His face is in the character list in the top left, unlike other power ups. Could be an actual character but maybe other players can jump on and let the Yoshi player control them?

I say bring back the double mechanic just for Poochy, teamed up with Oatchi. Two good boys together.

It's no wonder. It's only been what, 8 or so years since Europe got an actual release of it? I played it for a while but never finished it. Might pick it up.

The new art style and animation does look great. Not interested in another 2D Mario game personally but some interesting stuff in there. And nice not to see two Toads! The internet is going to have things to say (and make) about this:

Presumably we'll see a trailer for Everybody 1-2 Switch because it's due out soon but it'll be amusing if it was released with no publicity information.

Interesting titbit suggesting either the new console is due by the end of 2024 (or so), or they just expected them to hold out for years.
