I'm moving into halls for my first year at Brighton Uni on saturday morning. Scared shitless I've forgotten to buy something vital. I moved out of my parents home three years ago, you'd think I'd have/remembered to buy everything you need to live somewhere. Also, packing. ARGH.

I just beat the game. I clocked in at almost 39 hours playtime (in a two week period!) so there must have been a lot I missed out on doing. It might have been that, or the fact I rushed it, or over-hyped it or whatever - but the game never felt 'epic' the way Symphonia or Final Fantasy VII, IX or X did. I had a great time playing it but I have some mixed feelings about the way it ended.

That's what I tried, with no luck. Extensive googling hasn't helped either, think it's a faulty disk? I assume you are not supposed to see all members of your party at all times in battle after a certain point, right? EDIT: sorry for spamming the thread. I'm so addicted to the game but this is making me want to throw it in the bin. Naff iPhone photos coming up... See what I mean now? Everything is so far away it's impossible to see what you're doing. The game camera is as zoomed in as it can be (pressing X in the battle menu and zooming with the left trigger) 2ND EDIT: The camera has gone back to normal. Weird.

Someone's gotta help me!! I crossed the ocean to the coliseum in Nordopolica, and ever since then the camera in battles has gone bat shit crazy. Its zoomed out so far to show at least the entire party. I've tried zooming in in the battle settings but it's not really having any effect. It's so far away I can't see what I'm doing anymore.

Woah. Untill now I've found the battles fairly easy, but that Dragon thing on Ehmead Hill... I must have used up 10 gels and 4 life bottles fighting it. Level 16. Was I the only one to struggle?

Sorry to wake up a sleeping thread, but I got the game the other day and played the first 2 hours today. Really enjoying it so far, but how long till the storyline kicks up a gear? I'm finding it hard to care about any of the characters and their motives at the moment. This might be the first RPG I've actually enjoyed levelling up in.

I'm really struggling to notice the difference, to be honest. Haven't found anything to be particularly faster, but it's only been 20 hours since installation. It just feels like the same (brilliant) OS I had before.

Me too. But not until after I found a copy in HMV (after weeks of going in and asking) for £45. Gonna hopefully return it asap.

I actually played Zero on Live again last night, people still play on it! I'm looking everywhere for a new game (Tales of Vesperia is out of stock everywhere, did it get a recall?) and decided to jump back into my existing catalogue instead, a whopping 5 games. I really wouldn't mind a Perfect Dark sequel if they could re-think it a bit.

The DVD player on the PS2 is awful. Is it the same case for blu-ray on the PS3?

I did and haven't regretted it yet. Just be warned; everything goes to hell after every major update. Still haven't re-jailbroken since 3.0 until everything is ironed out.

I agree. So far it seems Obama has lied his way into the White House. Making jokes at a fancy dinner party when the people of America are marching the streets for equality is NOT on.

Literally minutes ago, the California Supreme Court announced its decision to keep Prop 8. It will officially recognise the 18,000 same sex marriages that happened before the proposition, but from now on Gay Marriage is officially illegal in the state of California. I hope theres a massive riot going on right now across the pond!

How did you get a refund? Do they offer it to you once your 4th machine breaks or something? My third machine keeps choking... EDIT: It's actually my fourth, I think.

If you can wait two weeks to see what Apple have up their sleeves, then do. If not, then from everything I've heard the BB 8900 is pretty darn nice.
