  1. Well bar Zelda we've not seen any NX games that make that purchase worth it. And not all the VR games are "short".
  2. Even if Zelda had been shit it would have been at the top. As others have said, it's 30 years old and one of the best loved franchises and we haven't had a proper, new, 3D Zelda in quite a few years. At least Nintendo are being talked about for at least one good reason this year.

Yeah I agree. I think I rented Banjo over a weekend once, or maybe I bought it and returned it, but I didn't like it nearly as much as Mario64.
  4. Haha - I loved that he was talking about the decor and artwork
  5. I'm really exited for VR, especially Resi7, Battlefront VR Mission(s) and Farpoint. I think sci-fi is where VR will really shine. Taking us to places we'll never really be able to go. So glad I got my pre-order in!
  6. Resi is scheduled for January, so not launch, but pretty close.
  7. Just incase certain people were worried those gorgeous games were being played on a superior machine:
  8. My dad died in 2009, from leukemia which he had suffered from for a while. I was there in the hospital room when he died, pumped full of drugs, attempting to speak but not being able to. I could tell he was trying to say something to me with his eyes but I'll never really know what it was. He gave me my love of science fiction and encouraged my love of video games. He was an avid WoW player and his guild even sent me a condolence card, which I still have somewhere. My advice? Forgive and forget as much as you're able. Parents are only around for so long and you'll never get that time back. Yes they may be annoying, others may be truly awful and a relationship with some parents will never work. But to me it seems like you want one so yeah, be honest, and try as long as it works.
  9. It does seem a bit unfair that really old people, who will die soon, are choosing the future of a country (countries) they will no longer be a part of.
  10. The Pokemon showing was so dull switched off and missed the Zelda demo. (Though that's probably for the best as buying Zelda is a given and I don't need to know anymore anyway). Pokemon is alright but 45 minutes on 2 (early) battles and walking?
  11. It's not that much of a leap. A leap would be expecting NX to have full third-party support, more than one game released a month and have less than twelve controllers.
  12. I really hope this board reflects the voting public.
  13. The majority seem to disagree. The ratings for this season have been the highest consistently to date. I've loved this season so far, possibly my favourite.
  14. I would guess that the VR version is always first person, for that extra horror element. The normal version might incorporate a third person perspective.
  15. To start with, well actually until they revealed the title, I thought it was The Last of Us 2. But yeah those zombies were horrible (in a good way). It'll be one of those games I play in short bursts.
  16. Really glad I pre-ordered PSVR months back. Farpoint looks great. Sci-fi games are going to own VR, taking us to places we'll never be able to go in real life. October can't come quickly enough.
  17. I'm glad Resi has changed it up a bit (a lot). And anything even slightly as scary as PT is good in my book.
  18. Loved that the lead character (new to the franchise so don't know if he's always the lead) was voiced by Chris Judge (Teal'c from SG-1)
  19. I want 95% of the games they showed.
  20. It looked amazing. Haven't been exxcited about a Resident Evil since 4. Had P.T. (Silent Hills) vibes. Although I've pre-ordered PSVR, not sure I'll cope with horror VR..
  21. 5PM BST .....
  22. I missed it last time around so am really looking forward to this!
  23. Don't really see the problem in people enjoying something.
