God, have you even looked at the pictures?

The top panel of the Revolution houses 4 GameCube controller ports and 2 GameCube memory ports.. this is hidden by a flap to maintain an elegant design when not in use. Well known fact since TGS 2005.

The front on the flap is still unknown.. rumour has it in a press event Satoru Iwata pointed to the Revolution's flap and said "the real Revolution is in here" though I have not personally read any report online of him saying this.

Rumours suggest it is a SD card slot.. I think it is unlikely that it is an extra usb slot which was also suggested because there's already 2 on the back.

It's not any kind of sensor and we know that the DVD dongle which is 'self contained internally' on the bottom serial port of the Revolution much like the GameCube's ports are on the bottom.

It's hard to say.. from a design point of view with chipsets it would be very easy to put the SD card slots on the top of the console where the GameCube ports are. It would be simpler chipset design by having all slots on one plane like a typical mother board.

I'm not sure.

I think it's the 'big secret'

For your information I did know that the top slot stored the the gamecube controller sockets. I was referring to the flap at the front of the console, as the thread is about what is in the front flap.

I don't like the way you wrote that, it was quite disrespectful. How about this. Even if someone did make a mistake, why not be polite and correct them with a little respect. Think you could try that?

Whatever else is in the flap could be where the 'wand' send's the signal's to the Revolution. If the 3rd secret isn't to do the control then I don't think it will be in the flap.

Side note - Happy Birthday LazyBoy :bouncy:

Thanks mate, i'll have to give you a game of Hunters or Mario Kart sometime.

The problem with the idea that the third secret is in the flap is that it means the secret would be hardware related. Now I seem to remember something about the secret being controller related, but if it isn't, which is easily possibly considering all the fake sources that have appeared over the past year, then what could the secret be?

I think the last secret might be controller related, like feedback from the game e.g if you have a game with a sword and if your fighting someone with a sword and the swords hit each other it will cause a rumble like you hit a sword in real life.Apart from that I don't have a clue what else it could be.

I'm sensing a little hostility from certain posts in this thread. But what do I know? I'm just a cock who thinks the Katamari creator is a fanboy.

Hahaha, a little hostility? You could cut the tension in here with an axe.

Come on, guys. Bad karma.

I just had a look at the picture in one of the earlier posts...

How are you supposed to connect the Wavebrid Wireless RF receiver into those controller ports if the lid is blocking it? Will you be able to plug it in upside down into the controller ports while the Revolution console is standing on its stand, and wouldn't 4 gamecube controllers connected make it rather clumbersome with the cords? I guess though that primarily its really only there for true backward compatability and not for every single Revolution owner to fill up every single controller port.

So I read about the secret of the nunchaku, and it seems pretty logical. Though its so close to E3 that I really don't know what to belive anymore.

Posted
if the nunchaku rumor is true it will probley lack the yaw of the revmote which allows you to pull and push.

yeah I think its main purpose is just to aim in what direction to walk

Ha 'My Name is Earl' is great.I think the Wavebird will fit in,but why is the number of dots that show's the player number round the wrong way.I'm guessing it's because it's nearer where you enter disc's and if it was further away and you pull it might pull the Rev clsoer and fall.Any other thought's on that? That picture just look's damn nice.

I thought there was a seperate box that goes on top of your TV that recieves the signal from the wand? sorry if that isn't what you meant.

I can't seem to get into My Name is Earl. Watched it last night and I just didn't find it that funny. Green Wing is hilarious though

According to some rumour, the third secret is that the analog controller has its own accelerometer. I don't believe it, but you can read it here (among other places ... strange that this hasn't been posted here already).

Now, what's behind that front flap.

I've just read this 2 minutes agon on GO Nintendo. I don't get why everyone is going on about this. Why would Nintendo be thinking about including 2 FHC with the system if this rumour was true. I guess this isn't the place to talk abou it though.

Effectivley if this was true there would be 2 FHC included with the Rev. It could just be Nintendo being secretive, making us think they are including 2 revmotes when in reality its just one revmote and the other bit.

TBH I totally 100% don't believe this rumor. The nunchuck just seems too small to fit all the tech in the AND if Nintendo wanted their movement device to have a control stick they would have put one on the FHC (which has the same 2 easily reachable buttons).

Sorry if you think I'm having a go at you Shodan it's just that it's late, I should be doing coursework and I can't seem to write the above comment in a non arsey form. please forgive:heh:
