Ha! Very good (and also embarrassingly true...) that kids brother, who was my age, looks alot like me. The child did not. But don't let that get in the way of my 'Downfall' renactment...

Guess Thanks @MoogleViper, you have saved me from myself and technology!

Rather presumptiously putting this in the funny thread, considering I'm in it...still got some positive reactions so far so I hope you enjoy! how the guff can I embed a video on here, rather than just the link? Technology has beaten me!

just added @Sheikah, @Eenuh , @Jimbob and @Aneres11. I too am looking forward to invading your towns and generally messing things up in AC. Only in dream mode though!

Ubisoft Montpellier is hard at work on a prototype for a ZombiU sequel, creative director Jean-Philippe Caro has told fans on Twitter. Asked if we can expect a sequel, Caro replied: "Thank you for your interest in ZombiU. The team is working hard on a prototype." However, he added "it's too soon to tell you more". This isn't the first time the studio has spoken of a sequel. Earlier this year producer Guillaume Brunier hinted at cooperative play in a future game. "How to bring a cooperative experience and still keep fear and tension is a question we would love to address," said Brunier. "In our most exciting dreams, we would like to create an online experience where players never quite know where they stand between coop and player vs. player. "Doubt is a great nest for tension and fear." But given Wii U's struggle to penetrate the market and Ubisoft's prior decision to delay Rayman Origins to ensure a multi-format release, could a ZombiU sequel also see a release on other consoles? http://videogames.virginmedia.com/news/ubisoft_working_on_zombiu_sequel_prototype.html Hello! Let's hope Ubisoft may divulge a bit more at e3. Wouldn't be suprised to see mulitplatform, as long as we get it!

Nintendo Ditching This Years E3 Presser
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Rockstar will not be attending E3, parent company Take-Two has confirmed. Instead, the publisher intends to reveal more details about GTA 5 at events dotted throughout the summer. "This year, our labels will not have a booth on the show floor," said Take-Two president Karl Slatoff during the company's financial results last night (via Seeking Alpha). "Both Rockstar Games and 2K have instead decided to focus their marketing and PR efforts on a series of events throughout the spring and summer. Our team, however, will be present at the show, and we look forward to seeing many of you there." "Our philosophy on the show is that we like the show, we participate in a meaningful way in the show," he later added. "It's a great place for the industry to get together, and we're highly supportive of it. This year it just didn't make sense for us at the same level." Rockstar's E3 absence joins sister company 2K, which confirmed last month that it would not be exhibiting at the show. E3 begins in just a few short weeks on June 11, where the majority of publishers are expected to offer more details on their next-gen line-up. Source: Seeking Alpha Alright alright, I know it's got nothing to do with Nintendo, but still, if Rockstar ain't turning up, Nintendo were waaay ahead of the curve by pulling out... -
NINTENDO @ E3: Towards Hype and Hyperboles
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Fused King's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Imagine, holding the game pad up to the tv to control a sky diver as he launches from a plane into the clear blue sky, using the gyro of the pad to move him about, perform tricks etc. just as you start hurtling towards a snowy mountain top, game pad is lowered which sets of the parachute, and Ricky Winterborn takes his board off his back, straps it on, and releases the parachute, free falling onto the mountain top, landing board perfect on the decline, and off he goes, racing down towards his destiny. 1080 U Also see same description but include "releases parachute and lands perfectly astride a jet ski, the motor already running, and off he goes, racing towards his destiny" -
Ah Super Mario Bros 2, how I love thee absolutely love this game, gave me headaches playing it on the NES getting to world 6 then dying, only completed it once it was on GBA!

