Am I gonna need Roxio Easy Media Creator or similair to get the footage off of the mini-DVDs/Camcorder thats plugged into a PC, just to edit though? Did that make any sense? lol. Hey there right back!

Sorry if i'm lazy with the info, haven't got the cam with me. Just blew my driving fund on a Sony DVD/DCR (560E i think..) camcorder. Records straight onto mini-DVDs, touch screen, HD filming, the works. The tech guys in the Media Suite at college said it won't connect with Final Cut Pro or any of the editing programs on the Macs, possibly because it needs a windows programme or something, basically they had no way of getting the film off the disc without converting all the footage onto DV tape. Ive been doing it for a few weeks now and its really pissing me off, wasting time making my films lower in quality so i can edit. So ive got a naff laptop at my flat, with no internet connection there (hence the absence, sorry!) Can anyone reccomend a good programme that you think will work with my camera? Cheers!!! x

ok, the old xbox has the 3 red light syndrome, and wont play any dvds, games or cds properly. so where do i ship it off to get it repaired, and slightly more importantly how much is microsoft gonna scam out of me? it was one of the launch day consoles.... cheers

yeah! I ran a connectivity test on my 360 and it said my ICMP and NAT were tight or restricted (though i just tested again and they are now fine ???)

i hope theres an option to turn it off till i get a spare usb kayboard/sexy controller attachment

yeah it looks very uncomfortable for playing games with for a long period of time, and i bet it'll be an extra tenner on top of the already fairly expensive wireless pad, im sure you could pick up a cheap USB keyboard for less than a tenner. EDIT: Oh, it actually looks like you can attach it to the bottom, as a seperate attachment. thats a good idea!

Bloody hell, I stuck in the ethernet cable and i still have Live Gold! Whats going on, it should of expired last november! Haha. So after trading in a ton of games, and not buying any since Oblivion, I literally have Halo 2, Oblivion and PDzero. What do i need, and where can I pick it up cheap? Cheers for the recomendation to get Gears off play-asia. Anywhere selling cheap headsets, mines being held together by selotape. I played a few demos, Just Cause (i think thats its name) seemed alright! If i see it cheap i'll pick it up. And Superman hahaha, I had fun flying about anyway, even though you can just tell its a shallow kids game. Oh, and i have a new router now, and getting online on PDzero seems ALOT more annoying now. Any setting i need to fiddle with? Haha im an Xbox n00b all over again...

Im considering it. I have a 360 but i havent bought a game for it since last summer, havent renewed my Xbox live since last autumn, its been a glorified DVD player. I could spend a hundred or so getting some amazing games and playing on Live. But i'd miss lying in bed with myspace hahaha.

okay. the trailer is only 2/5ths loaded and from what ive seen, im gonna make a rash judgement. the graphics, although pretty, dont look amazing. and therefor there will probably be another huge map, much like San Andreas. Yay...........
