  1. And I actually prefer Unravel to any other platformer I've played in years.
  2. Yeah I'd agree with this. Maybe switch OOT/MM around depending on my mood. But the 3D Zeldas have gotten progressively worse since the N64 days. Didn't even bother finishing TP or SS. TP was so empty and SS was so repetitive.
  3. He switched over to Youtube and his own site a few years ago.
  4. Yay toothbrushes and shoes. They can go right next to my collection of amiibo... in the hypothetical trash can. I only know of one kid that owns a WiiU, and that's mainly down to me taking mine round his aunts to host 'Mario Kart parties,' who then bought him one (though I suspect it was also for her). My nieces and nephews used to play Nintendo a lot, as I coerced them to play the N64, 'Cube and Wii as they were growing up. But not one of them owns a WiiU. They've got PC's, Xboxes and PS4's as they're of the generation that likes to talk to each other whilst gaming.
  5. I saw footage of the guys on Playstation Access playing it and it seemed fine? But then again they may have a demo version? I'll be downloading it regardless so will report my findings!
  6. It just got slated, by a lot of reviewers for a myriad of reasons such as; too slow, too long, too scary, not being able to kill the Xenomorph. The list goes on.
  7. I stopped reading reviews after the Alien: Isolation debacle. This game looks great, wanted it as soon as I saw it
  8. I'm not good at war. Everyone seems to commit suicide.
  9. Ah, it's basically just reading with a few speech choices. Nice if you want a little story but very little gameplay.
  10. Which one was it? I've been a little bit scatty tonight and can't decide on what to play. If you mean Amazing Discoveries in Outer Space.. then it's alright. I thought it was going to be a bit more exploratory and less level-ey but yeah it's okay.
  11. The comment just came off as rather immature and childish. Personally I just want to play good games - I couldn't care less who makes them these days, as long as they're good. This pointless, playground-esque "my game's doing better than yours," rubbish is really tiresome.
  12. Why? ...........................
  13. I'm glad they took the Raider Camp from the mission mode and made it multiplayer, thought it was a good map from the offset. Looking forward to those Death Star maps. Fighter Squadron seemed a lot more balanced last night, though I will admit I only played two games so can't be certain.
  14. I've been enjoying it a lot. Some of the puzzles have really stumped me, especially further on. It does indeed look lovely. Reminds me No Man's Sky aesthetic, which is always nice.
  15. I just want a decent Star Fox game.
  16. I think you're absolutely right. And this is also my dilemma; do I buy a new Nintendo console, after not really enjoying the last one? Or invest in some new tech that I've waited almost my entire life for. Actually I just think I answered my own question. lol : peace:
  17. To be honest I always preferred The X Files "monster of the week" episodes anyway. Either way I wonder how long it will take for Scully to forget she's ever seen any evidence of the paranormal and go back to thinking Mulder is a mental.
  18. Maybe you don't think Battlefront has enough content because you've, at your own admission, only really played the one mode? There's 14 maps, spread across 10 modes. How many modes did Splatoon have at launch? How many does it have now? We have no idea how substantial the season pass DLC will be so I have no idea whether 40 quid is too expensive or not. What I do know is, whether I choose to buy the season pass or just the DLC I like, I won't have to buy a hunk of plastic to access it.
  19. I've not watched the trailer but it really wouldn't be that hard to write new twists into it. How many times were they wrong before/force fed the wrong information. And I assume Aliens have free will and could just have changed their minds/delayed their plans.
  20. I think Battlefront has enough content for launch, it has substantially more than Splatoon did and they've said they will release free DLC as well. And I will always prefer it as I'm not stuck playing the same two maps for hours. I wouldn't care about amiibo is they would just let people pay for the content without the stupid figurine. Even if I had room for toys - which I don't, my shelves are full of books and blu-rays - I wouldn't want them. If the dungeon can be unlocked another way then fine.
  21. Loved him in Galaxy Quest and Snow Cake, both with Sigourney Weaver. Check them out if you haven't.
  22. Gamers have always argued over semantics. Remember the 'bit' wars?
  23. Fair enough. I agree Miiverse is a good thing for those who care, although the post limit and general speed of the whole thing needs improving.
