The little round boy seems to be getting some kind of Fall Guysesque* title this Summer on the eShop.

*Turns out it's racing and then at the end you do the fight thing shown

So, the Colosso mini-game from Golden Sun?

I'm down for that!

Well the original post got a lot of reactions. I'm a sad face away from a full sweep.

Unfortunately, Kirby illicits everything except sadness!

You were doomed to failure before you even started!

I'm always moved to tears (of joy) looking at Kirby

Kirby's Dream Buffet announced for the Nintendo Switch eShop

Now up on the main page.

No press release, so I've included the one-line N-Europe Quote, and the video.

Anyone else pick this up? I bought it yesterday evening and it's been enjoyable so far but I think many will struggle to get any real replay value out of the game. A session lasts about 5-7 minutes and consists of a couple of races and a couple of battles. You then get awarded exp points for where you place and each time you level up you unlock a cosmetic item or new music from past Kirby games. That's pretty much all there is to it. Unless you like grinding exp (thankfully I do) then I would give the game a miss.

It does remind me a little of Kirby Air Ride on the Gamecube. In that game you had mini games to power up Kirby and then a main section at the end of it. It feels a little like that but not as deep. One thing that is annoying is that there are bonuses dished out at the end of the game and these are pretty random. They can be for things like collecting the most strawberries or spending most time in the air. These bonuses can tip the scales for a victory and it feels pretty cheap. They remind me very much of the bonus stars that get dished out after a game of Mario Party.

I do want to play it but not having friends nearby to play it with (yes I know you can play online) it feels like it would be a lesser experience

Like every other Kirby eShop game, the online is a laggy mess and that's with me using an ethernet adapter.

It's all well and good using an ethernet adapter, but unless everyone else is using one, it won't help much.
