indeed. the wii was never meant to compete with the other two consoles graphically, but as long as companies continue to make games that look completely shit, even by gamecube standards, it will only give nintendo a terrible rep in the eye of 'the non ninty gamer'. and now, my def of non ninty is refering to those people who dont actually know that splendid looking games like metroid and mario galaxy are out there. it makes you wonder whether nintendo DOES actually filter the games that make it onto their consoles... "nah mate, that looks shit. thatll only make US look bad"

so anyone buying the wii version WONT be able to play it like a 'classic' zelda game with a gamecube controller. ugh, this is one thing i was hoping nintendo wouldnt do. i would really have prefered it if they canned the gamecube version and just made the wii one 'gamecube controller compatible' or something....

wouldnt call it a backstab. he is a nintendo man, and has to promote his company! i cant remember who said 'buy both consoles', but if they were an xbox person, they are completely insane. they are simply trying to find justification for people buying the xbox console over the sony one, but in the riskiest way possible.... plugging the 3rd console!

i cant quote UK prices and the like, but id say to go for NiMH batteries, they are the sort that are advised for digital cameras and the like. They last a LONG time in gameboys, can be recharged heaps, and for something like a remote, will last even longer. they are pretty expensive... but hey, you get what you pay for!

online isnt hard. i have played the odd emulated game *snigger* using the ZSNES program, and online is possible. i have played bomberman using a dial up connection, and that wasnt too bad!!!! Blue Ninja0 sums it up perfectly.

is that all? my one cooks my dinner for me... even does the washing up! but on a more serious note... the gamecube to me was nothing more than a more powerful piece of hardware from the n64. sure there was amazing and creative games... but, nothin more than that. lol, it did always give me the false hope of a new realistic zelda title. man, ive been following that TP princess stuff for ages. and yes, i do know its coming to gamecube, but, i really cant be buggered with that if im getting a wii.

lol, dude, i am australian! lived here all of my life! and i enjoy being able to experience the weekend before other countries in the world! im just a bit cynical when it comes to 'nintendo and australia', because, to be honest, it has never been the best thing. i doubt that they will be activated straight away. nintendo wont let the release date out until they want to be heard.... wait for leipzig! only a little over a week now. and i just wanna note on the 'release in a day thing'... although this sounds stupid. which it is. very. it would also mean that australia would get a jump on the rest of the world! (AEST +10hrs) and that is not going to happen. i swear, we must pay other countries to be behind in technology and be all charming and the like

beat adventure mode on normal or harder... i dont know the conditions exactly, but i think you need to be fairly quick, and not lose any continues. and yeah, usually see giga bowser when i play. +=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= anyway. as for character ideas, i do think that goku and cloud are silly ideas. nintendo wont put characters into a game simply as a revenue raiser. if they want to haul the sony fan boys, i think they doing a good enough job with Snake. (we got mother fuckin snake!!!!!!) and if goku somehow gets into it, mickey mouse has just as much right. WHERE DO YOU DRAW THE LINE? in the brawl trailer, we hear snake say 'ahh, that nintendo thing'. and that is where the line is people. we want a) game characters. so chars like goku, donald duck, lawnmower man, bart simpson and even robocop, who may have starred in their own game, but originated from external means.... OUT! we want none of these characters. this is a battle between the video game characters of the ages! not just a dodgy: "who do you think would win in a fight between between the tooth fairy and the terminator? they both have their good points..." b) nintendo stars. otherwise we may as well put friggen master chief, tommy (gta), parappa the rappa, ratchet and clank and a sly raccoon into the game. i know that cloud may be considered 'cool' and somewhat of a 'hero' to many people... but, he is also the symbol of squaresofts affiliation to sony, and how nintendo fans will never see a 'true' final fantasy again. for those who are still confused about this, maybe you should... i dunno. throw yourself out of a window or something.

i agree with nintendods. 99% sure of it being out in aus this year. and and and, i reckon it wont go over $400. as ive said before, EB WILL match any other deal. so seeing as toysrus are doing a free launch title bundle. EB by default will as well. for this, $400 aint too bad. consider the game to be $70 (think of it as a low-end game like wii-sports), and then basically the console is $330. which is cool! and while im at it, the glass is half full!

ok. today i got onto the toysrus head office in australia. which was quite amusing to say the least. the first person told me they had little information on the free game, i then told her my dilemma (it could be a VC game, or a gamecube one) and so she put me onto her boss! so anyway, the boss in turn didnt know too much about it... and then put me onto someone higher up again! awesome! anyway. this guy actually knew what he was talking about (he a nintendo fan) and he basically told me: 1) toys r us love nintendo, and will always offer the best deals where nintendo is concerned. 2) the free game WILL be a launch title 3) not sure which one as of yet, or whether we get a choice. 4) electronics boutique employees are a bunch of whiners. 5) stay tuned! as soon as we get launch info, we will be able to know what is happening EXACTLY with the 'free game' deal. this basically puts to rest any fears of getting anything stupid with this deal.
