Sheikah Posted September 10, 2020 Posted September 10, 2020 Heavily rumoured the last few weeks, and it's here. Looks pretty rough... I think it's the faces that look a bit budget.
Julius Posted September 10, 2020 Author Posted September 10, 2020 Switch version coming down the road..? Apparently got deleted shortly after, but it's been spotted elsewhere on the site and during the game's promotion too. Also, this is pretty neat. Comes with the original 1989 game! And those screenshots look a little better.

I didn't know they were still making PS2/PS3 games.
Julius Posted February 5, 2021 Author Posted February 5, 2021 (edited) Delayed from March 18th to an unspecified date. Which was originally delayed from January 21st. Edited February 5, 2021 by Julius
Ganepark32 Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 Pretty much par for the course with Ubisoft releases these last couple of years. They have a slate of 2 or 3 games for the start of the year and then one by one, they're all delayed indefinitely. Likely see this alongside Far Cry 6 and Riders Republic in the October-December going by how they've handled it in previous years. Gives this plenty more time in the oven as it was looking rough to say the least.
Dcubed Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 (edited) Yeah, this remake is never coming out. It's gonna be quietly shitcanned forever and then Ubisoft will pretend it never existed. Probably for the best. They're not capable of doing the series and this game justice anymore anyway. Edited February 5, 2021 by Dcubed
S.C.G Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 If anyone really wanted to play Prince of Persia: Sands of Time then there are many different versions of it across GC, PS2, Xbox, PC... plus a GBA version. There's even Prince of Persia Trilogy on the PS2, plus a later PS3 HD version, unless there's something wrong with those versions? I can only speak for the quality of the games on the GameCube, I'd imagine that they still hold up pretty well today though. Also, I just checked and the Xbox version is backwards compatible on the Xbox One. 1
Julius Posted May 3, 2022 Author Posted May 3, 2022 Now under development at the hands of Ubisoft Montreal: Yeah, this could be a while.
Dcubed Posted May 3, 2022 Posted May 3, 2022 (edited) Yeah, this game just got Metroid Prime 4'd; as did Ubisoft India. Calling it now. This game will never release. Edit: Oh wait, I forgot that I already predicted that before... Well... I'm predicting it again Edited May 3, 2022 by Dcubed
Julius Posted June 3 Author Posted June 3 Ubisoft Toronto have now joined in the fun that is this game's development. See y'all in another 2 or 3 years I guess.
Julius Posted June 10 Author Posted June 10 2026 it is. Ya know, they've won me over. Relaunching the game's marketing with a CGI candle has made me do a complete 180° on this game. 1
