Feel sorry for the two kids who aren't getting their Wii's which are sat on my floor until monday at the earliest But it's soooo awesome

OK, the horrible noises followed by long loading times and a disc error happened again. Both times it was Wii sports, both times taking the disc out and putting it back in again solved it. It's like it didn't take the disc properly or something. SHIT! Still getting errors and it still usually makes a horrible noise when accessing the disc Onto Nintendo support tomorrow. I've got 3 Wiis and the only one I can use is borked!

Hmm, the horrid sounds stopped and it seems fine now.

What kind of noise does your Wii make? Mine makes clunky clicky noises and a "Weee-wrrrrrr!" noise quite often and seems to take quite a while to load (Compared to say the cube) Is that normal? Shit, played for about 5 minutes and got "An error has occurred". Doesn't sound healthy.

Only had about 1 minute's go on it, but when I rotate the remote (like turning a door handle) the pointer sort of jumps around a bit. Is that normal?

Not kidding at all. shouted the delivery driver when I realised I had three and he just said to ring Argos, didn't notice there were other people's names on them till he was gone. Argos are sending me a £5 gift voucher and refunding my delivery cost for letting me know. They're picking them up from me on Monday, which means there's going to be 2 unhappy people today. I can take pics if you want proof.

No tracking number with argos. Just an automated call saying to be in on friday cos they're delivering *something*.

My "normal" post is abnormal. Comes between 8am and 1pm, they're like bloody argos. Worst thing is, I know I've got some parcels coming. So the doorbell will ring, I'll run downstairs and nearly break my neck, and it'll be an Ansly Harriet cookbook my girlfriend ordered for her mum for christmas or something

Well I preordered it from Argos with my Wii. They've not mentioned that anythign I asked for isn't in stock. An automated call just told me "my order" will come today. Really hope I don't end up with just one remote

I think I'm losing my mind from lack of sleep. I can't get myself to do anything but sit by my doorbell buzzer on my PC in a state of cat-like readiness and watch this over and over again.

My biggest worry is "Ding dong! Here's your order as promised! Wii Play, Monkey Ball and Red Steel. The Wii console will be delivered subject to arrival of stock. What are you doing with that knife?"

I ordered on the 8th as well! Didn't have an order with Play, but that was the day everyone was talking about play not being able to fill orders and my panic set in A guy off another forum ordered on 16/11 and he got the call the other day as well saying he'd get it on friday. I wasn't in when we got the call but my girlfriend said it was between 8am and 6pm?

Cool, ah well I guess I can manage with just two controllers and one nunchuck. Might wander into town after my Wii comes (I have faith! It must come!) and see if Woolworths or my local indy shop have any remotes.

I know you need the remote and nunchuck for the boxing - what I mean is when you're playing bowling can you just pass the pad to player 2 or does player 2 have to have their own remote?
