dabookerman Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Sora no Mori de by Kotoko for Onegai Sense Yume no Naka e for Kare Kano Kimi Sai Ireba for Love Hina Raspberry Heaven for Azumanga Daioh Agony by Kotoko for Kannazuki no Miko Welcome to the NHK, the first one for being crazy, Oduro Akachan Ningen, and i like the second ending because it has a nice piano bit at the beginning. Seems, that all the girl populated ones seem to have the best ED tunes.
Dante Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I just had a idea, I think it would be better if we youtube the videos.
dabookerman Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I just had a idea, I think it would be better if we youtube the videos. Sounds like a good idea, i will youtube my videos.
Supergrunch Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Here we go then: Honey & Clover Haruhi Mai-Hime (I couldn't find the actual ED video, but this is the singer singing it)
dabookerman Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Sora no Mori de by Kotoko for Onegai Sense (couldnt find credits for this one, so this looks like the official music video) Kimi Sae Ireba for Love Hina Raspberry Heaven for Azumanga Daioh Welcome to the NHK, the first one for being crazy, Odoru Akachan Ningen, and i like the second ending because it has a nice piano bit at the beginning.
The3rdChildren Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Evangelion and DragonBall Z have the best openings, period.
Guest Jordan Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Evangelion and DragonBall Z have the best openings, period. This ain't a flame or anything, but you haven't seen much anime outside of those.
The3rdChildren Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 This ain't a flame or anything, but you haven't seen much anime outside of those. That's actually more of a compliment, really.
Supergrunch Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Oh, if we're doing openings then: Mai-Otome OP 2 School Rumble Higurashi Haruhi (and from episode 00  )
Ten10 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 I like the Mai-otome second opening too way better than the first. As for Fav openings: Supershooter from Gantz And Dearest the ending theme for the Nadesico Movie.
dabookerman Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 ill post mine tomorrow Ahhh school rumble, I need to watch that, thats Yui Horie right? I love Yui Horie
Hellfire Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 So many good ones it's hard to say, the first Bleach opening from Asian Kung FU wass marvelous, the first Naruto ending, Wind from Akeboshi (Genious) is breath taking. There are waaaaaay to many.
Shorty Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Nope, not big on that first Naruto ED. The show with the worst ED has to be Evangelion. wth was up with that? It was the polar opposite of the OP. I was gonna youtube my choices but I frankly couldn't be bothered. BTW when Death Note first appeared, a lot of people didn't like that OP, but I really do. Edit: YUI - Rolling Star, the most recent Bleach OP, that's fantastic. The full single is the best.
Sanchez Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 By the way, anfs make the most horrendously terrible subs ever, the timing, editing and even the translation is totally off the mark sometimes. I recommend waiting for anyone else.

I recommend waiting for anyone else. I just noticed a missing line from that female shinigami, other than that seemed fine to me.
Oxigen_Waste Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Serial experiments Lain's op is my fav op. And closing... there are severall. Naruto's first and 9th ending (Akeboshi-Wind / No Regret Life - Nakushita Kotoba), Wolf's Rain (Maaya Sakamoto - Gravity) and a few others.

There are waaaaaay to many. The first bleach opening was "*~Asterisk~" by orange range. I did like that song, but my all time favourite was haruka kanata by ajikan, the second naruto opening, as it got me into them. The first naruto ending was great too and I also like both death note themes, nightmare are awesome.
demonmike04 Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Jashinism? Is Lord Jashin the leader of akatsuki, or a massive cult? Im starting to get into the Naruto II manga..
Shino Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Jashinism? Is Lord Jashin the leader of akatsuki, or a massive cult? Im starting to get into the Naruto II manga.. It's amazing how they can make a really good chapter, and do the complete opposite in the next one, that jutsu was really anti climatic.
demonmike04 Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Well not long til Naruto II starts, the animation looks superb in the trailer. I only read the plot line until chapter 335 were I thought I may aswell read the manga free.
Whizkid Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Is there a live action death note movie coming out?
Oxigen_Waste Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Is there a live action death note movie coming out? It won't be "coming out"... it's alread out... and there are 2 movies already (and a third one on the way): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0758742/ - the first one http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0810827/ - the second one
The3rdChildren Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Oh yeah, Trigun has an awesome opening too. Put me down rooting for H.T. Rockin' opening to a great series. And I guess, whilst I'm bored here are some more great ones: -Sonic X Opening -
Shorty Posted January 27, 2007 Posted January 27, 2007 Oh yeah, Trigun has an awesome opening too.I find that kind of dated it's very similar to the first Rurouni Kenshin OP (sans the vocals) - it feels very early-90s-big-hair.

For me that's part of the appeal. I am stuck in the past. Can't really bring myself to embrace all this new CGI-filled anime they're throwing out every week. Well, not until the new Eva movies at least.
