is it just me, or is just about everything this guy says amazingly funny/true? this statement had me laughing to myself... because jeez i hate starwars games. i have had a pleasant surprise with games, not gamecube though. a while back i loaned my neighbour some megadrive games... and somehow one of the shit games got replaced with sonic2! at first i wanted to march all the way to their new house (because they had just moved) and demand my game back.. then i thought to myself... "hang on... ive come out better in this. what the HELL am i DoING?" ahhh good times

AD is the best sitcom ever. you cant simply 'watch a few episodes' because most of the jokes are plot specific. so you REALLY need to watch it from the start, and then keep going. hey ashley, watch the first couple of episodes again! you will notice that there are jokes in season 2 even that make references to the first couple! amazing show! its always been said that wii would be good for rts games. and hd tvs are becoming quite cheap now. im starting to see 'small hd tvs' for sale, about 100$AUD more than the usual crt price.

havent looked at them yet (dial up....) but will do when i get to uni tomorrow. the couple that i remember from the top of my head were : the WW one, which wasnt too bad (not epic enough for a zelda one) the zelda 1. with the guy running around making noises japanese crazy rap zelda one. the one with zelda in a cage, and all the people dancing. heh, i actually dont mind it. its quite funny, but id hate to see it released outside of japan.

qft. and when you see 'final fantasy #' out on ps2 with awesome graphics, and then ffcc out on gamecube (which, sadly, is nothing on the 'true' ff franchise) it further pushes the gamecube is weaker falesy.

qft, i dont know what people are meaning by 'hardcore zelda'. but the game will be more serious, and have a darker feel to it. majoras mask had this feel, and i think twilight princess will have it moreso. looking forward to it!

ill side with ALTTP. out of zelda awesomeness, id put majoras mask on the top, and i would put as equal second OOT and WW and then ALTTP. so i guess: MM>WW=OOT>ALTTP it is very hard to rank these games, as we all know too well that WW, OOT and ALTTP all play so different. its like comparing peas and peahens.... (or some other awesome analogy. maybe i should have got Kojima to do it for me)

(nerd - knowledge, geek - technology) also, snake isnt THE (nb. capital letters, underline and bold) selling point of the new smash bros game. it will do just as well without him. kojima is like god. why do you ask? well, i just felt like being like kojima and making my own analogy (which im not bad at). kojima is a master creator, who does a lot of good for the world. but also tends to do a lot of questionable things. a lot of people worship him, and an equal number reject him,. and both gave their only son for our sins..... well. i dont think kojima did. but what do i know?

in its time, the water temple was hard. as with the one in MM, but now playing them again, they are easy as. never had trouble on the MM-fish boss. the only thing that could be considered tricky is learning to 'fish leap' out of the water. ie. where you are under water, aim yourself for the surface, and fly out of the water, landing on the platform. most enjoyed zelda temple and boss for me would have to be the spirit temple.

i agree. also agree with shino about following the fads. but thats just what we like to call 'high school'. like, teeny boppers who follow the trends and the like. and yeah, i would like to say fiercelink, that you didnt finish mario sunshine 100% because it was a shit game. i found the same. i beat the last boss, got all the 'findable' shines. but i never went blue coin hunting. i couldnt be arsed doin it again. at the same time, ive never finished a final fantasy game. i played ff7, got all my characters up to level 90ish, beat the ruby weapon, but i couldnt be arsed going down and taking out sephiroth. ff9 i loved, got up to last boss, died, never played again. ffcc i did the same thing. well, seeing as i have played since the NES era, and am informed, i guess im considered hardcore.

As the thread title suggests, yes i have just bought a freeloader. and no shit, with all the new games that im getting, it feels as if i have bought a new console. you may only be able to appreciate this as a PAL gamer. but the second that i got this thing in my hands, so many more good games became available to me, that i swear i would never see in Australia. already i own Skies of Arcadia and Megaman X collection, and im sure that once i feel confident in my bank account again, ill be purchasing more. advise to PAL gamers who are tired of their cube, get a freeloader. that is all.

naturally this would depend on what games were available... but given the off chance that mostly everything were available, i would go for: super mario rpg starwing chrono trigger MAYBE secret of mana. its a tough one, because i actually have this on cart and a multitap, so id only be getting it for the sake of 'its the best game ever'. i would hope that this game is on everyones list. because 3p of this is the best thing ever. no shit.