NINTENDO @ E3: Towards Hype and Hyperboles
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Fused King's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Agree with @dazzybee actually, after posting last night I though about NST, and how instead of VC releases, imagine getting a new Wave Race and/or 1080! Time for Riiiiccckyyyy Winterborn to save the Wii U -
NINTENDO @ E3: Towards Hype and Hyperboles
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Fused King's topic in Nintendo Gaming
I feel lame for saying this, but finally getting through 100% on NSMBU, so be very interested to see what the luigi add on includes/costs. Almost bored myself saying saying that. Anyway in terms of GENUINE EXCITEMENT, a slew of new N64 VC announcements. And then an earth shattering GameCube VC starting with Wave Race Blue Storm, Luigi's Mansion and Star Wars RS: Rogue Leader; original cube launch titles, now launching a VC new era! I also do think they might slip a new franchise in somewhere too, perhaps just as an eshop title or something, but something they will build on for the future, which may include micro transactions. Where was I? HYPE!!! Really can't wait to see what they bring and, frankly, if the ND format and then getting journos hands on with the games works as well as I think it could -
News on PS4 marketing camapaign: The marketing slogan used to launch the PlayStation 4 will be "Greatness Awaits" according to leaked documents obtained by Siliconera from a company working on the campaign. The commercial begins on an empty road in a small town. A man walks down the road towards the viewer and says: "Who are you not to be great? You, with the imagination of a brilliant child and the powers of an ancient god." "Who are you to be ordinary? You, who could get away with murder, or raise the dead..." The buildings begin to look damaged. "Who are you to be anonymous? You, whose name should be spoken in reverent tones or in terrified whispers." There is a distant screech, blowing out some windows. Two people sprint the opposite way covered in yellow paint. "Who are you to be afraid? You, who can serve as judge and jury while hoarding infinite lives." Buildings appear increasingly damaged as he walks, and people begin to follow him. "Who are you to be a slave to the past? You who can travel time like the oceans and rewrite history with a single word." He begins to raise his voice to be heard. In the background you see the icon from Destiny. "Who are you to deny greatness? If you would deny it to yourself, you deny it to the entire world." A distant roar that sounds unlike any human invention is heard. It is loud and rumbling and begins to throw a shadow over our hero. "And We Will Not Be Denied." The camera then pans up to reveal a giant spacecraft from KIlizone fly overhead. The camera turns to follow our hero - we see an epic battle scene. Massive aircraft exploding into flame, people firing weapons from behind overturned vehicles. Soccer players dribbling between the madness, giant robots, dragons, smoke, fire, explosions. The hero and his followers begin to sprint into the action, the camera charging in behind before craning up to reveal a massive gamer's paradise. Copy is superimposed onto the screen: "Greatness Awaits" "PlayStation" The leaked ad comes from the same source which previously provided accurate info on the PSP "Step Your Game Up" campaign. Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Yeah I agree, as pathetic as it sounds am finding these just a bit easier to do, getting me in tune for the other stuff, so enjoying more at the mo. Completed up to level 25 on the Mario main event though, really enjoying the overall package of this game so far, plenty of classic tunes to enjoy and it oozes charm! -
He needs to rebuild his reputation, and what better place to do that than at Oxford Utd where he used to play! (Plus he seems to have been managing above his capabilities so far, needs to get back to basics and suffer in the lower leagues a bit more...) Of course another reason could be that, some 10 years ago, I went to Alton Towers and amongst all the exciting rides we found a penalty kick competition. A crowd of about 5 people were watching as I ran up and hit a pen like Alan shearer in the good old days, bang in the top right hand corner as hard as I could. I went to the desk where they gave me my score and asked for my name to put in their database. "Dean Saunders" I said. I ranked 150th at the time with it. That, my friend, is destiny!...
-
It can feel like that some times can't it! Yeah I agree, I think he is good enough to get us promoted so I hope that he has one more season with us. If not then, now he's a free manager, lets get Dean Saunders to the Kassam! Oxford old boy who has got something to prove, and we could use someone who obviously has some contacts and could get some good players into the club to replace the few we released! Think his level could be league two for now, and what better place to come...If Wilder leaves!

