Just preordered this with Tesco with a free T shirt and 500 club card points. That's worth a fiver, a tenner if you use the boost promotion. Only downside is they charge your card straight away but I suppose it's paid for.

Caught up with this now. Can't begin to describe how good it is. Especially season 3. At least don't let me be the only one who has watched it here, people!

Thought I'd add it was a tv show on the thread title so people knew I wasn't talking about the yanks Anyway, has anyone seen this? I'm most of the way through s1 and really enjoying it so far. Will probably have caught up in a few weeks but just wanted to see if there were any fans here. A few things make you have to suspend your disbelief and there are one or two rather convenient plot points but on the whole, it's really rather good. Kind of got a Walt/Hank from Breaking Bad dynamic going on between Phillip and Stan. And another fine performance from the lady who played Mags Bennett in Justified. Well worth a watch.

Loving Iron Maiden's new album. Astonishing that they're still pumping out such quality after over 30 years. Where most bands tend to fade out, Maiden have got stronger with every album they've brought out since Brave New World in 2000.

I had 5050 stars, I just ended up buying a MK8 trophy. I kind of liked the badges, but I wouldn't have had anything that I wanted and could afford with the remaining 1050.

Thinking about it, I can understand why Horde mode wasn't included as the enemies in this game are quite limited. There are no Clickers, Grinders, Maulers, Sires etc. So I kinda get that it'd be a bit boring fighting the same basic enemy over and over but I still wish they'd have included it with the newer enemies. It's not like it would affect canon or anything. You can play as Anya in multilayer and she wasn't a fighter in the first game.

I'm pretty disappointed they didn't add a Horde mode. The online is a bit hit and miss for me as H.o.T says, so a Horde mode wouldve easily extended the life of this title. As it stands, once I've completed the story again on Insane and found all COG tags, there's not much left for me to hold my interest until we get the backwards compatibility of the later (and superior) titles. And would it have hurt to include the Guardian mode from Gears 2? It was by far the best mode due to the Execution rules. Used to play the shit out of it back in the day. Assassination just doesn't cut it.

Any chance of a thread title edit?? Can't wait to play this again. And with the other three games for free, there's gonna be a lot of chainsawing this weekend at my house. And once I've finished pruning the trees in my garden, I may play this game.

I too am appalled by the standard of driving in this country. Take the other day for example, there were literally hundreds of idiots driving the wrong way on the M25.

Just bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab S with 4G. 8.4 inch. Was gonna wait for the S2 but was reading impressions of it and it looks like they've downgraded a few things. I'm a stick in the mud Apple user so this'll be the first dip in the Android pool for me. Nervous!!

I found the first couple of chapters really hard but if you shoot enemies in the leg then use matches, you'll save a lot of ammo until you find the more powerful weapons.

Is anyone else having issues with Conker and cutscenes? You can skip them by pressing B, so it says. But you have to have watched them at least once. Fair enough, but I can't skip them at all after I die. This, plus the terrible camera and controls are making this near unplayable. Hasn't aged well at all, but I never had the cutscene issue with the original. Edit. Sorry. It was the L button on the N64 but which button is that on the Xbox? L is Z on this and none of the others seem to work. Edit 2. I sussed it now, it's the menu button - the only one I didn't try!! There was nothing in the Help bit and I mustn't have been paying attention during the tutorial.

A train guard I know killed himself today. He went missing halfway through his shift, drove 20 or so miles to Leyland and threw himself under a train doing 100mph. There's stories in the news about it, but none say that he was a railway worker. I'm just absolutely stunned. He seemed like a happy, chatty bloke. I guess you can never tell what's going on in someone's head.

You can change the control settings so you can use L as a brake. As for the campaign for disarment missions, they're really easy if you use remote hack. But yeah, the Bat tank sucks balls.
