No, if you want to trade with friends, you have to both be on at the same time. And it seems that the person hosting the room needs a Premium subscription. I have about 12 euros in my Play account and I don't know what to do with it (got it through enquiries). So this may be interesting to get it for a month and transfer stuff from X/Ultra Moon. @Glen-i well that bites, was indeed almost to good to be true. So let's trade in Sword/Shield then. I'm not available during the day but can do tonight from around 7PM UK time. 1

Especially Litten, Incineroar is both a Pokémon I like and arguably one of the best starters competitively.
