Now the really depressing thing will be when we actually prefer this fake to the real thing.

I think I have most of the "big" games already so don't mind being given smaller indie games, that I might not try otherwise, each month. That and my internet speed is rubbish so downloading bigger games would probably take me a month.

I'm not really bothered about these sorts of things. Nintendo do it all the time and I never bother upgrading.

I would both love and hate this. Would totally try it though.

The only time I enjoyed using the GamePad was with ZombiU. Every other game I felt it was just used for a map, or some gimmick I'd rather not have bothered with. Off-TV play wasn't something I needed as I don't have children, have my own TV, and am old enough to do what the hell I want.

My mac touchpad works great with more than one input on the surface... most of the time.

If you could clip on traditional buttons then it'd be okay I guess. Looks sleek but painful. And also, very unfriendly for children, which is fine by me but perhaps not great for Nintendo.

The new maps are great. They seem pretty big at the moment as there are so many corridors and places to go - even though the new maps are only for the smaller modes. The new mode is fun. Generally an all-round good DLC pack. Should keep me hooked for a while longer.

About what I was expecting price wise. Already got a PS camera so that's not annoyed me. Definitely gonna get one on launch!

If Starfox had had 20 entries then I would probably be clamouring for change. But I only ever played Star Wing and Lylat Wars so I don't really need anything different atm.

We're overdue a "walking through the woods" episode. But yeah, this season has been much better than the last two.

I do have a habit of playing for a bit then get distracted by the Internet and leaving it on the menu.

I do remember Sean saying they would only ever announce a release date if they new for sure they could deliver. That being said, things can go wrong. But I hope they don't!

Just bought the season pass after spending the last 5 days just playing this. Slowly trying to get all the trophies but some of them seem almost impossibly difficult! Well yeah, it's a shooter set in the Star Wars universe. The Star Wars part would always be the big selling point. There may be "hundreds of shooters" out there but by no means does that mean you have to buy them all, or any. And people warned you against buying Battlefront as it's main focus is online multiplayer, which you admitted wasn't really your favourite area of gaming. Fighter Squadron is only one mode out of many in Battlefront which is primarily an FPS/3rd person shooter. But it's still a mode Star Fox, an on-the-rails shooter is lacking. That's pretty bad.

At least it's not another platformer.

Well it was obviously fun enough to play "over and over" again. This game doesn't look fun enough to play once.

You seem to be inferring the Battlefront Fighter Squadron mode isn't fun, yet you also say you've played it "over and over again"? Fighter Squadron is basically all-range-mode multiplayer online. That's what I want from Star Fox (as well as traditional levels) but not at that slow pace with gimmicky controls.

Rogue Legacy is great. Haven't gotten in Binding of Isaac as much and didn't like Spelunky.

Well yes you'd have to, especially in a space battle where you can't see everywhere. You'd have to rely on radar more than line of sight. I don't want to do that.

Ordered the limited edition from Game. Don't normally buy from them but I leave for 8 days in Toronto on the 24th anyway so doesn't matter if it doesn't get delivered on time! Part of me thought about cancelling my holiday...haha
