luigi, but I suck.. I'll train hard in the run up to Dojo.

I had the exact same problem, it had a £19.99 new sticker and it was pre-owned. They have square stickers for new games and circle ones for pre-owned with a rectangle on the back sometimes. I made them show me the discs and manual first.. they were good but it's the principle. The box was shitty.

It's not something I've not noted myself.. but I think that generally these people have Sky because their personal life is lacking. It's like saying working class people die earlier.. and manual labour jobs cause stress.. stress induces smoking that results in more bad health. But even when taxes are raised they will still buy them irrespective of the effect it has on their lifestyle. Because it is one of the last few pleasures of the working class. It's tough to compare Sky to smoking.. but even though it may put pressure on the family budget they will still take it.

Are they pulling a 24? Let the poor people enjoy the first 2 seasons.. then put it on Sky so nobody can watch the rest.

You'd probably get a better deal on eBay than what I would be able to pay you. No job still.. just opened another "Sorry" letter from an interview I had last week. I am unemployable.

We are the Jackass generation.. we no longer find You've Been Framed funny (not that it ever was) because we've been desensitised by the shows Jackass and Dirty Sanchez. Slapstick beating up Homer will only appeal to a minority of youths who haven't seen these shows. Unless that are ridiculously inventive- a wrecking ball however isn't. Enter the obligatory "OOOOOLD"

I don't have Sky.. but I imagine it's a better advertising ground for Sony and Microsoft. Seeing as most people who have Sky are better off.. so can afford to pay a premium. I think C4/terrestrial will be Nintendo's biggest advertiser again. Do the kids channels get away with brainwashing the kids anymore? I remember watching Cartoon Network and it would be like "Are your parents around? No? THEN BUY THIS!!!"

Bit bloated. Why not just push A and nuke everything.

Pfft, it's nice but not worth the money. Looking at a sealed copy of Pikmin 2 on eBay for £36 right now. Screw that.

Bandai-Namco Pledges Huge Support [30 Wii Games]
Nintendork replied to Stocka's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Good for the East and Western super geeks. I'm only interested in the unnamed titles as present. not getting my hopes up. Aren't those Gundam games fun? I've only played Armoured Core before and loved it. -
So was the iPod advert: 1,000 songs in your pocket.. some people dancing around. Product shot. Apple logo - drink different. This going out on ITV/4 daytime TV I'll check out King of Queens later?

Only n00bs don't use QuickTime! It didn't make me laugh but I sure do hope it owns the other 3D films competing for half term audiences. I will see it pending reviews.

I would be but my only means of playing it would be to break out the xbox again.. that ain't worth the effort.

Yeah I didn't realise.. Golf I can understand.. because it's not that accesible to everyone, so why not make a decent Golf game. The same applies to a few other simulators such as Gran Turismo.. not everyone can burn around in a Aston Martin. But when we enter into territory where the Wii is encouraging people to play a game instead of doing it in real life.. just because the controller allows it. Then that is stupid, and I can see it happening because people like easy lifestyles, it offers the brain a similar kind of recreation. But offers the body next to nothing. Casual gamers become casual potatoes. Anyway lets save it for another thread in 2 years when loads of bollocks games come out like darts.

It's yours when I'm done. I've had it like 2 months and I've barely played it.. I'll try and complete it this week.

PS3 looks shit on normal TVs with composite, Wii looks shit on a HD TV without the component cable. Not a suprise really.

Lets make software for EVERYTHING that you can do in real life. Thus making real life a thing of the past. and Nintendo completes it's world dominance of making non gamers non livers. This is a joke right? Tap dancing is not expensive or difficult to do in real life.. why would anyone want to do it in a video game? edit. Oh it is not a tap dance simulator merely a game based on the movie about dancing penguins. Let me just execute this penguin..
