-Do you reckon that to get any speech correct in the mirror version, they run everything through sound recorder and then hit the reverse button? -Or MAYBE the wii disc runs backwards! I wonder if this makes it easier to copy... -Would be hilarious if Link goes to take a swig of potion but drops it because he is using his opposite hand... and in general, has problems with sword fighting because he is totally uncko at using his opposite hand! Anyway. I've had my fun for the morning. I'm sure that you guys can come up with more witty remarks, just like me and Bender. Who I'm sure isn't standing in front of a mirror right now trying to talk backwards. I'm happy with the way TP is shaping up, so if anybody has a problem with the backwards thing, maybe you should set up a mirror system next to your television so you CAN play everything in reverse. It would probably be quicker doing that than making ridiculous posts about how the whole Zelda series is ruined because Link spanks with his right hand now instead of his left.

the monkey ball one is very nice. and out of the zelda ones... i prefer the black one!!! but then again, have a look at this little pic thats on the ign site. this too it being passed off as boxart... Link (pardon the pun) and THIS looks so much better. the wii logo across the top is nicer too!

Dont know if it has been posted yet or not... Miyamotos comments at ign on the 'right handed Link' Saucy That mirror mode thing... very interesting! So its not just a tweak of the characters, but the whole game is in reverse!!! This reminds me of the mirror cup in mario kart... EDIT: beat ya :P

On the n64, I became quite masterful at the bow and arrow. It was quite difficult when using the Gamecube controls! Especially after adapting to FPS controls and the like. I think the new game mechanics will be brilliant.

Idiot fanboys. That's all I have to say. I prefer the ps3 vs. wii 'apple style' ad. This is very amusing, and is much better than some guy who can't even spell the word 'controller' and various other words before publishing a piece on the internet. And yes, the Wii in this video is being depicted as slutty. But thats fine! That is what the system is going to be! As soon as I saw all the wii-channel stuff, I have been put on the back foot thinking that Nintendo are justing going for a bullshit trendy market. I have always argued that there isn't a place in a games console for a dvd player, it's just an add-on that is completely unnecessary. But the wiichannels take the cake! If 1/4 is earning >£100,000 , then to lower the average wage to £25,000 the remaining 3/4 must be earning £0 or be in debt! i got no other suggestions apart from saving money, or street crime.

Thanks Dante for the boxart. I think it's really good, except for the Wii thing in the corner. (I will go with the general concensus on this one...) I'm sure that when people say that the game is 'entirely mirrored', they actually mean "Link is now right handed". If it were mirrored, im fairly sure that the dungeons would be back to front... and reading stuff would be most painful. @ZeldaFreak Interesting point about the lack of 'exclusive advertising' on the covers. I am seriously wondering whether these are the real covers.... but then again, since Dante found them, they have to be real!!! @Vions I love that trailer. I was hooked on zelda before seeing it... but christ, that trailer made me warm and fuzzy on the inside! And, watching it again, it still sends a shiver down my spine!

perrin said the wii was region free. Yaranton said the games were region encoded. They were talking about different things! You can take your wii to another country, but that doesnt mean that you can play the local games! read between the lines people!

I like the sound of that. I plan on getting the wii version. But then again, I am quite fit anyway Nobody here can say whether we are gonna get tired or not. It's going to have to be a hands on experience thing. But I really dont see how anyone is going to get tired. Because in the end, all that you guys will be doing is slashing the sword with a flick of the wrist. And we all know how good some of these forum members at that!

Australian Price: $400 Ok. I'm sure a bunch of you are well aware that I was quite annoyed at the release price of the Nintendo Wii in Australia. But since then, I have come to terms with it, and even think that I am coming out the better for it. I guessss that Nintendo understands that a lot of retailers in Australia (and probably the world) are offering great deals. For example, I placed my preorder on Saturday morning (Euro conference was on Friday night, Australia time) with Toys r Us. Now when you preorder with them, you get a free game. Oh yes thats right! $400 = Nintendo Wii + Wii Sports + Free game of choice (ie. zelda!) It isn't all bad! My only concern is the cost of the Wiimote and the nunchuck. Because I would like to play Wiisports with 4 players, but for all those extra wiimotes and extra nunchucks, it'll cost an additional $210. I think what I might have to do is convince more people to get it at launchl I'm pretty sure my best mates are getting one as well, so I might just have to get one additional... I dont know. Viva la Wii!!!!!

Not in the slightest. A world launch doesnt mean months apart. Expect a release date for the end of November. Also, seeing as the Australian launch details are going to be revealed, here is the time for those in AEST!
