As I'm not made of money it'd be a toss up between the NX and PSVR. I've been waiting for VR since I was a kid and the WiiU burnt me pretty badly. Haven't really enjoyed a game on it since Mario Kart. So no I would almost certainly not be purchasing on day one. But then again, we know next to nothing about it.. never say never.

Is it out on PS4?

Axiom Verge is coming up on the PSN store as 'Free' for me. I already own it and normally it says "purchased" so if you don't own it, it might be worth having a quick look.

I've put balanced arguments regarding the NX and other consoles many times before but they always seem to get ignored, especially if they're debunking some stupid, cyclical argument Ronnie has started up again such as; no colour in PS4 games, only FPS's, no variety, etc etc. I'm getting quite bored of the whole thing and frankly, Ronnie's constant baiting isn't helping.

I felt like a child again when watching The Force Awakens for the first time at the cinema and seeing the always welcome, "A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..."opening words. I was pretty smiling from ear to ear throughout. I think I saw it four times at the cinema which is the most I've seen a film at the cinema for a long, long time. Personally I don't see an issue with Rey beating Kylo so "easily". He was injured and she seems naturally gifted, whereas he's probably not. I'm almost certain she'll have issues in the next film with regards to her skills. It may not have only been a natural talent that got her through, but also beginner's luck, stress and multiple other factors. Or she could just be that good.

If the games art style was like that it'd be pretty cool

My thinking is Nintendo should settle with a slightly adjusted GameCube controller, as it was almost damned near perfect. And then if, and I stress if, they create a game that really needs a new input device to play, they should bundle it in with the game. Maybe I don't like change. Maybe I just can't be bothered but no time since owning a PS4 have I thought "I wish there was a weird new way I could play this game". Tearaway was enough.

Wasn't too keen on Avatar the first time I watched it but didn't mind it so much on a rewatch. Maybe it's Sigourney, can't dislike anything she's in. Although yes, Alien5, would be much more preferable just so we can finally have a nice closer to Ripley's story.

Well just to throe this out there but I did not buy a PS4 so I could play either Fifa or Cod. I hate football, therefore hate Fifa and have never been interested in Cod. Counting digital only and indie titles I own well over a hundred games for the system, neither of which are Fifa or Cod so this idea that the PS4 is just a Fifa/Cod machine is unwarranted. I moved away from the WiiU because it was getting hardly any releases, and those games that were being released either didn't interest me or were simply sequels to games I'd already been playing for decades. That and it always feels like a mission to get the thing on - the OS feels slow and clunky.

You are getting credits. It's just a bug that they don't show up on the post-match screen. Same with the Hutt contracts showing ones you've already done. Annoying, but not game-breaking.

I've only been annoyed by the PSN going down once. Other times I haven't even noticed and I'm almost constantly on it. And Nintendo downloads always seem to take longer for me. But then again that could be because I see an update, can't be arsed with it and shut off the console for another six months. Playstation stuff normally downloads whilst I'm sleeping.

The Gamecube didn't have a Mario at launch it had... Luigi's Mansion, which was great at the time. Never played the 3DS one. A Mass Effect (Remastered) trilogy would be great - it could be a timed exclusive but I doubt it'd be an out-and-out exclusive. Zelda and Luigi's Mansion would make a nice launch - hopefully there wouldn't be some weird control scheme or amiibo plastered all over the place.

I jumped in at Bloodborne and was fine. That was a kind of spin-off but not game though.
