Ellmeister Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 All those girls are hot.. plastic girls are hot. Definitely 'fuckable'. I wish every man was like you bard.. I would have all the plastics to myself. Also Layer cake is an awesome film, its like a much more sophisticated version of snatch and lock stock and 2 smoking barrels. I prefer the other 2 though
Happenstance Posted June 5, 2007 Posted June 5, 2007 American Dreamz - 7/10 Just finished watching this on Sky and im suprised how much I enjoyed it considering the fact that I dont really like shows like X Factor. The humour in it was actually quite subtle and clever in places, mostly when they were taking digs at America and George Bush.
The Bard Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Garden State. Firstly: 10/10. It's one of the best movies I've ever seen, everything about it appeals to me...even if there's something wrong with it, I wouldn't notice because it's got so much heart. Totally brilliant, everyone should watch it.
Noodleman Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Watched Clerks 2 earlier, Great film nice end to the "view askewniverse" not as good as the first which is a classic, but still well worth a watch or 3. Rosario Dawson 7/10
killthenet Posted June 6, 2007 Posted June 6, 2007 Slacker Took me a while to get hold of, but totally worth it. Linklater's second film, very similar to "Waking Life" just without the whole dream thing. Gives us a glimpse into the lives of the strang people of Austin, Texas and strange interactions that they have with other inhabitants. Not as good as "Waking Life", but engrossing nonetheless. 7/10
Oxigen_Waste Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels Well, I love Snatch. And I just had to see Guy Ritchie's first masterpiece, didn't I? What can I say? If I had to choose one of the two, even though they're both great, I think I liked Lock, Stock a bit more. Brilliant! 9/10. Vinnie Jones = God.

I think totally the same, except snatch I thought was just that bit more better. Vinnie Jones= THE God :P
Monopolyman Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 The Silence of the Lambs The first time I watched it, I was disappointed. I watched it again, and I thought it was a lot better, although I still thought it was a little disappointing. I suppose it's because there isn't as much plot as it suggests. Never-the-less, it still is a thrilling detective story, but the performances were what stood out the most. I think everyone knows & agrees about Hopkins fucking legendary psychopath portrayal, but also, Jodie Foster presents perhaps one of my favourite female performances ever. 8/10

Daft Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Mean Girls Really good film, really funny!! 9/10 *Dives for cover!*
Hellfire Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 The hunted Crappy movie, but it's always nice to see americans tackling japanese culture. Also, I hate Lambert. Danny the Dog Awesome stuff. Jet Li, Morgan Freeman and Bob Hoskins ftw!

As who? it's been years since i've seen it and i love him in films......Especially..... highlander(there should have been only one) Not haunting, the hunted. Ocean's 13 While the movie itself is nothing spectacular it has kick ass actors, kick ass music, nice comedy, smart stuff and is very stylish.
welsh_gamer Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Pirates of the Carribean : The curse of the Black Pearl Great story, original, good set pieces and a few laughs along the way, and the best of the lot. Barbosa rules! 9/10 Pirates of the Carribean : Dead Man's Chest Quite enjoybale, with hillarious set pieces. Story not so great tho. Concentrated on the laughs to much. 7/10
Monopolyman Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Mean Girls Really good film, really funny!! 9/10 *Dives for cover!* That was a ridiculously enetertaining film, actually. Anyway Casino It's similar to Goodfellas, except that it deals with the white-collar side of the mafia, and whilst Goodfellas main theme was about the glamour of life as a gangster, this looked at the pressures of it. In my opinion, it doesn't touch Goodfellas. It doesn't draw you in as much, but it's still an intriging film about the mob in Vegas 7.5/10
Oxigen_Waste Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 I just saw the complete Trois Colours trilogy, all in one. Will post a "rating later", must think.
mcj metroid Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Not haunting, the hunted. . my mistake sorry. I knew it wasn't going mad.
dannyg Posted June 10, 2007 Posted June 10, 2007 Just after watching 'Hot Fuzz', its quite funny in the first half but I thought that the shoot-out at the end wasn't really that great, shoulda just stuck with the humour. 7/10, a good laugh but not a patch on 'Shaun of the Dead' to be honest
Hellfire Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Is it out in cinemas yet? I... uh... went to USA. Yeah. But, not, not in EU I think.
Oxigen_Waste Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 3-Iron (Bin Jip) Anyone who has watched this will understand the rating. 9.5/10 All hail Korean cinema.
The Bard Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Layer Cake. Well made I suppose, but it's not my kinda thing. For the same reason I didn't enjoy Snatch. I just can't get into the whole cockney gangster thing. Still...7/10.
BeerMonkey Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Shrek the third wasnt as funny as the first two but was still alright worth a watch 7/10
Ellmeister Posted June 11, 2007 Posted June 11, 2007 Aeon Flux Utter shit. 2/10 I feel I lost valuable hours of my life.
