  1. Holy shit. Was not expecting that in 156! First time I've been shocked for a while. Totally unexpected twist.

  3. Finished this earlier. That ending was weeeeeird. Great game. Not sure it was better than Limbo though. The puzzles were nowhere near as good. A 10/10 game it is not.
  4. It's playable now. Playdead tweeted that Microsoft was showing the wrong time on Xbox One. Was actually playable at 10am UTC.
  5. Installing this now. Still says it's a preorder though even though it's after the time it becomes playable (1201 GMT) Unless it means lunchtime...
  6. Has anybody seen Gomorrah? Holy fucking shit it's good. Same style as The Wire, not quite on its level but completely destroys the illusion of the mafioso having an honourable code of not harming innocents. Totally brutal.
  7. It's easy. Put an average English player in a team of world class foreigners and they will get more chances/defend better etc and generally look better than they are. Put that same player in a team of fellow average players and they are exposed for the utter shite they really are. It's about time England and their fans stopped viewing the players they produce as being world class. The last decent squad they had was at Euro 96 where they were genuinely unlucky to not win it.
  8. Release day if you've ordered a physical copy. If you order and pay for it now on PSN/XBL then you'll get it straight away. It's retailing at about £40 everywhere but yet the online stores are selling it for £55! You might as well just pay for Stick of Truth if you want it now.
  9. Nah it's ok. Been following it on Twitter and eyewitnesses are saying he was chanting EDL and making strong Out chants as well. But I suppose you can't trust everything you read on Twitter or any social media for that matter.
  10. So, a big fuss was made of the poor animation that was shown a couple of years ago. Do you reckon it's improved/stayed the same? Can't say I pay a great deal of attention to it myself, doesn't really bother me that much but was wondering if you guys were happier about it?
  11. Disgusting about the MP being killed this afternoon. Regardless of political views, this was someone's wife and mother. Scum.
  12. Totally agree. Thousand Year Door was by far the best in either series. This game just looks like Sticker Star all over again, even down to the real world objects you can use in fights. Maybe I'm a little jaded by both series though. I'm right at the end of Dream Team Bros and haven't bothered to finish it. And I got Paper Jam for Christmas but haven't even started it yet. I should really get to it though.
  13. Any chance they'll put the demo on the eShop? Wishful thinking I know, but they should really be letting us all have a chance to have a go.
  14. Or maybe he meant a new way to pray. New Nintendo Network to directly connect with God.
  15. Totally agree. It's alright and I can see why it has such a large fanbase but as a whole, it's just that - alright. The Americans is by far the best thing on tv right now. Fantastic acting, great costumes, setting and dialogue. Just absolutely spot on. Thrones is a B show in comparison in my book.
  16. IGN say that the third act is repetitive and drawn out. Visuals are stunning but the game lacks many stand out set pieces, which doesn't seem like an Uncharted game. I do worry though after playing three Uncharted games and two Tomb Raiders quite recently that I'll be burnt out by the time I get to play this. I may wait a while before I get it.
  17. *Comes in to hear news on new Zelda as per thread title...
  18. House prices were a LOT cheaper back then. I've had a bit of work done over the years, had new windows and a porch built, new kitchen, bathroom etc. I'd say it's probably worth about £90k now based on what others are selling for in the area. And yes, it's Bolton. To be fair, it's a reasonably nice area - never had any trouble since I've been here. The house is a 2 bed semi. It was fine when it was just me living here but with a baby, it's starting to get a little cramped, hence me thinking about moving.
  19. I paid £29k for mine in 2000. Not sure what it's worth now though. Mortgage is paid off in three years but I'm thinking of moving in the next couple of years.
  20. Did anyone buy/play this. I really enjoyed it until the last boss which I've still not managed to beat. Ridiculous difficulty spike combined with a very poorly explained mechanic leads up to a lot of cheap deaths. And instadeaths I might add. Really hacked off with it. Doesn't help that it's so poorly designed that you don't restart at the beginning of the fight, but before a cutscene which although it is skippable, you've still got to sit through two loading screens before you have another try Think I'm done with this. Have had about 20 tries. Even checked videos for tips but they're not helpful.
  21. Luigi's Mansion, Super Monkey Ball and Rogue Leader for me. Plus an RGB cable.
  22. Rectify TV show about a man trying to put his life back together after being released from death row after 19 years. It's got a very Justified esque vibe so anyone who enjoyed that should love this.
