Cube Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 so... they are the official casses ? Zelda and Red Steel ones definitely are not official. Anyway...aren't the official cases white?
triforce_keeper Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 They are not the official cases. As Dante said, stand-ins. They probably just just spare dvd cases and printed some un-official boxart off and stuck them on them. Easy.
Dante Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Zelda and Red Steel ones definitely are not official. Anyway...aren't the official cases white? Zelda :TP case has the real boxart.
mariosmentor Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I hope that the red steel boxart is the artistic version rather than a bunch of 3d models thrown together and slightly blurred.
Cube Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Zelda :TP case has the real boxart. Isn't the official one gold?
ShadowV7 Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Isn't the official one gold? I prefer the one that's on the box to the gold one.
triforce_keeper Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Im liking the gt boxart. Nice and sleek.
Hellfire Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 Im liking the gt boxart. Nice and sleek. except for the giant "FREE STEERING WHEEL INCLUDED" icon.
triforce_keeper Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 except for the giant "FREE STEERING WHEEL INCLUDED" icon. yup Looks out of place.
Raven Posted October 16, 2006 Posted October 16, 2006 I prefer the one that's on the box to the gold one. Agree 100% with you here. The black boxart looks a lot more snazzy than the gold one!
antster1983 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Wii Sports one does its job, even though it's going to be packaged with the Wii anyway
gj15987 Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Wow, I think the Wii sports one is very nice.
Kurtle Squad Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Wii Sports one does its job, even though it's going to be packaged with the Wii anyway At least Nintendo give you cases, unlike the XBoxes crappy paper wallets. Ubisoft are giving away a lot of those Steering Wheels; they must be as cheap as Kimimaro on Naruot: GNT4 GT Pro should have a darker background.
Stocka Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I'm glad WiiSports comes in a case, I was kind of worried it wouldn't, but instead some shitty sleeve or something.
Guest Jordan Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 The boxes are very DS like, has to be said. I'm happy we're getting white cases. They'll stand out from my GC and XBOX/XBOX360 stuff.
Cube Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 US Wii Sports boxshot, and points card image? http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g222/mrfong/ebwiisheet.jpg Size of Wii Console box: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g222/mrfong/wiibox.jpg So, the base is a bit smaller than the width of a DVD Case. It's tiny (for a console box).
monkeyDluffy Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 i want to know what that start up disk thing is all about!
ShadowV7 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Best bet is to wait till it launches in the US.
demonmike04 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Best bet is to wait till it launches in the US. Or be impatient.... but theres no way thats gonna help. 50 days fella's.
Kraser Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Well, i heard in this forum, in another topic (don't remember) that...the startup disc was probably a demo showing how the controllers work.
