The ones that appear in your plaza are specifically sent to you, the ones in Mii parade are Miis that have been set to mingle from people in your address book.

Who's advocating drug use? I haven't seen anyone doing that. Good post on this whole sorry episode from a guy I know off another forum:
-
Yeah, it's the BBC's fault he gave extensive interviews to tabloid newspapers.

Posting from my Wii Pressing 2 makes it much easier to read posts for me!

He wasn't named by the police. He went to the media and said "Hey, I've been shagging those prostitutes, I've been questioned 4 times and I think they're going to arrest me. I'm 37 and from Trimley St Martin. Wanna buy an interview?" A few days later police say they've arrested a 37 year old man from Trimley St Martin but don't name him. Who's responsible for people knowing who he is?

Most of the ones mentioned, plus the "Which way Scott, where now Scott, is this the rght road Scott" and the kids medicine advert where their miserable whinges are arranged to form a tune. Mute it every time.

How many of these fucking CGI films (not just Pixar) involve domesicated/tame animals having to go on an adventure through the wild?

In baseball i can get a home run practically every time on the home run training mode by just giving the controller a little jerk rather than swinging it.

Yep, exactly the same happened to me. Couldn't open the tools menu. Had to use the keyboard shortcut (alt+t) and then change my firefox theme, which was what seemed to be causing the problem. Try removing any theme you have on and see if that helps, think some of them don't work right with the new version.

Any mum who smokes a spliff deserves death? How about a mother who consumes the drug alcohol? Lethal injection or beheading? I really hope one day you'll grow up. There is still time. Although you've probably got a good career ahead of you working for the Daily Mail as it is.

I don't think so, but I heard from someone who went in when they had a few in stock and they wouldn't sell it to him unless he bought accessories and games up to the value of £400. EDIT: From a Newcastle United forum I post on (about the 2 Game shops in Newcastle): They made a lad at my work pay for an extra £220 of stuff when they sold him his. Cost him £400. Out of order if you ask me.

Bonk is great and runs in lovely full screen, full speed and 60hz The later games in the series are better though.
-
Yeah, I refused to buy them from game. I'll wait till my local games shop has them in. The remotes are 32.99 as well, which adds up when you want to buy 3 remotes and 3 chucks. Of course the £17.99 and £32.99 stickers are emblazoned with Game's "BEST PRICE GUARANTEE!" claim.

I think what you've been saying is far more insulting to be honest. What you count as "working class" is having a home, a computer, an internet connection, a TV, central heating, and video games. Not having much money in the bank doesn't give you empathy with someone who has to sleep with strangers to feed her kids, or who's been taken from their home country and forced to work in the sex trade. The way you go on you give the impression people wake up one morning and say "Hey, I don't feel like going to work or school today, I think I'll become a prostitute and take up a smack addiction, how bad can it be?" As for "The child should go to the police", you have no sympathy for children beaten and abused and too scared to go to the police?

By any chance have you had a nice life, always had a roof over your head and a stable family background? You sound like a right clueless bellend to be honest. It's easy to be judgmental about people on the street when you live with your mummy. Sorry if I offend you or anyone else like.

The fact he said it was bought in Egypt, didn't use the £ sign and the fact that 7000gbp isn't $1,800 may have been a clue.
-
Don't worry, it's just because the info on the back of the box is as rushed as the rest of the game. It works on all TVs.

Supposedly with a craft knife and a bit of trauma centre stile skills you can slice and dice some plastic and make it fit. It's the same cable with a slightly different sized placker plug on the end. If you destroy it or slice your fingers off it's not my fault though!

Well my girlfriend said it's exactly as she remembers it (And after watching her going in all the secret areas etc I guess she played it a lot!) -
Get in, really think I'll end up getting this. Reminds me of this awesome (real life) stuff http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5nmspVOz_Y

Virtual Console - All you need to know

Bollocks, noticed you can put points on with a credit card and buckled, more out of curiosity than anything else. Got Sonic, mostly for my girlfriend and cos you can play it with the wii remote. Is it my memory or is it slower than I remember it? EDIT: Just booted it up in an emulator and, for me at least, it's MUCH slower on the Wii. Even the music's in slow mo. Also, it seems like if there's too many sound effects going on at once you lose some of them. Like if I stand under a waterfall there's some crappy white noise I don't remember from the original but if I jump and collect a ring at the same time, it cuts out till those sound effects are finished. There's been times when notes have gone missing from certain instruments in the slowmo music as well. I know the pal version was slower, but I played that as a kid and I'm sure it wasn't THIS slow. What an utter heap of shit, especially for about a fiver. I think I'll just play my retro games on PC emulators thank you. EDIT2: I think I know why I notice it being so slow - I played the GG version much more than the MD version as a kid cos I had a GameGear and only played on the MD version at a friends house. So I'm used to playing that version at full speed with full speed music. -
Virtual Console - All you need to know

Thought I'd use the VC, but I can't be bothered. Although this thread has made me play Gunstar heros on my PC again with a psx pad. A good virtual console game would be Zombies Ate My Neighbours imo. -
Because people write them in a normal DVD writer, forwards.

How the "it spins the other way" legend kept going when you could see just by opening the GC lid that it was bollocks is beyond me. GameCube backups don't have the be written backwards either, for what it's worth. As for the "exploit", saw it about a fortnight ago and it'd be easy to fake. No way of telling one way or the other from a zoomed in youtube quality video. So don't update the firmware. Or update it, and crack it again.