Mario & Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Retro_Link's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Initial impressions are this has lots of classic Mario charm to it, from the graphics to the tunes. Seems like there could be some depth to it as well, already feel like there is plenty to do and unlock, and the level create could be quite fun! Though yet to work out if possible to send/find friends levels or just search the entire database. Anyone else picking this up? Thought I saw @londragon having a dabble on my friends list earlier... -
Haha well I'm not one to boast... no to be fair I've only been to one of their games this season now I'm living in London, so doesn't feel right banging on about them when I barely get down there, always following them though! Wouldn't be surprised, we started really well last season, he got linked with the Coventry job then we nose dived and only started to pull it back towards the end, too little too late. I think he needs and deserves a new challenge really, could be the man to get the blades into the promised land!
-
I think Moyes has done a fair job in the time he has been at Everton, kept them stable and in the prem which is important, but I agree I can't see it either. I mean Fergie was in a fairly similar situation at Aberdeen and took them to European trophies, league titles etc, so although he took awhile to get Utd going, he had proven silverware pedigree. Has to be Mourinho in my book, Guardiola may be feeling a bit rueful too (not that he's inheriting a bad squad...) Not a Utd fan but this feels so weird. Since following football all I have ever known is Manchester United to dominate the premiership, must be like the era before mine just accepting that Liverpool were the best team in England. Will be weird, if this does derail them, trying to explain in years to come how Utd were a juggernaut for 20 years. And looking back through archives and records, surely we have lived through the era of the greatest manager in the history of the English game. And to think his first game was at my beloved Oxford United

Nintendo Ditching This Years E3 Presser
Kaepora_Gaebora replied to Hero-of-Time's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Ok so some indication of what Nintendo plan on at e3, wasn't sure if this demanded a new thread or not yet... Taken from nintendolife.com: Nintendo's plans for E3 have become a little clearer today, after the surprising recent announcement that the company is skipping its annual major presentation — all while Sony and Microsoft merrily carry on. While we're still not sure what the big N plans to amuse the wider public with — assuming it plans to do so at all — we do now know of a media event that will incorporate a presentation and "unique" hands-on time. It's all about Wii U, unsurprisingly, with the event being called the Wii U Software Showcase. Taking place on 11th June, shortly before the expo opens to the public, Shigeru Miyamoto and Reggie Fils-Aime will provide opening remarks for 30 minutes, before an hour that's scheduled for gameplay demos, hands-on time and Q & A. It's taking place at the Nintendo booth itself, so essentially sounds like a preview look at what's on offer in the show — Nintendo's previously confirmed that new Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D titles will be playable, while a first look at the next Smash Bros. was also promised during the recent Wii U Direct broadcast. We can expect plenty of coverage out of that event, but now the curiosity turns to whether Nintendo will broadcast any Nintendo Direct streams during E3 to keep fans at home excited and in the loop. We'll find out soon enough. -
Cheers @kav82, and @Mokong X\-C again! sounds interesting, I am now caught between two minds really as to whether I should farm the goldbeard, or just try and tru spehere the diablos armour set I have at the mo. I haven't had much time to be online at then mo, on HR6, so now I have hit a brick wall with the solo quests may just attempt to do the Port Tanzia quests on my own, see how far I can get and if I can pick up tru spheres. I'm on 170 hours, it's not as if any time spent doing that now is 'wasting time'!
-
@Mokong X\-C wow when a hunter needs help, the brotherhood answers! So much rich information there, thanks for giving me some new ideas, telling me things I didn't already know and, finally, confirming that my tactic so far of getting stuck in and beating these enemies up with force won't cut it on the mark quest! My thought now is...
-
Going to try to be as vague as possible as to avoid spoilers, but basically have absolutely dominated the 9* quests, and the two urgents that follow, waltzed into the mark of the hero quest thinking I was billy big time and got absolutely shat on from a great height!! Brutal difficulty spike! So just wondering if any seasoned hunters can give me some tips please? At the mo got diablos armour with 520 defence roughly, do I need to be much higher than that to compete with the big boys? Weapon is dios stinger lance+, obviously with slime element. Any help greatly received!

Spent Friday in the blazing sun eating salad and playing MH on my 3DS, bliss! (even if the screen glare was so bad I couldn't see what I was doing on MH...)
-
Yeah I would back up what Blade has said, currently on 167 of monster hunter and no sign of slowing down, def would keep you going! And ZombiU is a fantastic experience, as is Lego City, depends I guess if they are 'your sort' of games as it were!
