  1. http://www.officialnintendomagazine.co.uk/47869/deux-ex-wii-u-screenshots/ ONM have an exclusive interview with the game director in their next issue!
  2. Encouraging to hear them saying Wii U fits their idea of what Deus Ex is about. Maybe hyperbolic spin to get everyone excited...but it's worked on me! and hopefully means that any future games in the series will be Wii U bound too. Consider me a customer Square-Enix
  3. I was always rankled by this at 6th form, people used to walk around with hammer and sickle logo jumpers and tshirts, without seemingly realising what an awful man Stalin was. If I had turned up with a swastika on my arm or chest, I would have been expelled! Not that I would of mind you!
  4. Me Vs You online test match, no simulating If it has online at all...
  5. And we thought Deus Ex was the big announcement of the day! "Bowling Warney" etc etc This summer, 505 games puts you in control of the ultimate rivalry in Test cricket with ASHES CRICKET 2013. To be released for the start of the 2013 Investec Ashes Series, ASHES CRICKET 2013 offers unique and realistic features for cricket fans and gamers alike. Whether playing on X360, PS3, Wii U or PC, dynamic game play adds variety to each match. Players will have to adapt to varying and altering pitches; whether it’s a green seaming wicket or deteriorating fifth day pitch susceptible to spin and bounce. Weather forecasts will also change, altering the course of the match; overcast conditions will be more conducive to swing, while sunny days are a batsman’s paradise. ASHES CRICKET 2013 includes a brand new game engine creating a truly authentic gaming experience. Batsmen have 360 degree control over shot placement, requiring impeccable placement and timing to build an innings. A new line and length bowling system gives bowlers the tools to set plans for batsmen throughout a day’s play and players have complete freedom to set a field of their choice. For those who prefer to be led however, there are options for intelligent automatic field placement. Connoisseurs of the game will be able to play the complete 2013 Investec Ashes Series, with official England and Australia teams, however those more interested in the short form of the game can take on the rest of the world in limited overs tournaments and leagues. “We are delighted to be able to announce some of the key features for ASHES CRICKET 2013,” commented Ralph Pitt-Stanley, General Manager for UK & Export at 505 Games. “This game has been created with real cricket fans and players in mind. The new engine allows players to mimic a cricketers most important attribute, his technique.”
  6. I may be wrong due to the overall colours, but is that Bruno Senna on the right of the box? I hope they have updated the team rosters at least, Hamilton no where on the cover would suggest maybe they have, but if not then this is redundant!
  7. Not a Blackburn fan, but what on earth is going on at Ewood Park?! I thought Appleton was the wrong man for the job in the first place but still, Venky's are making an utter hash of running that football club, them and Wolves could be up for double relegation!
  8. In my eternal quest for positivity, they must have a great reason for wanting to bring this over, will be excited to see what they have planned for Wii U and the game pad, heard nothing but great things from my mates about this game Edit: Just to troll, $49.99 by today's conversion rate is £33.07... if we got a £29.99 price point I would be over the moon, lets hope some common sense is involved or it's almost an unrecognisable game to warrant a full price release!
  9. Blimey, all this talk of tables and charms, feel like I will be lucky to just get it switched on!! Can't see myself doing anything other than just getting playing straight away and seeing how my luck fares, love that there is this depth to it all though!
  10. Wow what a brilliant OP, cheers guys! My brothers wedding tomorrow, me, him and the two best men are all big Nintendo gamers, planning on a bit of Mario Kart 3DS before the ceremony, we spent all yesterday trying to convince him it still wasn't too late to push it back a week so we can all do some Monster Hunting together before and after it! (And probably during knowing us, my brother wanted to have a Wii U/ 3DS section to the reception, apparently vetoed...)
  11. Christ, I can't defeat the Plesioth on the 3DS version for the life of me
  12. IGN wade in with a 8.0, fairly solid as was expecting them to slate it, sounds like this is going to be well worth a punt!
  13. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/03/zelda_game_boy_color_oracle_duo_heading_to_western_3ds_eshops_before_summer Well this is welcome news! Before Summer sounds promising, to be honest quite suprised they don't just release these either 22nd or 29th March, really stretch our wallets to the limit!! That link couldn't have made it less clear, about oracle of ages/seasons release dates
  14. Oh yep good point, just went searching and found it in other consoles thread...In my defense I was concerned about the Wii U'ness, or lack there of, of the game! Also there is no alternate timeline, whatever happened, happened...
  15. http://videogames.virginmedia.com/news/splinter_cell_blacklist_collectors_editions_detailed_2.html Special editions / Collector editions announced, but still no Wii U logo anywhere to be seen The way Watch_dogs was announced had hoped that perhaps it may just slip out this was coming to Wii U, really hope so!
  16. HA! I feel like I've seen a different side to you Dazzy, a more innocent, nubile..ahem! :p Same boat though as you and Blade, I really plan to use 3DS to do my single player work, however if there are a few of us newbies on here, maybe we could all team up and make a cluster fuck of a quest a few times, ease us in gently ( back to the Mills and Boon...), I'm still sore from playing COD against people on here and getting told off, keen to make a good impression with Monster Hunter!
  17. Ruddy bloody tempted by this, if I do means will be buying MH3U on both systems, luigi's mansion...and either this or Lego. Who am I kidding, this and Lego. In the space of a week! If the online is supposed to be quality will be all over it
  18. Hmm well difficult to put my finger on it, just didn't enjoy it straight off the bat, found the gameplay a bit uninspiring...however to be fair to the game I really didn't give it much of a chance, I borrowed a copy of Skyward Sword soon after this came through so picked that back up again which took over. Coupled with my desire to pick up both MH3U versions, I thought it best to trade in as will never get to play it and need the money. So making a profit on it sealed the deal! Would be interested to hear though what you make of it when it does arrive, and if I made a bit of a mistake being so hasty with the trade in
  19. I received mine from Zavvi about 7 days after they told me it was shipped, so guess they are just a bit erratic! Also if anyone is in a similar position to me, I really didn't get on with the game at all, so decided to trade it in at GAME, paid £14.99 or whatever it was on Zavvi, got £19 trade in value for it! £22.50 with some incentive they are running when you pre order a game.
  20. Taken from BBC sport website: "A man has apologised to Nottinghamshire Police for calling 999 and asking for referee Cuneyt Cakir to be arrested after last night's Champions League clash between Manchester United and Real Madrid." Bit of banter!
  21. In the days before online leaderboards, that scrap of paper in Link's tree house in OOT was the barometer of your gaming ability at my school. So when the fishing guy refused to put my Loach in the tank after telling me how much it weighed I was livid! Could never get 2000 on the Gerudo archery until replaying it on the Gamecube WW bundle though!
  22. Catching the Hylian Loach on OOT as a child with no idea what a Hylian Loach was at the time. Was a good 15 minute tug of war with the blighter, thinking I had a real lunker on my hands, finding out it was this strange fish, only to realise after I had done accidentally what usually requires being old and a sinking lure! Didn't have the technology or the nous to take any photographic evidence, but I remember it as clear as day!
  23. That mutagen stone is an utter beast, managed 59.73 secs with the stone, but cannot control the mutagen, barely got past the first load of doughnuts before crashing! Looking forward to another go tomorrow morning Love the music as well, especially the menu tunes, very relaxing/animal crossing-y I think
  24. Anyone else picked this up? Quite a fun little game, especially for the price!
