shade Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 That sounds about right. Just wait before starting the hate rants people
Beano Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Probably because the clokecs got moved forward an hour,we will actually get the games at midnight instead of the usual 11pm. Well, the clocks went forward for us in continental Europe too so I would imagine that the new releases would be out at exactly the same time as last week. Oh well: I'll wait another few minutes. edit: guess you guys where right. This weeks new releases are: - Dragon's Curse (Turbografx) - Punch-Out!! (NES) - The Legend of Mystical Ninja (SNES)
Smiter Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 PUNCH-OUT!?! MYSTICAL NINJA!?! *goes to heaven* Guess I'll be picking up a few Wii Points tomorrow then. ^_^ (Never heard of Dragon's Curse...)
Dante Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 NES Punch-Out!! Super NES The Legend of The Mystical Ninja TurboGrafx 16 Dragon’s Curse
dazzybee Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Mytical Ninja was awesome, great mini games, great action platformer. How well it holds up is another matter, but I remember loving it!!!
flameboy Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 it is awesome, I recommend everyone downloads it, can only hope now they release the N64 game as well, which I stupidly traded in...
Teppo Holmqvist Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Well, well.... Hudson has announced Battle Lode Runner for European VC. This should be extremely interesting title to most players, as it was never, ever, released in the west. Of course, original game doesn't contain any japanese text, but this should finally stop "ONLY EUROPEAN TITLES ON VC" rumours. http://vc-pce.com/eur/e/index.html
RedShell Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 it is awesome, I recommend everyone downloads it, can only hope now they release the N64 game as well, which I stupidly traded in...Yeah I'll second that recommendation, it's a fantastic game. The N64 version is also great (one of my favourite game soundtracks too) and will definitely be worth downloading if / when it hits the VC. Still got that for the N64, but I've not got the SNES game anymore so I'll probably download it once I finish Kid Icarus.
ReZourceman Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Whens my Donkey Kong Countrys coming to VC? I cant wait anymore!
welsh_gamer Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Whens my Donkey Kong Countrys coming to VC? I cant wait anymore! Probs won't get DK2 untill the end of the year, and DK3 sometime in 2008.
DiemetriX Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 The Legend of The Mystical Ninja is also a 2player game.. right?
ReZourceman Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Probs won't get DK2 untill the end of the year, and DK3 sometime in 2008. *Breaks down and cries*
dazzybee Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Yeah it is 2 player co-op. I cant wait to download this, hope its as good as I remember. Anyone know how good Punch out is? I love the SNES version.
DiemetriX Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 the snes version is far superior... but the nes version is stil good. But I'm waiting for super punchout.

welsh_gamer Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Kirby Bowl, known as Kirby's Dream Course in Europe. I remember really wanting this as a child, after seeing screenshots in NOM, but now I have just found out it is a golf game. Ugh
darksnowman Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Great to see Goemon on it! The N64 one is a great old game, and so was what I played of this SNES one back in the day. Well worth the download chaps, so get onto the Wii channel and add it to your collection! And, by the way, what do you think the likelyhood of the Breath of Fire games coming to the Virtual Console? (And soonish?!)
Teppo Holmqvist Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 And, by the way, what do you think the likelyhood of the Breath of Fire games coming to the Virtual Console? (And soonish?!) Capcom owns all rights to BoF, so quite high. Unfortunately, BoF I & II aren't really that good games, with I suffering from nearly incomprehensible* localization. * Yeah, it is really that bad. Most of the plot has been cut out, and about 15 % of dialog is pure engrish.
Gizmo Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I have Kirby's Dream Course on SNES. I really enjoy it, though as far as I know not alot of other people do. It's my kind of puzzle with skill involved game. And Star Fox in April is nice.
ShadowV7 Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I'm so tempted to get Goeman.Absolutely loved the N64 version,so i'm really hoping that will get added to the VC along with the second one.
Manaman Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Goemon FTW! I want to play the N64 game since it's the only title in the series I haven't played. Hopefully, the presence of Mystical Ninja paves the way for it.
