Retro_Link
It's a great move by Nintendo to carry over the really successful DS franchises on to the Wii; That way people looking at the console will immediately be able to identify with a number of the games, know what they're about etc... and it's much more likely they'll want to try the Wii! Retro_Link
Wonder why it's not 4 player? Surely that would make best use of it as a kind of learning party game
Balfron
I wonder if they will have the stat tracking elements of Brain Training in this game. Looks like they are angling more for the fun, simpler BBA look...
DCK
Wow, that's pretty cool. Wonder how they'll manage well without touch screen.

gaggle64
I wondered how long it would take to get this kind of thing onto the Wii. Now we just need Animal Crossing Wii and a Nintendogs follow-up, and Nintendo will have to dig another under-water cavern to store their vast riches. Teppo Holmqvist
Wonder why it's not 4 player? Surely that would make best use of it as a kind of learning party game Maybe because Brain Academy's "puzzles" require lots of space from the screen? ShadowV7
I'm really hoping with the success of the Brain games in Japan this will help boost the sales a bit over there for the Wii.
mcj metroid
Wonder why it's not 4 player? Surely that would make best use of it as a kind of learning party game noo nintendo don't do this again. Why do they refuse to do 4 player? Why is excite truck 2 player and why oh why is wario ware 1 player(I don't care for alternate multiplayer)
dazzybee
Only 4 player is such a ridiculous move. This means that what was once a must buy for me has become a no-no. Surely 4 player would have been stupidly easy to implement. The DS has single card 4 player!!!!
mcj metroid
exactly nintendo are becomming too lazy for my liking. Wario ware was taking the piss like
Eenuh
Like Teppo said, it might be too difficult to get four puzzles on a screen; you still want to be able to see what you're doing. Two player sounds good enough to me; I never got anyone in my family to even play BBA against me anyway. =( But yeah, Wario Ware I was disappointed by the multiplayer; it's pretty sucky. mcj metroid
Maybe because Brain Academy's "puzzles" require lots of space from the screen? If we can have 4 player split screen mario on the n64 where we can see what's happening i think we can have 4 puzzles.
Eenuh
If we can have 4 player split screen mario on the n64 where we can see what's happening i think we can have 4 puzzles. Yeah but remember that now you're using the Wiimote to point at the screen, which would be more difficult to do if you only had a small square to work with. Seeing as this is aimed at people from all ages, they don't want to make it more difficult by making the screens smaller.
mcj metroid
maybe but that didn't stop red steel. Look that isn't a proper excuse it is just lazyness. If you don't want to play 4 player then don't but at least give us the option. i refuse to believe that a handheld game gives us more. this game will fair crap because of that

Not everyone is great at pointing the wiimote around, or has such great eyes that they can see the screen very well. Just don't buy the game then if you think it's gonna suck because it doesn't have four player.
Cube
Excite Truck and Wario Ware's multiplayer is still a lot of fun...it's not that big an issue that you have to take turns.
mcj metroid
the ds has an even smaller screen sure and it's the same game aimed at the same audience. Ok fair enough looking at your own screen might be easier than being confused by another 3 splits. I only plan on getting this if it is a REAL budget title otherwise.........nah Excite Truck and Wario Ware's multiplayer is still a lot of fun...it's not that big an issue that you have to take turns. well the gamecube multiplayer is 10 times better though because of that. It's a missed oppertunity
Cube
the ds has an even smaller screen sure and it's the same game aimed at the same audience. Touching is a hell of a lot easier than long-distance pointing.
mcj metroid
It is still not a good excuse.....Oh this is going to just be one of those things that people will realise is a problem when the game is actually reviewed. I said the same thing about wario and the same thing was said to me.
