I won't be purchasing it at all. I was not really fond of the original that much and I tend not to buy Nintendo remakes anymore as I don't play them for very long - mostly due to playing them to death in the years previous.

I don't consider GoT the worst of the bunch. But then I love GoT and loved that the actual actors lent their voices to the game.

I got all the way past the woods. Then I just got too scared about dying to continue. haha

When the WiiU released the whole system was prone to freezing. The console itself was buggy.

We should probably stop selling weapons to the middle-east for a start.

I got too scared to continue with Bloodborne. I really want to go back and restart but it terrifies me. And is difficult. Very difficult!

I'm not making excuses, you're getting overly defensive again. I'm sure we can agree that the majority of people with a Wii U could be described as more hardcore Nintendo fans that have probably already played the original versions. From what I gather it's understood that a lot of people have moved over from Nintendo to other consoles this generation, especially if this forum is anything to go by. These people will probably not have had a chance to play the franchises exclusive to other systems before, so the remakes garner much more interest. And also, Wind Waker is older than Twilight Princess so it's understandable there'll be more people around now that hadn't played it before.

True but doesn't really change what I said:

The difference being that a lot of people who own a WiiU have probably already owned these remakes in the past. However a lot of people who never owned other consoles before have jumped ship this generation, and lapped up all of the other remakes as they've never played/owned the originals before.

I enjoyed about 7 seconds of that direct. (Zelda WiiU) I also thought Twilight Princess was going to feature a swiping transition revealing the glorious new HD-ness but no. That was the HD version. Nothing piqued my interest. Just means it'll save me money for other games on other systems.

Although I didn't get a chance to ask at the Toronto Film Festival, the impression the creators gave was that this was the end of the story they wanted to tell.

Never really cared for the Enterprise intro, neither the aired music (singing, really?) or the visuals. Preferred their space-based intros. And with regards to the Stargates, I loved the music but the visuals were always a bit too 90's for my liking. I didn't mind the film-inspired one too much:

Some shows don't need lengthy openers. I like HBO's Girls which just throws up the word Girls with different music/tone each week depending on the episode subject matter. And yeah it's taken me five episode to get used to The Leftover's new opening: It's no where near as good but is hilarious in it's tonal quality when compared to the bleakness of the show.

Apparently they're keeping the X-Files intro exactly the same for the new season.

I finished this last night. I thought it was a great ending. I didn't understand everything but I feel that may be because I haven't seen the first season in so long and that some things are meant to be left unanswered/decided by the viewer. A great series and glad they didn't drag it on for years.

I played them both through a few months ago and they're both great and both much better than the series in terms of memorable characters that you care about. The show has its moments but is mostly awful.

To be fair I find their videos unwatchable due to his voice. It's not only annoying but he speaks way too quickly most of the time.

Just placed my pre-order. I'm rubbish at these types of games but y'know, Star Wars. Hopefully I can just crank the music all the way up and die repeatedly to the lovely tunes.

I wouldn't say Splatoon was that groundbreaking, especially if you don't consider Minecraft to be. It's basically Mario Sunshine on opposite day.

AC is the only franchise from that list I play and even then, not every one. And I certainly didn't purchase a PS4 for them.

I've got far too much to play as it is!

I've got everything I need with a PS4 and its Netflix/Amazon apps.

I don't understand why people moan about yearly AC games. You don't have to get them all. I took a break after Black Flag and came back for this one. (Luckily I appear to have skipped the shit ones.) And the settings are always quite different, even if the gameplay isn't miles apart.
