I've just been reading through all the posts in this topic. Theres an overwhelming amount of criticism for the game and it's caught me by surprise. Some people are going as far as saying Wind Waker is a better game. I am still yet to play this game due to important committments I still need to clear but come the 10th January, i'll be officially playing this game and giving the ULTIMATE judgement of this game once and for all. So far all i've done is turn on the game and witness the title screen and I must say its rather underwhelming, the landscapes too bare and I don't like the sequence leading up to the wolf transformation, pans to the side then wolf. Rather dull really, no where near the sort of impact Ocarina of Times menu had when you turned the game on.

Final Fantasy III. VII is overrated, but is the best game of all time according to gamefaqs.com when they conducted the poll a few years back, opinions would probably differ a bit now though...

To me the virtual console is second rate and is losing out on millions of dollars of potential revenue due to the inability to offer NTSC games for purchase in PAL regions and vice versa courtesy of 1990s style region restrictions, but I do like the fact Sega games are being put on as I've only ever bought Nintendo systems and apparently, they've been some very good games released on Sega Systems in recent years (Dreamcast excluded as it ain't featured on the virtual console). Can any N-Europians inform me of the best Sega games to EVER release on the systems that they would recommend for me purchase on the virtual console? It would be nice if in your response you justify as to why you recommend I buy these particular games you suggest, i'll verify it based on current VC reviews, obviously the benchmark would be lower and i'll have it set at around 8/10, 7.5/10 at the absolute bare minimum and only if I decide to cut the game some slack. Thanks in advance (to serious informative posts that is).

At the moment, none, when the online system is actually established towards the end of Wiis life cycle several years after the establishment of PS3s online service, i'll add some friends then.

In just about all cases i'd say no, but i'd perhaps get a remake on a few rare occasions and based on personal criteria it must fulfill. The game had to be an exclusive on Nintendo consoles to begin with, otherwise no purchase, UNLESS its a franchise such as Grand Theft Auto whereby it'd be practically an act of divine intervention if we were to see premium third party games such as Grand Theft Auto and Final Fantasy to ever make an appearance on a Nintendo console with games from the OFFICIAL SERIES, not cheap inferior knock off substitutes such as Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Also the game would have to surpass the original in EVERY single aspect, and have a superior average ratio to the original game. In cases where games have not been released in PAL regions such as Sin & Punishment: Successor of The Earth, i'd be enticed to buy the game as it was never released on PAL systems and remained a Nintendo console exclusive.

I guess record quality music production capabilities would be out of the question?

Nothing except the master sword that changes Hyrule forever.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, no remakes, leave it be remembed as the best game of all time as validated via its unsurpassed average ratio.

Thrust down with nunchuck and Wii mote at the same time while holding Z to perform the hammer move which damages the sword of the swordsman. The komoris are easy including the sam fischer style leader that yields the poison sword. Usually they begin with a phase of fierce sweeps for which you can't block, dodge instead then slash, 3 to 4 normal slashes or perform a special combo learnt from training for increased damaged, when their health gets to the lower end, they minimise fierce swings and go for conventional swings, block at the correct time with the nunchuck to make them lose their balance, repeat swings to slash them, bam done defeated. You'll breeze through them once you memorise their attack patterns.

CLUE: I live on Earth and where I live is a place where you can buy a Wii.

Get Eternal Darkness, the only mature game to be released on a Nintendo console in the past 10 years and was a good game despite being a little short and linear. Another possible game, Starfox Adventures, a historic game seeing that its Rares last game ever made for a Nintendo system, lengthy game with good graphics for the time it was released, gameplay falls apart towards the end of the game though and the game has a really annoying clipping issue where when you walk into new areas, the game completely freezes for a second. Also Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, not exactly a great game, but getting a sniff of a Sonycentric franchise is satisfying in itself.

I'm not liking Banana Blitz, underwhelming game with flawed control in the main game and a number of the party games. Why the hell did they omit Monkey Billiards? I also don't like how with quite a few of the launch titles, they've used the speaker, the audio quality is terrible and sounds really second rate with low production values. Examples include reloading/picking up guns in Red Steel and selection noises, character voices in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz.

I'd be happy to pay a surcharge for a special SUPERIOR version of the game. -
The moment has arrived. I am now officially an N-Europe Aficionado. With this I have finally fulfilled the goal of holding that title and having 1000 posts in this forum to my name. I am perhaps best known for my antics towards The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess and my controversial views on "reviewism" and "exclusivism". Tellyn888 posted a good summary of some of my most memorable posts about The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess in the N-Europe Yearly Nominations Thread but cannot be bothered posting them at the moment in this particular topic. If someone could repost them in this topic, it would be greatly appreciated. With myself reaching this milestone and the failure that is Twilight Princess now imprinted into the history books, it is now time for me to move into another phase of my life and thus I and am hereby OFFICIALLY announcing my retirement at N-Europe forums with activity from this account ceasing at the conclusion of this year being 2006. I may come back every now and then and look at whats happening around the joint but not actually post anything. I may make one special post on my final views on Twilight Princess upon completion of the game as I am yet to play it, but just turning on the game, I found the opening screen underwhelming. With that I bid farewell & have a good life. ON A SIDE NOTE: I will be keeping an eye out on this years N-Europe awards as I believe I am currently leading the race for the most negative user of 2006.

Will the dishes that can be prepared in the game be from a range of regions and include delicacies such as fish testicles, raw horse meat, snails, frog legs etc? -
