True, it would be unwise not to have a back-up, but still - you don't make back-ups constantly.

Yeah, I thought that as well before seeing the description. Still, the silence when he smashes the laptop seems more serious. In any case, if it was an old laptop, it was kind of a cool thing to do (whether you agree with his opinion on laptops in class or not) - if not, then I've made my opinion clear.
