killthenet Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 I will refrain from making any bold predictions in future 2
Glen-i Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 ANYWAY! Enough about crummy games people say they want, but don't actually want. Trust me, you don't. It's for your own good. @S.C.G, @BowserBasher. DCubed is free, so we have a full room, any particular 4-player game you want to play at 8:30.

Dcubed Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 Nah, let’s do a GBA/Four Swords night tonight. 1
Glen-i Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 This Tetris would be utterly demolished by The Tetris Guidelines if it came out today. Also, the music sucks. 2 1
S.C.G Posted December 13, 2024 Posted December 13, 2024 The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack - N-Europe Multiplayer (13/12/2024) Thanks for the games.
Glen-i Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Right, so BowserBasher can't make it for our weekly NSO session, so there's a free spot available tonight if any of you want to join in. 8:30 tonight. And if you want to play a specific N64/GBA game, let us know.

Glen-i Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 We're gonna swap to the Mature app for Perect Dark
Glen-i Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 OK, we're going to have to try it without DCubed, sometimes the internet connection doesn't like multiple people at once here.
Dcubed Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 @Ike Press B to open doors in Perfect Dark!!
S.C.G Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 N64 Games on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack - N-Europe Multiplayer (20/12/2024) *Note - may not contain gameplay of Mario Kart 64, but eh... might as well reuse an old thumbnail. Perfect Dark on the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack - N-Europe Multiplayer (20/12/2024) Thanks for the games. 1

Glen-i Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 5 hours ago, Ike said: OK, but doors were the least of my problem Yeah, there are some N64 games where you can get away with using a Pro Controller. Perfect Dark ain't one of them. Kinda threw you in the deep end there, thanks for taking it in stride, at least. 1
Julius Posted Thursday at 09:50 PM Author Posted Thursday at 09:50 PM (edited) Connecting my NSO N64 Controller to my Switch for the first time and finding myself Googling "how to hold an N64 controller?" and feeling a thousand years old doing so... ...which is a bit ironic really because the reason is that this is the first time I'm holding one of these things, for reasons I probably don't need to remind you lot EDIT: wait, this looks and sounds different to when I was flicking through it last night. Does the NSO N64 controller being connected add in Mario 64 sound effects? Edited Thursday at 09:54 PM by Julius 1

Does the NSO N64 controller being connected add in Mario 64 sound effects? Yup, same goes for the other NSO apps and their controllers. It's a nice little touch. When you play multiplayer, it also shows who is using the N64 controller. Which is helpful for figuring out who has an inherent disadvantage with a Pro Controller. 1
Dcubed Posted Friday at 03:11 AM Posted Friday at 03:11 AM The GB and GBA apps are the only ones that don’t have bonuses for using special controllers with because… well… there aren’t any special GB or GBA controllers available for Switch 1
Ashley Posted Friday at 08:50 AM Posted Friday at 08:50 AM They should add a battery-powered light clip on for the Switch to create that GB/GBA feel. 1 1
Glen-i Posted Friday at 03:21 PM Posted Friday at 03:21 PM (edited) OK, NSO night has three of us, so anyone who wants to join in, go ahead and let yourself be known. And feel free to name any GBA/N64 game you feel like playing. 8:30pm tonight. Edited Friday at 03:22 PM by Glen-i
