If you're on cable the bandwidth is shared between all the people in the building. For example if the connection from the building to the isp is 10Mbps, it doesn't take more than five 2Mbps connections to reach the limit. So if there are more than that using the internet at the same time the speed drops. DSL however shouldn't have that problem. But try the speedtest. And it might not be your connection/computer that has the problem.

Then I suggest you do what Jordan said and if it shows nothing go to the bios to see if the drive is being detected at all.
-
Well it comes with the SP2 so there shouldn't be a need to dl it separately. Update the motherboards chipset drivers etc.
-
Take the cd out and reboot. <--known working solution. If it doesn't open shutdown pc and insert a pin into a small hole in front of the drive. It should open the drive. Then pull the tray out, remove cd and start up the PC
-
A bit more specifics would help. have you recently done anything to the drives? But to see if the computer detects it press delete (or some other key it suggests) on boot and go see if the bios detects the drives correctly. And add new hardware won't work.
-
I didn't... Just said that the automatic updates works even with those. Anyway check the motherboards drivers&utilities cd if there's something there. And then try the mobo manufacturer's website.

Megaman on NES So far nothing has beaten it. FF comes close but I still prefer Megaman. 2 and 3 have the best intro music ever.

Is service pack 2 installed? If I remember correctly USB 2.0 needs an update to work in winxp. It can be downloaded separately, but sp2 is the easier way to get it. So if it isn't turn on the automatic updates. They'll work even if you have a "special"- copy of XP.

There's always a fight between them eh Come to think of it they are probably one of few metal bands from america that I like. For some reason american metal sounds different than european. Then again I don't listen much music... Current number of cd's owned: 0 Current number of cd's bought: 1 (as a present to someone) Current number of mp3's: 0

Haven't actually kept on eye on formula one recently but I remember this from 2000 And formula 1 isn't ever going to be good unless they give all the drivers the same equipment.

Well I would've liked to see him go against Kovalainen next season. But he really was a great racer (and a sort of a cursed name in Finland sometimes ) I hope that he has a happy retirement. But he will probably not give up the sport completely.

Yes I understand what you are saying and while a haven't made the calculations (8bit = 1byte etc) I can say that it should dl stuff at a constant rate. And while other connection that my family has (512KBps) downloads usually 60-70Kb/s (b=bytes) . So same basic math mean this should get 6 times as much on ideal conditions. Thus far the speed has varied between 20kb/s and ~ 380kb/s. But usually is less than 200kb/s. But that's because the cable connection is shared between everyone in this block of flats. Still feels like I'm paying for more that I'm getting. And the packet loss is annoying in internet games.

Some of my favourite songs are by this band. Master of puppets, Enter sandman and Nothing else matters. Great songs. I don't like their newer stuff though. Sounds too soft.

I second that. Oh the memories that triggered

Let me sum up what you have to do. 1.Get an ethernet card. 2.Open PC case. 3.Find a free PCI slot. (it's the white one usually) Put the card in the slot and install the screw that keeps it in place. (It's a good idea to touch the metal casing of the PC as you install the card. To prevent frying some components by static electricity) 4.Close PC case. 5.Install drivers if needed. And I second that what ndreamer said. Can't remember if it was high or full speed that is used in some places. Other is basically 480MBps as USB2 and the other is the 12MBps. And at the very least I can say that cable broadband sucks. I'm paying for 3MBps yet I haven't ever reached that kind of speed. Plus there's constant packet loss.

Mormons... Can't say that i'm particularly fond of that religion. Maybe that's why something did bother me about the movie pretty much.

When I saw this movie I felt the urge to punch napoleon to the face many times. No other movie has triggered this kind of a reaction. It had it's moments but for some reason I hate movies that feel like they're wasting my time. Then again it has broots in it so it came out good overall.

Actually I think that the adds did what they were supposed to do...

Which means that the computer can't connect to the router. The wep key might be wrong or the speed settings might also be wrong. So check that both the router and the pc has the same speed setting. And check the key also. And just to be sure go to the lan settings page of the router and check that DHCP is on. Probably is because your xbox and psp connects but just to make sure. And while you're at it check that there is more than two addresses between the ip pool start and end. For example the if the starting 192.168.2.2 the ending is 192.168.2.5-102. And I suggest that first you try if the connection works with just 64bit WEP. If it does you can try to change it to 128bit WEP. Then try the WPA-PSK. I don't know if the psp supports it though, so you might be limited to just wep. If you're still having problems I suggest that you rtfm http://www.belkin.com/support/download/files/P74559-A_F5D7230-4_man_6-04.pdf And i'm not sure that that manual is correct but seemed that it's close enough. Or just go here: http://www.belkin.com/support/download.asp?cid=6 and choose the correct one.

red bull is just an energy drink. They all pretty much taste the same. Mountain dew is like sprite, but the lime in it has a stronger flavor and it isn't as fizzy. so I would say that you have been missing out
-
Where do they import this stuff? And just in cans? I would guess that if they imported dew from here it would probably be cheaper... But then again the demand would probably be too great and result in some shortages. If it's somewhat popular why hasn't some company obtained the license yet to make/distribute the drink.
-
Just bought one of those And yes it is pretty sweet but as long as you're not drinking it too much it doesn't matter. Local shop only had the 0.5 liter bottle. I would have wanted the 1.5 liter one. It isn't as fizzy as most of the sodas like coke. Which makes it easier to drink. Coke and others sometimes gives me hiccups.

Happy birthday Remember to drink something

Note that the mac address is something that every device that has a network interface has. For example if you have wireless connection adapter and a regular network card, they both have different mac address. And what moria said is generally correct but you need to put in "/all" after the ipconfig. Without the quotes of course. Ipconfig by itself only shows the ip address.
